Pros

Oracle helps keep our data secure and stored in an organized manner. It’s easy to use and customizable

Cons

It’s a little bit complex but has so many features and options which makes the software so great. Just need to be a bit tech savvy

The overall experience was positive as it did what my company needed to transfer our data and storage over.

Pros

My company was able to transfer their money easily to databricks by uploading files to the server and moving them over to databricks.

Cons

The process was a bit slower using Oracle to transfer over to databricks and we had to keep manually going back in.

Pros

It still has support for more legacy systems and companies who are not necessarily in the tech space but use cloud systems to keep maintaining older systems. Has a really good cost for compute, good database systems.

Cons

Doesn't have all the features and functionalities for newer technologies compared and doesn't have more managed services.

Overall, very simple to use and follow along, I wish that reports could be worked out a bit more to show day-to-day breakdowns instead of just a sum of all days together.

Pros

Pretty simple to use overall and very straight to the point when collecting data, makes things easy to visualize trends in sales from day to day.

Cons

On occasions, I have had the program lag and/or crash when loading up. Kind of don't like it when it comes to looking at information; you have to wait an extra day before plugging information in. Granted, not sure if it's the program itself or waiting on the POS system to update...

OCI offers powerful instances with high IOPS, low latency, and great networking performance, making it ideal for workloads like databases and AI/ML.

Pros

OCI often provides better pricing, especially for network egress (outbound data transfer), which is significantly cheaper.

Cons

OCI’s network egress pricing is attractive, setting up VCNs, routing, and hybrid connectivity can be more complex than AWS VPCs.
