Their customer service is great, with knowledgeable employees willing to assist, and their response times for assistance are fast. Their products have helped streamline our workflows, saving time and money in the long run. Pros Although not every feature we subscribe to is available directly within the main"Foundation" platform, they provide easily integrable solutions for all our needs. All the solutions are very easy to use and can be learned quickly. The launch process for each of the products we use was done step-by-step with a dedicated transition manager, and we never felt like we were left in the dark. Their customer service is impeccable. Cons Although there are many customizable features within many of the Foundation products, I do wish there were some additional options available. However, they do offer the ability to submit suggestions about changes, which are tallied and prioritized for potential future buildouts. As of now it can take them 1 hour to 2 days to call me back. When they do call me back if I am unavailable to answer the phone and try to call back they will have moved on to the next issue. This makes it very difficult to get in touch. It would be easier if I received an email back or a call back window so I know to expect their call. Pros I like that everything I need for business integrates into the Foundation program. The app is very upfront and user friendly. Cons I do not like that you have to keep purchasing apps to do more things. I wish everything like HR-HQ, Workmax, Connectmax, etc were all inside of Foundation. It is not the most user friendly software I have used but with time learning the software I think it is a very capable product and will get the job done. Pros For general operating questions customer support is good responding and assisting. It seems to be a good value for the cost. Cons It definitely has a learning curve. One year in and I still struggle to find the information needed at times. It can be hard to find the reports needed for a task. We have been trying to write some custom extracts for PM's the Owner and it can be hard to get support for those projects. Many software's will have a community of users were they will share some of the "custom" extracts/projects they have created. I do not see that sharing community here. The ease of transition was smooth. The continued offering of new products that integrate with Foundation to expand the ease of managing our company's data. Pros Value for money. Ease of use. Very user friendly even a new employee with little experience friendly. Cons Newer products like SafetyHQ & HRHQ don't sync well together. Wish new products utilize same data for users so there isn't any conflicts for users needing to access both. I appreciated the thoughtful explanations and the ability to have one of the assistants available to help push me through to the next step. Pros The instructors did a good job of making the material comprehensible and thoroughly explaining the concepts. I feel like the included some cool tips that otherwise wouldn't be known and allowed for me to leave the conference with a new confidence level to be able to produce different reports. Cons The workshop day could have been more small group work and a chance to get one of the instructors to help make a specific report or style rather than going through the generic ones we did the other days. I am able to document all of the accounting processes that I need to produce monthly and yearly financial statements Pros Foundation is a complete system for construction accounting with good processes for documenting contracts, change orders, pay applications, invoices, customer payments and subcontractor bills. We can manage our job billing and subcontractor payments over as many months or years as we need. Cons I would like to see more information available on accounts payable reports, specifically to see the vendor name in general ledger history detail reports of expense accounts. I've learned so much about not only the software but the business because of it. The customer service is excellent. Pros I like that all your administrative processes can happen in one place; receivables, payables, and payroll with those areas also posting to the job costing module without double entries. I like the information given and the forms available. I think it has included capabilities we aren't even utilizing yet. I also like that it's tailored to highway contractors and the extra reporting needed on those projects. Cons Ease of use. It definitely takes time to learn and understand. Especially the implications of checking or not checking something. I feel it could be a little more user friendly. Pros Customer support is quick and super helpful. ITs a very easy system to learn and view. Very easy to access information both cost tracking and how to do things. Invoicing is very flexible to match our needs. Billings and payments provide options both internally and 3rd party to make it super easy to use. Great value for the money Cons Currently support is only via phone call, would be helpful to get emails answers for simple questions.
