Pros

Foundation offers good phone support. It has very detailed and thorough reports. Make tax compliance easier.

Cons

The time it takes to enter an AP invoice. It would be helpful to have a quick entry for receipt entries.

Overall, it has been good. It is a robust software and caters to the majority of our needs. I think a few bugs need to be fixed, but other than that I am pretty happy.

Pros

Customer Support is amazing. They will answer your call with a polite dispatcher who will then forward your call to the relevant team. The support technicians are always great and knowledgable

Cons

Has a few bugs that don't ever seem to get fixed. For example, scrolling across multiple pages is a pain and doesn't really work.

### "A+ Customer Service & Product"

Customer service is A++++. If I ever have issues or questions, they are there to help and guide me through the problem. I love Foundation and how easy it is to use.

Pros

Foundation has come a long way since we implemented it many years ago. They are coming out with new and better modules that each company uses already and needs to speak to each other. Having multiple software programs in one place is such a huge help.

Cons

Sales/use tax tracking & the AR side are my least favorite. I think each could be easier to use with more features.

### "Good Product, easy to use, lack of user-friendly report writer, integration with Procore is not good"

Good product and easy to use, but it lacks a user-friendly report writer for creating meaningful custom reports.

Pros

Easy to learn and use, with all the essential functions we need to get the job done. Customer support has been responsive and helpful.

Cons

Customer service used to be responsive and included at no extra cost, but now it’s shifting toward fee-based training and support. The built-in Report Writer is not robust enough to generate meaningful reports. Integration with Procore is not reliable.

My overall experience is positive! I look forward to hopefully learning and moving to the cloud version and not our current in-house server based version.

Pros

I find the platform very intuitive. Everything is just about where you'd expect it to be. Learning curve when first being introduced to the program, but once you get the hang of everything, you're rolling.

Cons

I don't really have any complaints about Foundation. It helps my company stay on track and I personally use it for onboarding new employees into our system.

I really liked how well-organized everything was and how much I learned, as it made collaborating with my team much smoother and more effective.

Cons

I’m not sure if it’s the internet or the system, but sometimes it suddenly kicks me out, and I have to log back in again, which can be a bit frustrating.

I really like the Customer service. It has always been fantastic. They are responsive and knowledgeable! Great training.

Cons

The system is not a great HRIS. Queries are confusing. Attaching documents can be difficult and a learning curve.

Positive. The year end classes are beneficial. Sometimes the cost, is a hinderance from being more employees on to train.

Pros

The optional applications that can be purchased. The prompt response time from the customer service team. Correspondence with customer service team is always positive and they are a great educational tool for use of FOUNDATION.

Cons

My biggest dislike with FOUNDATION is that I have found minimal training tools for use of the PAYROLL function. It takes many, many steps to process a p\[ayroll and we, our office, has been working on a how to book for payroll processing.

### "Unhappy with P4C customer service"

I hate to let recent events shadow my view of my overall experience ... but unfortunately it has. It will take considerable time for me to rebuild any trust that the people at P4C are even the least bit concerned about their customers. I have always spoke in support of Foundation with our owner, but not sure if that will continue.

Pros

Over the past 10 years I have had decent confidence in Foundation and P4C to fulfill our needs, and had received good customer service.

Cons

I feel the reporting side of Foundation could be better. The data is all there and it shouldn't be so difficult to get reporting formatted better.

My overall experience has been great. There is a learning curve to the software, but once you are in the groove, it is very intuitive.

Pros

FOUNDATION has many features that helps our concrete company excel and grow in our area. I like most the accuracy of the accounts payable aging schedule.

Cons

FOUNDATION is usually great, but sometimes it can be a little slow to load. I can become hard to enter in multiple invoices, when there is a delay with each one.

All has been good, having to wait for a call back for help and it takes 1 or 2 is the hardest part when you need help now and you have to wait all that time.

Pros

Processing Payroll, AP, & AR were easy to learn.

Cons

The fact that you have to reverse mistakes and un-post, would be great if it were as easy as Quick Books when making corrections to transactions.

Pros

I like that is so customizable. From accounts payable, accounts receivable, Payroll, and all the payroll reports.

Cons

I wish they had live chat instead of log a call. Also, since most of my issues are payroll related, I wish I didn't have to call Foundation to get my call prioritized.

It's very easy to customize some aspects of employee reports and input information fields that are needed

Cons

I wish there were ways to customize per job ie: job based travel pay. It takes calls and tutorials to figure out some basic things. It would be nice if you could put ACA codes in and have it track automatically through the year

It has not been all terrible but as stated it does have some handicaps. It does get the job done but I feel like it just does the basics.

Pros

Foundations is easy to navigate. Everything needed to complete your workday is right in front of you creating no need for unnecessary searching. Foundation is user friendly and new employees can pick up easily.

Cons

I wish you could drill down further when searching. I do think some reports could use adjusting to include more details. Corrections should be able to be done on every level and with foundations that is not the case.
