I have had positive experiences with it . Pros Great email platform which is highly secure. I can access from my mobile app and computer. I can categorise my mail and schedule emails to be sent later Cons There isn't much I dislike as it has been reliable for me. It does exactly what it needs to do - send and receive email, securely. It handles spam and phishing (mostly) very well. Never really had any significant bugs or issues. Mobile experience is just as good as desktop. Pros It's stable, seems secure, allows for easy management of emails and integrates with other tools easily. Represents great value for money - we've had it for longer than I can remember. Offers plenty of storage and a certain amount of customisation. Cons Filters haven't changed in years - they could certainly be more powerful, allowing more automated sorting of emails. Also don't like the now-frequent banners trying to encourage us to upgrade. Delayed email sending is a feature that is totally awesome and allows the sending of service outage messages due to maintenance at prescribed times. Pros Ease of setup, capabilities, multi-account facilities, alias, and platform independence. Feature-rich, but allows the ability to manage email sending from different devices, seamlessly and you can pick up from one device to another, custom signatures, delayed email sending is very easy to use, makes service outage messages really easy to manage. Cons Email conversations/trails are hard to review when the trail is long. Since Gemini came along, you can ask it to summarize the email trail; otherwise hard to follow at times. It's easy to use and I like how you can customize a lot of things. It really is 'smart'! Pros I use gmail all the time. It is easy to find emails and I feel like even though they delete, they are still able to be found from the cloud which has come in handy sometimes. I find it is overall very useful, regularly updated, and well designed. Pros It seamlessly integrates with google calendar. It is easy to set up and use and automatically filters out spam and promotional emails. Cons I don't like that I couln't find a free app for my Macbook where I can have multiple accounts logged in at once like on my Iphone. It is annoying to have to open a new tab and log in every time. June 4, 2025 5.0 I have been using Gmail for a long time and love the ease of use, the personalization options (color, backgrounds, etc.) as well as all of the other many settings so that I can really make it my own. Pros The ease of use and the options to personalize. All of my emails come in in a clear easy to read way. I like that I can personalize how they are ordered, how they are sorted and what the screen in general looks like. Cons I do not currently have me email set to automatically reply to all. Sometimes, I would like to reply all and having to remember to select that as an option is a problem for me. Or alternatively, if I have the option choosen, remembering not to select all. However, this is user error problem more than a problem with Gmail because I like that I have the option to choose and am not stuck one way or the other. I even use Gmail for my construction business, using their Google Workspace. It works great when paired with Squarespace. Pros THE email platform. If you do not use Gmail, you're not emailing right! I love how easily I can connect all of my google products and add stuff from other google products into my gmail. Such as pulling files from my google drive, to pulling dates from my google calendar. Amazing product! Cons I wish there was a more controlled spam filter that doesn't allow any marketing services to reach out to you.
