The process of designing and building pages was overly complicated and involved too many delays. Once I discovered LeadPages, I realized that I could easily create landing pages whenever I need them. Pros I was able to pick it up very easily and create my first landing page quickly. There are lots of great options for the forms and interactions. The pre-built designs offer a breadth inspirational and practical starting points. Good options for fonts and other style elements. The methodology and instructions for setting up the page on my own subdomains is clear and straightforward. Cons Some of the layout elements are a bit awkward and take some getting used to. But once you experiment with the different options you can get accustomed to it. It is very nice being able to choose from many great templates and customize them for specific project needs. Cons Honestly, it is the price. The software is very capable of accomplishing what I needed and I didn't have any issues with it. It does what it needs to do and it does it very well. I was just able to find another service for cheaper. Reason for choosing Leadpages The simplicity and ease of use. Also, I did like the templates and the customizations even though I ran into some design layout issues. I just wanted it to look a different way but couldn't make it happen due to the software limitations. Cons Customizing your entire landing page can become a bit more complicated than you think. Although it appears that this should be a simple DIY landing page system, you sometimes have to get into the code to make updates. Not ideal with people with no HTML experience. It does integrate with major email marketing platforms and it's pretty much a no-brainer if you need a quick opt-in or webinar registration page. Would love to see great flexibility in styling for the price. Pros Leadpages is great for creating simple landing pages on the fly. Leadpages has most of the major integrations you'd seek - WordPress, Mailchimp, etc. Cons The offered templates are too few and your landing page will be reminiscient of every other Leadpages landing page in use (there are many). I only use the drag and drop versions because I like the flexibility; it's a little bit of a frustrating tool (the objects aren't super-responsive, and it can take awhile to position and size them as you want), but the output is decent. Knowing there is somebody friendly who knows what they are doing to help you makes a huge difference. Pros Landing pages is a very straight forward drag and drop builder. You can get started easily and have a great looking landing page in just a couple of minutes. If you are stuck for ideas they have lots of templates to give you inspiration.
