" March 31, 2018 3.0 Pros This is a great solution for many companies and entrepreneurs. The price is better than other options and they boast a large template library. Additionally the platform works with a lot of various integrations and that makes it very attractive. Yet still, I cannot warm to this platform. Cons I find the builder to be clunky and not easy to manipulate designs and placements. It is a very old style and feel to the builder and does not have the responsiveness I have come to expect. I have tried to like this platform multiple times and just find it in need of some updates and a fresh user experience. I also find the pricing a bit off putting. The monthly plans are considerably higher than if paid yearly. I get the reasoning but why not earn loyalty by trusting your product enough that you don't have to discount a one year contract and stick it to a monthly plan. Some of us are startup mode and need cash flow. Loyalty is not earned over price but in Service and impeccable products. Review Source HR Heather R. The team is always there to help and we get resolution quickly if/when we have issues. It has served us very well and have not been able to find the same quality with competitors. Pros We use Leadpages to created dozens of individualized landing pages every day.... the application is extremely easy to use and navigate and the results are professional. It integrates perfectly with our other websites. Easy to use forms, opt-ins for events that are tracked and easy to export in excel format. Even the links retain our company's main URL. Cons We upload TONS of photos and would love to see more of an image library of our own imports that we can organize. It would save tons of time on our end. Stopped using the service for ages and they kept charging me for 10 months. They are really sneaking and they have bad business practices. They didn't even notify me (or email me) that I was getting charged. I had not idea they were taking money out of my account. I believe (in my opinion) that this is a tactic so you just let charges slip. The website service is basic and pretty amateur. You cant' design anything good with the site. Stay away Pros the service let's you get a basic site done with no code. Cons they have questionable billing practices. If I need to get a clients' landing page up quickly and feel good about the conversion rate and user experience, I know LeadPages is the software for me. Pros LeadPages allows you to quickly create beautiful landing pages that really do convert. The interface is so user-friendly that you new high-conversion landing page will be ready quicker than you could ever expect! Cons The only downside is that there is a limit to the customization due to the amount of widgets offered. Other page builders (plugins or WP themes) have tons of add ons you can use for countdown tickers, flip boxes, sophisticated galleries, etc. Switched from [Unbounce](https://www.capterra.com/p/145639/Unbounce/) LeadPages was easier to use which made creating great landing pages a quick and easy task. It's simple to pick up and start creating a page from the very first try. Easy to integrate with other platforms (especially Drip), with a drag and drop WYSIWYG editor and design options. Cons If there was one thing I would ding it for, it would be that it doesn't have a surplus of options when you are designing your pages; they lean towards the minimalistic side. However, remember this is aimed at beginner to intermediate users. I think advanced users would might get frustrated at times and want a greater degree of control. Also, the WYSIWYG editor tends to create rather rigid pages, often with too much or too little negative space between elements and not a lot of obvious ways to control or edit that. It's one of my go-to recommendations for business owners who want to take squeeze page and landing page creation to the next level, rather than just having "just another page on the website." Pros From the beginning, Leadpages was easy to implement, and it integrated comfortably with our CRM system, Infusionsoft (that was really important for us). When I first started using it, I relied on the templates, which were fantastic and produced great results for us. As we grew, Leadpages added a drag and drop builder that hit our need for a greater level of customization. What I really appreciate having is pages built on a system that I understand and that aren't coded from the ground up. It means we can scale easily and aren't tied to a particular web developer. Cons The most annoying part was that you could "hide" sections on templates but you would still need to fill out the action set for buttons that were hidden. Also, on those rare occasions when a solution is not instantly obvious (my 'duh' moments!), Leadpages SUPPORT is spot-on with rapid response. Leadpages is one of the most valued tools in my small business arsenal. Cons (Very) Occasionally I may get stumped on an integration or other tech issue. It really is! But is it worth the asking price in this day and age where there's so many great alternatives that do it for a fraction of the price? Pros Leadpages is the easiest lead generating add-on for any business. It's super simple to use, has a lot of design options and conversion stats, and also gives you a lot of templates so you never feel lost. Building landing pages is super easy. What I like about Leadpages is that it really defined what a good lead generating platform should look/feel like. It's a really solid product. Cons Leadpages has become really expensive for what it does. I've been recommending to a lot of my clients to switch to something that can do what Leadpages does but at a fraction of the price. What it was doing was a really novel thing a few years back, it's now become the standard in many other platforms. For example, Divi, the drag-and-drop visual editor for Wordpress - has a leadpages-esque opt-in component built right in... and it's part of the package! Review Source Greg D. Pros What I like most about LeadPages is that it integrates with tons of other applications. It's easy to use and I can build professional-looking landing pages quickly. Also, In addition to landing pages, I can build pop-ups, trackable phone numbers, and other call-to-action items to increase conversions as well. Cons What I like least about LeadPages is that it needs to be partnered with a CRM in order to be fully useful. It is a drag and drops tool. Here I can easily make high converting landing page within minutes. I can add many types of functions like popup, Alert bar, for high conversion. You can make a simple website with a free domain for 1 year which is perfect for beginner marketers or businesses. Cons While is using it. I did have a few questions about integrating it with mailchimp, but I was able to work around that with support‘s help. Pros The free, pre-tested templates make building a landing page very easy. The WP plugin allows me to integrate with my website easily. Cons Their templates aren't customizable enough, and their builder for making your own from scratch is clunky & slow. Pros Before Leadpages, if I needed a landing page—especially one that was built as such to convert leads—I would have had to go to my web developer and get in his queue. That would take as long as a week. Now, I can pop one out in less than an hour and have it integrate with my CRM without any help from anyone else. I used leadpages often for hosting webinars, live classes, and opt in forms off my website. It worked for what I needed; however, I ended up cancelling. Cons It's very expensive for what the features are, considering I can do a lot of what I need on my own website or within my email marketing system. I often didn't like traffic being directed off my site for things, however, I guess with large volume traffic this could be necessary. They also add new pages quite regularly. a comprehensive help section helps get you started and a good community is available to answer questions as you go along. Landing page? check. Build your website? Check. Integrate your facebook ads? Check. Usability skews more toward the team plans, and it's not cheap, but it's a solid product that's made by people who are still innovating rather than getting complacent. Cons Most of the templates are kind of mid 2000s looking, and the custom builder is awkward. You're limited with what widgets can go where, so you can't just design whatever you imagine. The landing pages concept was new to me a few years ago so it took sometime to use it to its potential but once I did, leadpages was there with integration options and live event options. I’m not sure how expensive other platforms are for comparison but I’m totally happy with leadpages and what they’ve built to stay current and offer the best product. If it had all the features that click funnels did, and if it was recommeded by the mentorship prgram i was in, I probably would have kept it. Pros it was fairly easy to use. Was the first landing page software i started to work with and had used for a 1 or 2. good to use and start out with when you are new to tech. Cons the price could be better for what you are getting. when i had it-the low tier was 50 dollars canadian, and i think you could only build 3 landing pages, then you would have to get the next tier feature if you wanted more than one landing page.
