Pros

Adding and managing contacts through your phone or web application is fairly easy. Plus, if you use Gmail or Google Meet, contacts appear and you can select them easily.

Cons

I feel that it’s just a regular contact management application, especially for Google apps. This can’t replace a CRM.

Pros

Google Contacts is a great platform to keep track of & categorize people. It has a good value for money. They offer many fields that can allow you to keep track of important client details, and device syncing can help you recover lost information in the case of a broken device.

Cons

It’s best used with limited groups of people — like close clients or people you are working directly with on a project. It’s not great for large groups.

I have used Google Contacts for over two years to manage client lists and daily communication streams. As a central repository for individual email and phone information, it is remarkably dependable and fast. The search bar finds exact records instantly, and the ability to assign customized labels makes light work of filtering contacts by project or priority. Where it shines most is its zero-friction integration with the broader Google ecosystem—drafting emails in Gmail or scheduling Calendar events pulls up contact details seamlessly. However, teams looking for a full-featured CRM or seamless native contact-sharing across separate user accounts will hit limits quickly. While it handles baseline database tasks exceptionally well, managing shared team directories usually requires external Workspace permissions or dedicated integration tools. Overall, it is an outstanding, cost-effective daily driver for small teams and solo professionals who need clean, reliable contact management

Pros

Simple organization via Labels: Allows quick grouping and basic segmentation without cluttering the primary view. I also really liked Instant cross-device syncing,Changes made on mobile or desktop reflect immediately across all logged-in Google Workspace devices.

Cons

The Duplicate clutter, Auto-saving email addresses can quickly accumulate incomplete or temporary contacts if not cleaned regularly using the "Merge & fix" tool. Another frustrating problem i had was No native contact sharing lacks built-in, granular list-sharing controls for team members without relying on Google Workspace delegation or third-party add-ons.

Overall, my experience with Google Contacts has been excellent. It makes managing coworkers, clients, and leads simple, while the labels and Gmail integration make email management effortless. It’s also been a great tool for sales management by helping me keep contacts organized and easy to access. I haven’t needed to contact customer support because everything has worked so well, but based on my experience with Google’s other products, I’m confident their support is just as reliable. Google has always been easy to work with.

Pros

If you manage a lot of contacts, Google Contacts is worth using. My favorite feature is being able to organize everyone with labels and find exactly who I need in seconds. Everything stays backed up and synced, which makes managing business relationships so much easier.

Cons

I honestly don’t have any cons to mention. Google Contacts has met all of my expectations and has worked exactly as I hoped. It’s been reliable, easy to use, and has helped me stay organized without any issues. I haven’t experienced any problems or limitations during my time using it, so I don’t have any constructive criticism to provide at this time.

My over all experiance has been positive. It has been helpful with organizing, optimizing contacts for business purposes.

Pros

The integration and use of other google products are seemingly effortless. Great for marketing and advertising through email, text messaging or even calling.

Cons

It can get confusing if you have more than one gmail account. Having to constantly be aware of what google account your contacts are backing up to. Can be a pain.

My overall experience with Google Contacts has been very positive. It is a reliable, user-friendly platform that simplifies contact management and enhances communication efficiency across teams and devices. The seamless integration with Gmail, Google Workspace, and mobile applications ensures that contact information remains up to date and easily accessible wherever work is being conducted.

Pros

What I liked most about Google Contacts is its simplicity, reliability, and seamless integration across the Google ecosystem. As a Senior Executive, having immediate access to accurate contact information across devices is essential, and Google Contacts makes this effortless. The platform automatically syncs contacts in real time, making collaboration and communication more efficient. I particularly appreciate its intuitive interface, powerful search functionality, and the ability to organize contacts using labels and groups. The duplicate management feature helps maintain a clean and accurate database, while integration with Gmail, Google Workspace, and mobile devices streamlines daily business operations. Overall, Google Contacts is a dependable and user-friendly solution that enhances productivity and ensures important professional relationships are easily accessible whenever needed.

Cons

While Google Contacts is highly effective for basic contact management, it has some limitations for larger organizations and enterprise users. The customization options for contact fields are somewhat limited compared to dedicated CRM platforms, making it challenging to capture more detailed business-specific information. Additionally, advanced reporting, analytics, and relationship management capabilities are minimal. Another drawback is that managing large volumes of contacts can become cumbersome, especially when multiple teams need structured access controls or shared contact ownership. Occasionally, contact synchronization issues across devices or third-party applications can occur, requiring manual troubleshooting.

Google Contacts is reliable and I use it as my basis for storage of all of my contact information. It survives any and all of my phone service changes and works well with iPhone, Android, etc.

Pros

I have used Google Contacts as my accumulator for all of my contacts for over a decade. The value is excellent compared to any other service. It is very intuitive to use. It is easy to connect to any CRM system used in email marketing. It works seamlessly with my email system and the speed is second to none as there is no delay in my sent emails as with many enterprise email servers. I use my CRM integrally with my contacts for lead management and follow up management.

Cons

I have no cons after using the system for over a decade. Many contact systems are not compatible with others - this one works across the board with any system I have used.

My overall experience with Google Contacts has been good. It does what it says and says what it does.

Pros

super easy and i love that it integrates with my gmail account. I also like that it integrates well with my google calendar and syncs to my iphone. Super cheap. Customer support i've never had to worry about. Lead management is good because contacts are added automatically. For sure makes email management easy. Performance and speed is reliable.

Cons

I only wish it natively synced with my ServiceM8 crm, but i can just make zap for that. Or maybe a direct webhook.
