There should be a quiker way to highlight and delete when your trying to roll through 300 emails a day. From client communication to mood boards and drafts it is something I use everyday. Despite having a couple quirks, it's working well for us and we don't have any problems utilizing it with our fast-paced workflow. The platform is solid and I would love to see a little bit more of visualizing, but it's a necessary tool for me. Pros Gmail is so organised for me including the labels and filters. I can easily find all of the emails from my clients, inspiration or project approvals without sifting through tons of emails in my inbox. When I share design files, the integration with Google Drive is an added benefit. I'm also a fan of its responsiveness, as even with multiple tabs and apps open, it doesn't slow down. So, effectively, very little effort required to accomplish the task. Cons Occasionally, the search feature isn't consistent. I will enter specific words and sometimes the results do not provide what I am looking for. Plus, the flexibility with the entire appearance is restricted, I want more layout/colour choices, I want it to be my workspace. I had it since long time ago and I still use it up until now because of it's reliability Pros It's the most convenient email application. I like that it is easy to use especially integrating with multiple websites as a log in. I enjoy it most because it is free to use -- definitely a bang for your buck. The interface is also easy to use, easy to customize whether we want a white/dark version. Bugs and issues are also easily addressed. Newsletters are few as well so it's not something that's most bothering. Customer service is also good. Cons I think since it is a common email provider, it might be a little difficult to create a username that will be easily remembered. Cons Lately Gmail has been displaying a lot of in-app notifications for AI features. I'm happy to try out new feature,s and some of the AI tools have been genuinely helpful, but the notification banners themselves are cumbersome and get in the way of what I need to use the app for. Pros Ease of use, it is a whole SAAS, you don't need to install any APP or software in advance, but if you want, the APP or software also easy to use, unlike traditionally if you use outlook, you still need to set up some configuration, such as SMTP or POP. Cons Not easy to to find the email chain by topic or related CC or BCC. For example, if I use 'xxx yy' as keyword, it will 'too smart' to find all emails having content in 'xxx' or 'yy', instead of showing all emails with 'xxx yy' firstly. Gmail also has many customization options for inbox types, tabs and density settings. It is excellent for filtering out unwanted and spam mails. Cons Love the app however i feel like the customer service is little limited when it comes to the free version. It's reliable, straightforward, and once you get your labels and filters set up the way you like it, managing your inbox becomes second nature. For a business it does what it needs to do and the fact that everything connects seamlessly with Google Drive, Meet, and Calendar is a huge plus. I've never had major issues with downtime or emails not delivering which at the end of the day is the most important thing. Pros The customization options are decent enough with labels and filters, but don't expect to do much with the actual design or branding. Newsletter management is okay, though you'll still find yourself manually sorting through clutter more than you'd like. Customer support is helpful in the times I've needed it. Cons The thing that frustrated me the most about Gmail is the storage. It fills up way faster than you'd expect, especially when you're running a business and dealing with large attachments, invoices, and files daily. Before you know it, you're getting that warning telling you you're almost out of space and then you're forced to either start deleting emails you might actually need or pay for more storage on top of what you're already paying. It plays nicely with sharing sheets, docs, slides, etc and organizes emails and attachments in a cohesive manner. Pros Gmail is a great email provider, with customizable and easy to navigate features. I especially like the subfolders and ways that it syncs with drive to store documents, pictures, etc. It sends messages easily and offers a decent amount of free storage. It presorts advertisements into subcategories that helps keep my main inbox clear. Cons It does has limits on the size and quantity of pictures that can be sent, and pictures sometimes take some time to go through and be received. It is also not streamlined to batch delete hundreds of spam emails. I have had an account for nearly 20 years and do not have any want or need to try and switch to a different email provider. Pros I have had a Gmail account for approximately 18 years now. I started using a Gmail when I was about 16 years old which just goes to show you how easy it is to use. I like that your Gmail account can be customized to your preferred design which I tend to change seasonally to make it more visually appealing for myself. I have not had to pay for my Gmail account since having it however you can pay for additional storage if needed but overall free which makes it even better. Gmail offers multiple ways to help store and customize your email for better organization which is also helpful when trying to clear out your inbox while saving emails that are important. I have had limited issues since having a Gmail account but the customer support chat online is very user friendly when I have needed to use it. As a person who has multiple different email accounts I also like the ability that I have to link all of my Gmail accounts together to make it easier to jump between them. Cons So far there is not really anything that I do not like about my email account. Since I have had my email account for 18 plus years I have an over abundance of spam and unread emails which has now caused me to run out of storage space for my main account. I wish there was an easier way to go through and delete old and unneeded emails. I love that it typically doesn't give me ads and things I don't want to see. I want email and that is what it gives me. Pros I love that Google is very easy to use and works syncing in other email systems. I can get access anywhere there is an internet connection. An at Gmail.com tells me this is someone who might be tech-savvy. Cons I dislike the layout on a web browser and the settings to create a signature. You have this intuitive product and the layout is still as if only personal users are using this. For business, the layout is very poor.
