Sherlock dient bei uns als "universales Backend" für mobile Apps und interne Anwendungen im Bereich Analytik/Markt. Sherlock hat sich als stabile, performante und zeitgemäße Grundlage für unsere Eigenentwicklungen im Frontend-Bereich erwiesen.

Pros

Funktional erfüllt Sherlock unsere Erwartungen vollständig. Das Onboarding der Daten geht zügig von der Hand Dank nifi-Konnektor und REST Api. Die Möglichkeit, kriterienbasiert automatisch Kanten zwischen Daten aus verschiedenen Quellen zu erzeugen, ist sehr praxisnah und wird bei uns oft genutzt. Sehr angenehm war auch die Bereitstellung von Sherlock als Cloudservice. Sherlock kommt dem, was wir uns als "universellen Daten-Hub" schon länger gewünscht haben, von allen evaluierten Lösungen am nächsten.

Cons

Die Visualisierungsmöglichkeiten, die "out of the box" vorhanden sind, sind etwas beschränkt. Es fehlt aus meiner Sicht auch an Möglichkeiten zur direkten Interaktion mit dem Datengraphen in der Sherlock-Oberfläche selbst, so dass wir für PoCs nicht ausschließlich mit Sherlock arbeiten.

Reasons for choosing Sherlock

Anzo hat uns überzeugt, war allerdings in Anschaffungs- und Betriebskosten jenseits unseres Budgets. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis von Sherlock sowie die hervorragende Kundenbetreuung von Fischer gaben dann den Ausschlag für Sherlock.

Pros

With the introduction of Sherlock, we are meeting the requirements of product and service communication in the course of digitalisation. We are networking our information from the most diverse customers and corporate divisions, thereby creating a whole new exchange of information.

Cons

The software has yet so much more capabilities I can only imagine. Unfortunately there are not yet enough examples and usecases available.
