Owner Marketing and Advertising Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Clockk is awesome, support is fantastic and the product just keeps getting better" June 20, 2022 5.0 Personally, I often find that tracking and capturing what you are working on takes longer and is a bigger hassle to do than doing the actual project work. You want to dive in and get things done, not write the narrative of what you are doing. I'm far more productive with Clockk automatically tracking things in the background and always having a record there to check on for whatever reason, and it does a stellar job at that! It's Pros I am a big fan of the Clockk application, the team behind it (who are super responsive and seem like great people), the insights I get from the product and overall service Clockk provides. It's a great ai-based tool for time tracking and just having a record to reference for when you do your recap to bill out client work. Because I've shifted to value-based selling & project work, billable hours aren't as big a focus as they once were. So tools like Clockk have become more of an automated productivity auditing system that I can use to compare my to do list with what I actually "to did" or what keeps causing something to get bumped to the next day's list. It's also very useful in helping to determine and maintain some metrics on the profitability of value-based project and pricing strategy, which can be a bit amorphous - so Clockk helps me to keep it on track toward improvement. Cons No cons that I can think of really. I actually used a competitive product for many years that did a decent job, but wasn't crazy about the fees and it didn't seem to evolve over the years at all - it was just kinda there. Clockk is the opposite, it just keeps getting better. Rather than just sit there and be what you originally bought the utility of the ai is that it will keep improving over time as it is trained on your patterns. The more I use it, the better I get. I think, anyway, please add more YouTube How-to videos. Is there a faster way to use it? I want to know. Pros Multi-project time tracking is critically important to my keeping my sanity. Clockk time tracking software allows me to track all my time, not just one task at a time. Efficiency experts urge us not to multi-task because it destroys our productive outputs, yet I still do it every day because I am a scattered creative type with no impulse control. Cons I would love more onboarding walkthroughs, videos, and screengrabs. I always want to know for certain that I am using the software as intended. Another way of thinking about my ask is expert tips or timesavers. After using Clock for two months, I really didn't see the point in using anything else. The whole idea is not new and there are many similar tools, but this is the only tool I don't have to constantly check, click on start/stop buttons etc. It just works. Cons I was under an impression that the software is so easy to use that I don't even need to watch tutorial videos. " November 11, 2022 5.0 Ever since I bought Clockk I've been using it everyday. I really have a lot of fun with it because it's more of a tool I can use that useful for time tracking as opposed to all the rest that have just annoyed me to no end. With Clockk there is no hitting a button to track your time. It just automatically knows. And if you set up your calendar, emails, download it to your system and install it on your browser, it knows what tasks to assign to whatever projects you have entered in at set up. Really intuitive and can show you where your time is being spent. I've never been successful at that before with any tracking app. This has really blown my mind and made it fun. Plus you get an update email the next day for activity the previous day...with screenshots! Really cool. Oh and on the activity page, on the left hand side they have screenshots of your activity for you to visually recognize the tasks that you were doing. We are thoroughly impressed so far. Pros I LOVE that I don't have to hit a button to track my time. That to me is just lame. Nobody remembers to hit a button to track their time and if they do it becomes friction within the process. Trackk doesn't have a button to hit. It tracks things automatically! Literally if I log into my email account (assigned to a specific project) it knows that the tasks performed within that email and the links clicked from that email have to do with that particular project. It's really smart and it provides screenshots on the review of time that hasn't been categorized yet so you can see where you want to add that time to. Cons Nothing that I've found really yet. It sends you an update email the next day of your time tracked the previous day and for the uncategorized items, it would be nice if we could click on those directly to where it will take us to that specific time on the activity page to where we can assign it. I'm sure they're already got that being prepared because they're really thought of everything. One thing that could be added...On the time sheet...being able to click on the project/activity to edit it if need be. Review Source Jesse F. Pros I have used other products like Toggl, Harvest and Time Doctor and this product makes time tracking so much easier and efficient than any other product I have used. The automatic capture of browser use, website app use and desktop app usage is so essential for people that are working on multiple things throughout the day. Cons When adding certain activities from the timeline into a project, you have to add everything, it would be nice to select what you want to add so that you don't have to remove 20 things once you add the block of items into the project. Pros I love the set it and forget it nature of Clockk. I just open the app at the end of the day and my entire workday is already tagged and assigned to each client with accurate timestamps. With Clockk, it tracks the time for you automatically to help you get a full overview of your entire work day. Pros Clockk has a great design and is very easy to use to automatically track your jobs without having to manually start and stop timers. It learns what files and URLs you use and applies the time to your projects automatically. You can also choose exactly what files and folders it watches. Cons There isn't anything I like the least with Clockk. I can see them continue to upgrade and improve. Perhaps some kinds of built-in invoicing tool would be a nice addition, but I manage my own invoicing. Review Source DB Dror B. Can't recommend this enough. Pros I've been on the lookout for a time-tracking tool that will simply do what it should without too much manual interference and I'm glad to say, that my search has come to an end with CLOKK. " May 16, 2022 5.0 Love it. #nufsaid Pros I can see just how much time I spent working on my MANY (currently 17 different) clients down to which item I downloaded, what platform I was using, which email I was reading, everything in between... and it learns through repetitive actions so soon enough, I don't have to identify but a few stragglers that were new/unknown to the tool... it's amazing. Not only do I know exactly how much time I worked on a given client project, I know granularly, exactly what I was working on!! Cons It doesn't (to my knowledge) track zoom, so when I'm meeting w a client via zoom, I have to remember to add those conversations manually. I always struggled with other software where you have to set timers, etc. I'd often forgot to set them running as I can work on 40+ different jobs a day, so pretty much useless, this is everything it promised. ;-) Pros The new features just brought in are absolutely amazing, this really is a game changer for me and my business, works brilliantly, and the support is second to none. Pros I like being able to see how I'm spending my day and how much I bounce around. It helps me to work on streamlining my day to get more productivity out of it. Cons I'm not good at leaving unassigned. I like everything to have it's place. It's a little hard to train it on thing I use for multiple jobs. I suggest using an "Admin" project for any resource you use for multiple jobs. You'll have to apply the time to the correct project manually, but at least you won't miss out on the time!
