May 18, 2026 4.0 I still use it for tier 3 vocabulary in my classroom, and include translation programs for my ELL students. Pros It's great for rapid memorization. When you struggle with it, there are several ways of ensuring you have the information in your brain, and they move them around so you don't get into the "pattern lock" of remembering something in relation to what came before it. Cons Still hasn't improved for DOK3 and DOK4. This is basic memorization, at best. The problem is that it simply isn't meant for problem solving skills. Review Source R Reviewer teacher Used the software for: 3-5 years ### "The benefits of using Quizlet" May 7, 2026 5.0 It has been very good. I have used it for multiple years and it came in handy for Academic Decathlon. Pros I like making decks that help my students study. I like that I can keep them up for multiple years and classes. It is easy to make for my students, and I love the AI function as well. This has come in very handy. Cons My students wanted to make their own and share them with their classmates, but they were not at the age requirement. I understand, but it was a bummer. Quizlet helped me a lot throughout the years and has been a great use of my money. Pros What I like most about Quizlet is its content creation. Quizlet is very good for studying and a great value for money. Cons What I like least about Quizlet is how sometimes there can be a loading problem with the software itself. Review Source Armando R. August 7, 2025 4.0 So far it makes my study for Amazon Web Services way better since I can repurpose my inputs as standard flash cards, match each term and even game-ify each question. Pros I've been extracting from article writing related topics in Amazon Web Services to gain my certification and to study them. This allows me to push further my content creation when it comes to flash cards and also with my youtube channel to document how I use Quizlet. Text generation is straightforward since I can take extracts from the modules and use them as flashcards. Voice and text from what Ive seen in paid tier makes it more immerssive to further advance the way I study to sharpen my knowledge pe module. Image generation is still a work in progress because I haven't tried it yet. Cons My only concern is that perhaps you can't see if you can switch from Spaced Repetition to standard study approach. Review Source R Reviewer teacher Used the software for: 3-5 years ### "Very Effective fpr learning Vocab" January 30, 2022 5.0 My main use of this software is using the flashcards and matching feature. We done use the rest. Pros I really like that students can practice using the flashcards and listening to it being read. Cons I am not impressed with the spelling feature or the gravity one. My student love the matching and enjoy beating their scores. I use it for teaching vocabulary, revision study skills and gamifying learning. Pros The ability to share and customise sets. Students can create their own or I can modify existing sets. The revision activities are engaging and the team options inspire collaboration. Cons It isn’t as aesthetically engaging as some other quiz sites for young people. But in the with the passing of time when i wanted to do more complex card i can't so i have to use other software for that poruse Pros All the features are easy to use. I love that they include the funtion to search other users study sets so you can use it too. Also all the study modes that it have really help you changing your study type. Cons A lot of the most interesting features that it have are restricted to the premium version so for simple study cards its okay but if you want something more elaborated ones you will be very limited. I've used it for about a decade now and it was as great when I first downloaded it as it is now. Pros User interface is very intuitive, I appreciate the different options to display the quizzes, so much better than flipping over a paper flash card. Cons I haven't found anything to not work well for me, but I also don't really use all the features of Quizlet, so not sure how the more advanced/in-depth things work. I used it to memorize the menu at my waitressing job! Pros I can scan documents to make a personalized study set! It also makes studying fun! I enjoy it a lot. Cons There's not much to not like! But i wish i could use the learn section more without needing premium. Review Source R Reviewer Graduate Student Used the software for: 3-5 years ### "Quizlet Helps me Succeed!" March 26, 2025 5.0 I have had a super good experience with quizlet. It is so helpful and a very good study tool. Pros I absolutely love quizlet. I especially love their new feature that has a check or an x and you swipe one way to say if you know it or not. That has been very helpful for my studying. Cons It can be hard to find other people's quizlets. It may be helpful if you could 'follow' others so you could easily navigate to their quizlets. Review Source Mel M. Teacher Used the software for: 1-3 years ### "Quizlet is a must-have for teachers!" March 17, 2025 5.0 I like creating entertaining, engaging, and interactive activities that are easily accessible for my students. It is by far one of the best and most robust learning and digital flashcard tools out there. It will serve the needs of the majority of users very well and it is easy to share with other students or whole classes. The study sets are highly customizable and feature-rich with great support for different languages. I do wish its user experience was more customizable and flexible and that the mobile apps were more consistent across platforms, but these concerns do not keep it from being still one of the best if not the best learning solutions on the market today for free or for a reasonable price. For all these reasons I highly recommend Quizlet, though I hope the company continues to improve and innovate its user experience in the years to come. Pros Quizlet is one of the longest and biggest names out there in the study and digital flashcard space. It allows you to create a near limitless amount of highly customizable digital flashcard sets, with rich text formatting, image integration, multi-language support, and custom audio recordings. They have a vast publicly available library of other users' study sets that can be easily searched and either used directly or easily copied and edited to suit your own goals. If you are studying a popular topic or textbook, chances are there are already multiple high-quality quizlet sets available. Even when creating your own study sets from scratch, quizlet even suggests answers/definitions based on what other users have put for your term. Sets can be organized into folders or classes and easily shared with others for use in an educational setting. On top of this, Quizlet goes beyond simple digital flashcards to provide a variety of learning tools and games that users can make use of for practicing their sets. Quizlet is also highly mobile, with well-established and robust apple and android applications that allow you to take and practice your sets on the go. As a student and as a teacher, I have found Quizlet to be an incredibly valuable tool for improving learning. Cons While Quizlet is one of the best options out there, as a long-time user, I am disappointed in a number of features. It would be nice for Quizlet to be more customizable. They seem to try to push users to study "their way" with default viewing and study settings. Some users will want to make use of all of quizlets features, while others will just want digital flashcards. People should be free to learn as is best for them. In this regard, I wish Quizlet remembered user's settings better and had more master options for tweaking how sets behave by default. There are also significant design differences between the Android and iPhone apps. I generally found the Android app better and didn't understand why the two apps didn't mirror each other in features. As one small but annoying example, the Android app seems to scale card text better according, while the apple app has text very small by default, making it much harder to see.I have also run into some significant technical glitches, though this is perhaps due to my use of very large study sets with custom audio. I have run into issues with the online recording tool, often having to do multiple takes before it records a clean version. The mobile app also often fails to update my larger study sets after use, so I have to delete and re-download the app to make them work.A final concern is I haven't seen Quizlet innovate much in the past few years. Their very good product seems to have stagnated in terms of features. Review Source VR Verified Reviewer Student Used the software for: 3-5 years ### "Highly recommended for students!!" March 28, 2022 5.0 Pros Quizlet is the app/website that helps me get through my classes easily. As I am a student, terms are inevitable. And as much as I love memorization, sometimes, memorizing things can be quite complicated. With the help of Quizlet, I can learn and memorize terms and concepts really easily that it's mind-blowing. They have a gamification-kind of learning, and I think that's what makes Quizlet one of the app/website that can really help students get ahead their peers. Of course, Quizlet is really famous for their flashcards. It's the best thing in Quizlet! You can study your flashcards with their variety of features: "Learn", if you are still aren't that familiar with your flashcards, "Write" for identification, "Spell" to test your spelling skills, and "Test", to test your familiarity with the flashcards! They even let you learn your stuff by playing. Using Quizlet drastically improved my familiarity with the terms used in my classes. Cons Quizlet is the perfect app/website for students! With that said, so far, I do not see anything in Quizlet worth calling as one of their flaws. It's an absolute must-have tool! Pros It's ease of use, mobility, and functionality. Cons Quizlet should fix the live set-up to make it easier for the instructor to add students to groups or to create groups more easily. Review Source R Reviewer Pest control Scheduler Used the software for: 3-5 years ### "Quizlets" May 1, 2023 5.0 I absolutely love the site, it’s a real big help for kids, teens and anyone who’s in school honestly, it’s a nice study guide and cheat sheet if you have take home tests or tests online. Pros I like the functionality of it and how helpful it is on tests and quizzes, you can use it for studying, it’s very versatile and they have tests/quiz answers for literally ANY test given in the US. Cons There are some tests given by instructors that don’t have all study questions/answers on Quizlet or they might not have them in order or the test you have, you might have to scroll through a few questions just to get to a question/answer you’re looking for Review Source Ayesha A. This is the easiest and best way to learn. I make flash cards for exactly every test. I promise if I didn’t had this app I would fail my bIM class cuz I hate bIM since I have to know many vocabulary so I just make flash cards in quizlet. Best app ever Pros I don’t care what other people say like literally this app is a gem and you can not change my point of view. Cons I love everything about it. There is nothing about this app that should be change. Review Source R Reviewer Strategic Partnerships Manager Used the software for: 3-5 years ### "Quizlet: The Flashcard Study Aid" April 29, 2021 5.0 Ultimately, Quizlet is a great study tool that can also be used in businesses to train new employees which is helpful. I would recommend it to anyone looking to train employees quickly and effectively. Pros I used Quizlet extensively when I was in university and it is great for studying, due to the flashcard functionality of Quizlet. However, it is also useful in a business setting, especially for training new employees. Quizlet is very easy and intuitive to use thanks to its clean interface. You can also share ‘study sets’ with other users easily which is useful. There are many study modes on Quizlet like Learn mode which help greatly with studying. Finally, the smart grading feature is also quite useful because it corrects answers more accurately accounting for small mistakes in open ended questions. Cons The Pro membership has become quite expensive over the past few years which may be unappealing for some people. Review Source R Reviewer Book reviewer Used the software for: 3-5 years ### "Great tool" May 15, 2023 5.0 Pros I love quizlet because it is very easy to use. You can make flash cards and so many study materials. Cons I don’t have any cons about quizlet. It’s easy to use Review Source R Reviewer Financial Analyst Used the software for: 3-5 years ### "Quizlet: The Perfected Digital Flash Cards. " June 14, 2022 5.0 I usually do not give many software 5-stars, but Quizlet honestly deserves it. It has helped me so much on tests, quizzes, and projects. I can login in and my pass flashcards will be saved; I am able to look back at them anytime. Thank you Quizlet for making my life easier. Pros I love the flashcards and the matching feature that Quizlet provides. With a tap or a click, we are able to see the right answer, or a definition of a word. This has helped me so much throughout school, and I was able to learn so much because of this app. I was a heavy Advanced Placement course taker, and without this app, I would not have passed my exams. Cons I thought countless minutes about this question, and I believe I do not dislike anything about Quizlet. This app is the definition of perfection itself. It provided me and aid me through so many school-related stuff. Review Source R Reviewer High School Spanish & Math Teacher Used the software for: 3-5 years ### "Quizlet is near perfect when it comes to learning foreign language vocabulary." May 17, 2022 5.0 If our district would not fund my subscription I would pay for it myself. It is very affordable, but more importantly it is almost a guarantee they will learn and remember the vocabulary. Pros With a subscription I can assign study sets to students and they can practice until mastery. This single tool has been the most effective when teaching foreign language vocabulary. My students will agree. There is little or no way they can avoid learning the vocabulary. Cons Sometimes there can be glitches if s a student uses multiple devices to complete the study set. On my end it will show as incomplete, but usually they can show me on their devices it has been completed. Review Source R Reviewer Captain Used the software for: 3-5 years ### "Quizlet review" February 13, 2023 4.0 we have had a great experience with quizlet overall Pros this is very easy to use and navigate while learning Cons i wish there was a direct way to communicate with the teachers through the assignments Review Source R Reviewer student Used the software for: 3-5 years ### "Fantastic way to study!" August 10, 2020 5.0 I will continue to use Quizlet's website and the mobile app to quickly make and study flashcards. Pros I have used Quizlet through middle school, high school, and college. It is a great way to easily and quickly make flashcards. I like that Quizlet provides multiple ways to study your flashcards, including games, type-responses, timed matching, etc. You can also make your flashcards public, share them just with certain people using a link, or keep them private. Cons Some of the features like combining sets and duplicating sets may be hard for new users to find. All in all, Quizlet works very well. Review Source Similar Products Featured
