It makes our online marketing materials and training booklets look very professionally produced but with the ease of a well-structured piece of software that is simple to use. Pros The user interface is well designed and easy to use The ability to output the book design as a flipbook is excellent. It looks cutting edge but is really simple to achieve. I like the fact that the software can create a table of contents so that users can easily find what they are looking for. Cons I would like more ability to place images into the design of the book and wrap text around it appropriately. This may be more down to my lack of experience since I have only been using the software for a couple of weeks. Reason for choosing Designrr I trialled another software title but found Designrr much more effective in producing high-grade publications that the user can even choose to download as a PDF or print directly from the online publication. Pros Flipbook, because I'm a new user for about a month and find flip book very impressive and decided to use Designrr and the price is so good. However; I haven't decided yet whether to upgrade or not because I cannot afford the monthly pay, but as soon as I know more how to use it I might change my mind then. Cons Recently i enjoy from PDF to flip, but what I don't know clearly is an import from Ms.word as i'm not sure yet how to use. I believe I will enjoy using it later on. Review Source BC Brian C. I have published at least 9 E-books so far using this software with at least another 5 in the works. Pros I liked the ease of implementation with this product. I also like the quick media upload. I purchased a similar product that's achingly slow at media uploads. Cons There are a few glitches. One of the E books I made had all of the text compacted and it could not be fixed. There are also times when scrolling down in edited text is close to impossible. You have to be very patient. Reason for choosing Designrr I own both products. Each company has features that I favor. I found it as a solution to try to recover, with a modern look, documents, books and other materials that will probably be lost / forgotten forever if no one takes the trouble to preserve them, giving people today the opportunity to learn the teachings of our Church and the legacy of our Spiritual Masters. Yes, I purchased Designrr on my own, with no cost to the Expectant Church, in the hope of getting help with the production of "revamped" content. Every time I could, I dedicated myself to learn how it works. When I needed company's support, got it quickly and now I am no longer exactly a beginner. So I am very satisfied with the product, which is helping me a lot. Congrats and thank you! Pros The chance it gives us to modernize very ancient content without too much complication. Cons I think there's a lack of exporting options on PRO plan. It must have a way to share our projects on other ways besides PDF. Like HTML export and/or embed. The reality is this content design tool works even better than it is described and is not a valuable part of my toolkit for content deployment. Pros I like the ease of getting started and having a product in a very short time. But what is even better is that you have a super large variety of options and if you can put in a little more time you can produce extraordinary content even if you are not a designer at heart. Cons Finding formatting options was a challenge and using fonts that are in the original document didn't get converted or made available as editable fonts. Pros For a non-designer it allows me to create nicely designed content, which is a gift and the ability to copy and paste a web URL into a page is magic. Cons The interface when writing text is quite difficult with different boxes appearing each time you move and no ability to create page breaks so inserting a page above other pages causes all sorts of problems. I have enjoyed using Designrr and can import large documents and datasets into pre-prepared templates, so making ebooks is a doddle. The major issue I have is that the site can be frustrating and slow, and it can be a steep learning curve to learn how to use the many elements of Designrr. Pros I use Designrr to quickly and easily create ebooks. The most important elements for me are that I can use the software online, wherever I am and without the need to download any bulky software. The included design templates also make life so much easier. Cons There are a number of limitations with Designrr, particularly the lack of effective tutorials or instruction documents. One suggestion - you have a great product, so really don't need that hard sell stuff you are doing. Honestly, I didn't even read all the other offers you made when I signed up. Those offers and all that text was really annoying. I knew ahead of time that you did that, and so I just skipped it and went straight to the entry offer. You really don't need all that gobbledy gook, seriously people. That is a complete turn off. I may at some point upgrade. Because I really like your product, but tone down the upsell. Please. If I hadn't known what I wanted beforehand, I probably wouldn't have purchased. Nobody wants to read pages and pages of text. Pros This program is very easy to use. I have found it really helpful to break out my knowledge and package up a little taster for customers. I have no doubt it will be very helpful for my future plans. Pros I love the flipbook feature, it makes any ebook look really professional. My customers love what I have produced so far. I plan to use mine as lead magnets and to grow my audience and business. Cons It would be great if I could upload from powerpoint or keynote. I have to write out from slides to upload so it takes a little more time but I'm pretty handy with the tech so I don't mind.
