I love it! I own a small vacation rental management company and I use it for training videos for my team. We keep our videos up for life, and when we bring on new hires, we can refer them back to training screen casts from this software. Cons The only small thing that could be improved is it seems like the frame rate is a little slow. It may be that I am recording my 4k iMac screen. Either way, don't care! It's awesome! Pros Although it comes with a browser extension, Berrycast installs a small, non-invasive side panel which allows user to quickly start a recording, see previously created videos or adjust account settings. This way Berrycast is not limited to recording content displayed on a browser. Cons As of now there is nothing I don't like about this software :) It works exactly as advertised and it does it very well. I am waiting for the custom domain name, and make the "Made with Berrycast" disappear from the page every time I share the screencast. Pros The reason I like Berrycast is the screencast directly stored on their server every time I did a screencast. The screencast processing is fast too. When I want to share the screencast with someone else, I can just send them a link. I saved the step of uploading the screencast to any server. Great job! Cons I hope that there will be a tool for me to do the highlighting, typing, pointer during I doing the screencast. This will make the screencast better, I don't like to talk in the screencast. The beauty of a video is that the recipient can refer back to it if necessary. Pros I am so happy that I have Berrycast. I use it all the time to explain things in my Toastmasters organization. It's really easy to use and is a very valuable tool. I find their customer service to be excellent and very responsive to users' needs. They keep coming up with new features, too. Berrycast meets my needs to easily explain and teach using my screen and voice. Cons I haven't found anything I don't like about Berrycast. As I said, it just gets better and better. Highly recommended! Pros Berrycast is my go-to video recording software. I use it to record all my meetings, instructional and onboarding videos. It has a very clean UI with a superb UX to boot. Never had any glitches even when recording long videos i.e. 1.5 hours. Sharing of recordings is also a breeze. It's a Godsend! Cons Nothing really, except that it's a desktop software, so you'll need to install it on your computer. And it only works for Windows machines, so not for Mac's. Pros The software is very easy and intuitive to use once you install it. It does not hog up system resources while in standby or in action. Compared to some competitors, Berrycast actually runs on a very old pc that I have as a storage vault when others would crash. Cons Through no fault of their own being a new player in this space, a few features I would like are still missing. At the current speed of development I have no worries that the features I would like will make it very soon. Once I landed on Berrycast, my and my entire team's productivity shot WAY up. Because it is so easy to record and to say "this" is what is wrong, everyone gets it! No more spending hours of time trying to explain what went wrong...this has been a HUGE timesaver. Pros This software is so easy to use. When I have something that I need done or a customer wants to explain desired features / functions to me, I simply hit record and go through all the motions of capturing the information. Once done, the link goes over to the rest of my team and they can collaborate on the video file that I sent over and to more easily understand exactly what the client needed. It is an incredible software package and it is so easy to use. Cons There really are very little downsides to this product. Pick a screen to record 2. Record 3. Send the link to someone you want to view the recording All my videos are recorded in the cloud, and I can download if I want to. When I send it to someone, it's guaranteed that they can view it. Cons The software is extremely light on features. I'd love an option to cut parts of the video out before loading it to the cloud, or have an editing option post-load. It does what it's supposed to extremely well, but doesn't improve on that process. It has reduced the need for long chat messages and made video communication fast. Pros Berrycast makes it so much easy to communicate via videos. Their desktop app is smooth and fast. The video upload speed is also very fast. Plus, the app keeps uploading videos in the background even before the video ends, which saves time. Cons Right now, their support is slow to respond, and it takes time to get help on issues. Also, it would be great their desktop app could include some markup tools. Sometimes we need them.
