For someone who is impatient, this just works! Cons Takes up so much RAM, so it can slow down my computer when I use it. I'm on a MacBook Pro, so I can't imagine how it would run on slower Macs. A Mac app would be great to make "offline" changes and then commit later? I was able to create not just a landing page but an entire site within an hour. It also allows for simple A/B testing. I am not web developer, but was able to create a professional site without having to code. The design choices and templates are top quality. Cons The site feature is sort of in BETA mode, with some minor limitations on functionality, but Leadpages introduces new features monthly. I have seen the product grow over time. Leadpages presales and postsales support are great and are the main reason I choose this product. Also, a variety of choices and ease of use are considerable. I find particularly helpful that you get an overall performance of your Leadpage od an Add measured and scored, and you can work on it to improve. Pros It is a tool for most of your lead capturing needs. It is easy to use and it is updated often with new features. It has different payment plans that will fit most users. Cons The only thing I would like to mention is that if you do not have a large number of adds to make, it is a bit expensive. The team makes improvements regularly. I wish it was easier to access timely customer support. Pros ONCE YOU LEARN it, which for me took a while, then it can become a very powerful tool and resource. Over the years, the team has added lots of ways to make it easier on the user end to access different functionality, and it's become more simple to use. There's lots of versatility built into the program, which is great. Cons There are some glitches and irritating little issues here and there that persist and require workarounds. The analytics is kind of weak, especially on the lower tiers. And I definitely wish that access to customer support was quicker and easier. There are plenty of better options to try. Pros Nothing really - their service promises a lot, but it's horribly painful to use compared to even something like strikingly (which is not really made for landing pages). Cons There is very little flexibility and they are designed with specific kinds of businesses in mind. It's hard to make any major changes in the layout or user experience. The worst is their support. I forgot to cancel, and they charged me even after 1 month of no usage. No biggie, I just requested them to cancel and refund - since their software has not been useful for me. Their reply "We at leadpages do not offer refunds". Thank you very much. They also promised "review your page" service for free for paid customers - never got that even after I requested a review twice (when I was in the paid month). Why promise something that you can't deliver?! Reason for choosing Leadpages I thought pricing was better. Big mistake. Review Source SB Shay B. Cons Initially, I felt some of the pages were dated. What you design and configure and put on your site will require continued Leadpages payments to keep working. If you need to create landings pages for your website, SEO, SEM, Social campaigns, this is a great option. It is easy to use and highly customizable. We use it all the time for split testing of our paid campaigns, and the insights have been huge. The conversion tracking is a great part of the data set that we use to make strategic decisions. Pros I love the landing pages for opt-ins, blog post opt-ins, and sales page builders and use them regularly. Of all the blogging products I pay for, this one is my favorite because with it I get a return on my investment very quickly every month. I love the consistent sales I am able to earn through Leadpages. Cons I had a mostly good experience with Leadpages. I wish there was an easier way to connect it to my Woocommcerce store and collect sales, I had trouble with that so opted not to do it that way. Pros The main reason I use Leadpages is to capture email leads. I love how easy the design interface is to use. I designed an e-mail newsletter opt-in with a lead magnet. I was easily able to attach my PDF free download and integrate it to Mailchimp. Cons I wish it was easy to integrate software like Calendly, for appointment scheduling lead pages. President Marketing and Advertising Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "The go-to platform for high-converting landing pages" August 25, 2020 5.0 Leadpages allows me to create high converting landing pages fast and efficiently! They are easy to create and implement and provide great data insights to compare against other landing pages I've created. Pros I love how easy Leadpages is for users - literally anyone can use it with little to no training at all! The templates are easy to deploy and customize (I do wish there were a few more in certain categories to choose from, but there are still great options). It literally walks you through each step and is easy to use existing templates you've created again and again. You can choose how much detail you want to add for the backend and can go fine tune quite a lot which a like. The pages load super fast which was my main reason for initially signing up. Very impressed and I already recommend it to others often! Cons I wish there were a few more customizable template options in certain categories (ie. webinars with hosts etc.) and I find the image loading tool a bit clunky (you have to manually resize before uploading as there is no way to auto customize it once loaded to match the look of other images that are similar). I find it hard for instance to match more than one host image if they are different orientations, even when putting them in a circle frame for instance. The alignment and sizing don't always jive so I have to resize on my own. Small potatoes overall, but still worth improving for future versions. Cons Their new drag and drop feature is a bit clumsy and harder to use. Leadpages became famous for their ease of use and simplicity, they are going in the wrong direction with drag and drop. Pros Extremely easy to use, navigation is simple and user-friendly. Some features have been improved or were added over time. It's now possible to copy blocks from one landing to another. Customer support is usually helpful. Easy to publish landings in WordPress. Cons A/B testing still has some issues (stats is not saved after the test is over). It is a dream for educators because it is so fast and easy. Pros I am a novice, English teacher background with NO MARKETING, BRANDING, CODING OR TECH KNOWLEDGE, outside of Google Docs, their variety of tutorials ranging from 2 minutes to 2 hours make it so accessible. I was able to understand KEY VOCABULARY in a matter of minutes and have my launch page and squeeze page on my site, promoting my weekly webinar in a matter of minutes. I am so grateful in how user-friendly it is and how efficient it makes me as a educator! Cons Truth, I don't have any right now. I am not ready to learn more than what I know, the drag and drop templates are more than enough curriculum for me to digest for the next few months, if anything, I wish I had more time to understand the full capacity but in terms of ease of use, it is amazing. I have used it at two different companies and have loved the experience. It is so easy to use. We got tired of having to contract devs to build our company website and are just using leadpages to do it instead. Pros I really love how easy it is to spin up landing pages. I’ve been able to test a number of product ideas by just spinning up a test and sending it to my customers. We have the marketing extension of hubspot and still use leadpages because the quality of our pages is significantly higher. Cons The integration with hubspot forms is pretty hard to use. I haven’t been able to make it work. If I need a hubspot form, I just use their landing page builder instead and sacrifice design.
