I recommend Leadpages to others for these reasons. Pros Leadpages is so easy to use. I'm NOT a techie and Leadpages allows me to create landing pages in less than 5 minutes. I also created a page that is like link-tree which is on my company's Instagram profile. I liked creating my own because I found link-tree to be fussy sometimes and would randomly stop working. Never had a problem with my leadpage one though! Pros I find this software super easy to use and functional. It does what I need it to do and the more I use it, the more little tricks and design things I figure out that make my materials POP. I love the tool that examines the lead to give advice on what I can make better (the lead optimizer tool). That's super helpful and informative. I'm the only one on my team that uses leadpages. I feel like I get to get feedback on my materials before I go live with something. And I LOVE that I can easily refresh my updates/publish and I don't have to update a link anywhere. I can quickly make changes with push of a button! Cons Sometimes I design a page and when I go to preview it, the aspect ratios have changed and I have to go back in and redesign. For instance, a header logo with some text below it may fit perfectly within the box at the top of the page. When I preview it, the logo/text doesn't optimize for the new window (like phone or tablet) and I have to keep resizing to figure out what will fit. To me there should be a standard width of frame that will auto-fix the size when changing to phone or tablet. It would be nice to also have more drag and drop functionality. Like that an image would fit ANYWHERE in a section I create (like wix or weebly does with their websites). Sometimes I have to do a lot of pre-design art work when I'm creating something. And then it doesn't even allow for a text box to fit where I want it to. Reason for choosing Leadpages I was recommended Leadpages when I said I was looking for something other than Mailchimp and when I tried it, never really looked for something else! Easy to remember. Pleasant demeanor of their support staff, but they "couldn't find" my ccount when I asked to cancel, and then continued to charge me for 2 years. Pros What I liked the most were the templates, the ease of publication, the easy editing and the a/b test. Cons What I liked least was that in some things although you should be able to do them, the modification of templates failed, the gallery seemed good but limited. Although if what you want is to automate and more complex things may seem somewhat limited. I use it daily to support my business, but more importantly I use it to sell my copywriting and design services as a contractor and consultant. As such, I’ve worked with a ton of other page builders. While a few (like unbounce) have caught my attention with their cool widgets and mobile builders, I always come back to Leadpages because of the great price, fantastic support and knowledge that the product team is always putting out new things. Also, Leadpages is just so simple to use! Pros My favorite thing about Leadpages is that the product is always being updated with new, helpful features. Since the reorganization of the dashboard, it is very user friendly and intuitive. For the most part, all of the major functional features I need to make high converting pages are there. I love how easy integrations are, and I absolutely LOVE that I can copy sections, use section templates and easily alter page templates to my liking. Cons I have been saying for years now that there needs to be more functionality for images. An on page image resizer would be fantastic. It would also be very helpful to be able to insert image carousels. I would also love to see a separate mobile builder. Design is very important when it comes to conversions, and I think some of the most wanted features are missing. You can also brand color and logo all your pages. Cons The cost was a bit high for what I was going to use it for plus it took a little time to learn. If you were doing more sales pages with higher volume sales it would be really useful. I also wish it was easier to customize the exact layout/size of things. 9/10 we can make it work, but occasionally we want something really specific and cannot get there with lead pages. Custom branding is totally in our control. Stable - doesn't tend to glitch like some I've used. Sticky bars/extra features are nice to include. Fields can be mapped from URL data for advanced connections Cons Having to place my google tracking codes in EVERY page is annoying. Also lacks multi-step forms which we find to be more effective when we need to collect more than 2-3 fields of data. Took them until last month to include the ability to search your image library (finally can but like, come on that's basic). Pros My favorite part about Leadpages is that it helps you get things up & running quickly. Leadpages has tons of ready-to-use templates which are geared toward online businesses. So, whether you are looking for Lead Generation Templates, Sales Pages, Thank You Pages, or even 404 pages; they have templates for all. This makes creating pages easier, as you kind of the base demo copy in the page template as well. Another thing I like is, that you can push UTM code data to your CRM integration (e.g. Keap) using field mapping when creating opt-in forms in Leadpages. They had all the good stuff that was hard to find elsewhere. But now competitors offer more or similar features for better prices. Personally I wouldn't choose them again, but would consider as an option. Pros Quick to set up with ready to go templates that were tested for high conversions. It has affiliate program, so you may be able to refer someone and have it pay for itself. Includes good tutorials and internet marketing knowledge. Cons Leadpages stayed behind competition. A few other apps offer much more now for less price. Monthly payments are disliked by me, the pricing could be more related to traffic numbers. We have been able to increase our yearly sales on Facebook over 400% using Leadpages and Drip. I use the drag and drop builder on a daily basis and love the ease of being about to switch things and test new things at the drop of a hat. Their customer support is off the chains as well. Any time I have questions they are more than happy to help, check out our lead pages and offer suggestions, and make sure we are getting the best experience possible. Now that it is an integration, I use the feature 50 times a day between my accounts and client accounts. LeadDigits has been my long-time favorite feature. Pros I dont like leadpages as they have poor refund policies. Cons I have recently noticed that my account was charged for 444$ on 14th april 2023, but I never authorized or used your services since I signed up.I was not aware that the payment was set to automatically renew, and I was surprised to see the transaction today. Upon further investigation, I found out that the same amount was charged to my account last year without my knowledge.As a customer, I believe it is unfair to be charged for a service that I did not use or authorize. You will run into needing help and the knowledge desk is very good at step by step guidance. Cons I can't understand why I don't have the capacity to edit the lead list. We'll use our own emails to test pages and then those leads are stuck on the list forever. I want the ability to edit that list as we grow. It's simple to pick up and start creating a page from the very first try. Easy to integrate with other platforms (especially Drip), with a drag and drop WYSIWYG editor and design options. Cons If there was one thing I would ding it for, it would be that it doesn't have a surplus of options when you are designing your pages; they lean towards the minimalistic side. However, remember this is aimed at beginner to intermediate users. I think advanced users would might get frustrated at times and want a greater degree of control. Also, the WYSIWYG editor tends to create rather rigid pages, often with too much or too little negative space between elements and not a lot of obvious ways to control or edit that. Leadpages is one of the most valued tools in my small business arsenal. Cons (Very) Occasionally I may get stumped on an integration or other tech issue. Pros What I like most about LeadPages is that it integrates with tons of other applications. It's easy to use and I can build professional-looking landing pages quickly. Also, In addition to landing pages, I can build pop-ups, trackable phone numbers, and other call-to-action items to increase conversions as well. Cons What I like least about LeadPages is that it needs to be partnered with a CRM in order to be fully useful.
