Very satisfied with the tool's capabilities and overall strategic recommendations and alignment on mutual goals.

Pros

Overall onboarding, ease of use, implementation and going live were all very simple. To get up and running was easy. Pricing is fair and ongoing product enhancements are frequent and allow them to stay ahead of trends and competition.

Cons

Limitations in nuances of two-way conversations are industry wide among all competitors, however Emotive is making strides to improve this facet of the channel.

Many factors contributed to the decision to partner with Emotive. Overall tech capabilities, strategic support, roadmap goals and pricing all weighed in for this decision.

### "Not ready for prime time"

Unfortunately, we spent hours pointing out the flaws in the product (and acting as an unpaid QA). When we asked to be released from our contract, we were told no, that we didn't run the requisite number of campaigns (which we weren't going to do given the issues). A shame since we are a small business and feel taken advantage of. . .

Pros

The promise (the sales machine) behind Emotive sounded great. Increase conversions, engagement, sales, etc. You know the pitch.

Cons

Unfortunately, there were many glitches in the software. From slack integration not working to texting incorrect names, to messages not triggering a new conversation to having to manually edit the response verbiage to match from text to text . . . The list goes on and on.

ok to start, terrible to finish. If I were to do this all over again, I would choose another service.

Pros

The team was friendly at first, but then pretty much left us out in the cold.

Cons

They are, or at least the individual with whom we are dealing, are void of any integrity. Don't waste your time with this service when there are other services that will be much better, like Attentive or PostScript. Emotive has many hidden costs and what I consider to be shady practices. Continue with them at your own risk.

Pros

The ease of use and interface is great. However, what i most like about Emotive is the weekly customer support from \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]. So friendly and explains things so clearly. He is a pleasure to talk to and work with. He has good creativity for the text messages and always has great answers to my questions/comments. I do not think our company would still be with Emotive if it were not for \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]. Kudos to \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]!!

Cons

Nothing I can think of yet. our experience so far has been positive.

Pros

Emotive has been a great tool in driving customer engagement and enhancing revenue. The onboarding process was easy. Functionality and personalization of the texts have proven really strong in strengthening and deepening our customer relationships.

Cons

Some minor functionality challenges with approval of text lists, but this has improved and not been a major deterrent in use of the software.

The integration was a little tricky and took longer than what we would've planned, but the Emotive team worked hard to assess the problems and find a solution. Our customer success manager, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\], has been wonderful to work with and always provides me with answers and insight right away. I've also enjoyed working with the copywriting team. They get back to me right away with suggestions and revisions that fall in line with their best practices.

Pros

The broadcasts are so easy to set-up and schedule!

Cons

Would like to feel more confident in organizing keywords and utilizing all aspects of Emotive. Right now, we're only doing limited broadcast message.

Our team used Emotive for several months and it did the job we needed it to do, but that was about it. Would recommend for its price, but there are definitely better options out there for this type of service.

Pros

Emotive was able to deliver to both the US and Canada. While most of our shoppers are located in the US, it was great for our Canadian customers to have the ability to opt in to text services.

Cons

The platform was not the most user-friendly. It is difficult to schedule and customize campaigns, and flow development is hard to follow.

Pros

Emotive is a wonderful SMS platform. The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. Our account manager helped us from day 1 and is still plays an active role in our SMS marketing plan. The deliverability of our promotions and communications with customers is almost 100%, leading to a very high ROI.

Cons

One of the issues I run into regularly is the inability to send to multiple customer lists at a time.

Pros

The customer success help, as well as the easy to use user interface. And most of all - the conversational feature. Which is so undervalued in SMS and will be such a huge feature for this coming decade.

Cons

The monthly service charge. I do not see $400 worth of value for the price.
