I took over a Xero / Square Amaka integration and there were quite a few things that I didn't understand how to fix. I contacted the team and had \[sensitive content hidden\] help me every step of the way. They're very clear, proactive and responsive. Nothing is too difficult

I am not sure yet, I haven't used it long enough

Excellent customer service, fast to resolve issues. Good communication and keeping you updated along the way.

Pros

Received wonderful assistance from \[sensitive content hidden\] after my integration was causing duplicate sales entries and throwing the Square balance completely out. Not having a background in finance I was really overwhelmed (I just help my husband out by doing his business accounts but am in no way confident) and having the support of Amaka who not only identified the problem but fixed it for me, was such a huge relief. They are extremely knowledgeable and so efficient, easy to speak with and friendly. I decided to sign up for the managed services option which I find to be quite well-priced and in my opinion totally worth the money as it takes a great deal of stress off me in no longer having to look after this side of things. Thanks Amaka!

Cons

There is nothing about Amaka that I didn't like.

The support is above all my expectations. Will always refer clients to Square and Amaka.

Pros

I love how awesome the Square support staff are there to help you if you are struggling with integrating or have any questions at all. They are so happy to help. It is a fantastic software to be able to present to clients because Square's support is top notch and it is easy to reconcile/understand the integration. It is a win win when we understand the software.

Cons

When individuals who are just getting started get set up with the software before talking to their accountants, we have had some issues with tax rates that clients have created, but are incorrect. Most of these are solved through troubleshooting with Square support, but I wonder if there is any type of wording when clients go and create accounts like, "It is advised you connect with your accountant/bookkeeper before setting up tax rates". I haven't set up a Square account from start to finish for a client so I apologize if this is already presented.

Pros

With minimal help from my client's accountant, I was able to set up the Amaka integration between Square and MYOB for my client's e-commerce store. A quick call with customer support helped me iron out an issue I couldn't figure out and now it's all systems go.

Cons

It was tough to find a good timeslot to book a customer service call, but this is due to being located in the northern hemisphere while the support team appears to be in the southern hemisphere.

Customer service has never failed me, always finds a solution to any problem i might have.

Pros

Batch processing so I can ensure each days entries are correct, rather than being flooded with hundreds of daily sales entries.

Cons

There were a few errors with syncs but all sorted once discussed with Customer service. It is however important to check that the sync occured correctly on a daily/weekly basis.

Pros

The software does what it needs to, where Amaka com into their own is the clietn support over the phone. I needed support on Square Xero integration and the team have been absolutely first class

Cons

the lead time to book in a support session. I had to wait 4 days

Very great customer service and integration support.

Cons

Being in a different time zone from Amaka is probably the only minor limitation, however it is not a major concern.

Pros

Fast and effective integration management between Square & Xero. Helpful and friendly specialists who make fixing back-end problems a breeze. Highly recommend as I have learned a lot through this process of things that I have been doing wrong for years as well as diagnosing and completely fixing my Intergrations. Worth every cent and can save a lot of time and hassle to have to figure it out yourself.

We are yet to check if the integration is getting back on shape (by tomorrow). But overall, \[sensitive content hidden\] was able to answer all our queries and was able to help us with our problems. The 1 hour went by so fast, that we wanted to extend, but maybe we'll book another call soon.

Cons

There was a glitch in the integration 3 months now. And we've tried to contact through the Stripe help to no avail. Good thing we were able to contact Amaka and able to book a meeting as soon as available.

My CSR, \[sensitive content hidden\], was knowledgeable and helpful. She guided me through the integration and then volunteered to finish a part of the process that needed to be completed manually. She actually followed through and I did not have to waste time tracking her down. She was the one keeping me informed as processes were completed. It was refreshing to have a company and person who actually seemed to care about their customers. What an awesome experience, I highly recommend this service! Will L.

Excellent. They solve my issues whenever I've booked an appointment.

Pros

The terrific customer service. I could not possibly do this on my own. Amaka are extremely helpful and polite whilst helping.

Cons

Only the length of time to obtain an appointment. Sometimes that can be as long as a week, but that's life and I work around it. This is no fault of Amaka's.
