Overall, I am impressed with this company and plan to continue using their services. They are extremely receptive and responsive to issues and suggestions.

Pros

I really enjoy using Theraplatform as a scheduling, billing, and video session platform. As a speech therapist, I appreciate their constant improvement and responsiveness to questions and suggestions. It's easy to use and I can customize forms and notes, and add resources for use in sessions.

Cons

I would like improvements in the cancellations and deletions of appointments. I should be able to cancel or delete "this and all future appointments" without impacting past completed sessions.

Pros

It's simple to use and I rarely have any issues with the telehealth feature, which is what I use most often. Clients get automated reminders and can self-schedule, which are very important features to me. Overall it's a good product.

Cons

Setting up my availability can be a bit tedious, since I might have some changes and if I delete one date of availability, it deletes all future dates as well.

It has been fine. I wish they were more updated in their features, but we are making do with what they provide. They have a platform for "suggestions" and if those suggestions get enough support, they will implement them.

Pros

This is the main company that owns our current EMR system. It provides features for OT/ST/PT which is what we need and offers a comprehensive telehealth feature. It is easy to use and easy to understand.

Cons

The included form creator, is not that great. It is not customizable in any way except for the wording on the forms. The customer service team is almost never available and you have to wait for a response via email or sit on hold forever by calling.

The thing i like most about TheraPlatform is that it is very easy to use even for the people who are not very comfortable with technology. they can easily log in and join without any problem.

I think the monthly fee is a bit expensive. and some times the video may freeze when the internet is not strong.

Great experience with all of my expectations met. I appreciate so much about what the platform provides!

Pros

I appreciate that I am able to have my own logo on the screens, setting up is simple especially with the online tutorials to explain, they are often updating things to improve the system, and I love that telehealth doesn't cost me anything extra in any of the plans. I have been on the basic plan for almost 3 years and I am very fulfilled with all of my needs while running my own professional private practice. I also like the set up of the invoices and it is simple for my biller and I to work together to catch payments and insurance needs.

I can't think of anything right at this time.

Great! Works very well on my end, and clients report ease of use and quick connection as positive qualities.

Pros

I have a private practice and have been using Theraplatform since 2020! It is very easy for clients to use the platform as they receive an email and simply click on the link in the email...nothing to download! I see clients of all ages and they agree that telehealth has been easier to use than they ever imagined.

Cons

Not sure...maybe that it has more options than I use, and so I may be paying for extras...?

I enjoy it. It is easy to navigate. You can make any changes. There are no restrictions. And I love the activities provided by Theraplatform you can use on the zoom video when working with children.

Pros

You get to create your forms that are feasible

Cons

It doesn't populate the presenting problem. I use the same therapy note template for every session and would like for the presenting problem that was written in the biopsychosocial to populate in all my notes for every session. It tells the reader why the client receiving therapy.

### "TheraPlatform perfect for my small private practice"

I have used TheraPlatform for 2 1/2 years now. I feel like it is a good fit for my small private practice. I use it daily and feel that the set up is perfect. It reduces so much time trying to keep paper records. I also use the Teletherapy option which has worked well for me. I did not pay for the extra add on apps, but really didn't need to. It works well with being able to download resources and using the white board with stickers. TheraPlatform is always improving their product and they listen to suggestions from actual users. I am very pleased that I found TheraPlatform.

Pros

I loved the way the schedule looks. I am able to easily add and delete information. I love that I can send initial client consent forms and intake forms directly to my clients and receive the information back quickly for review. This platform is perfect for my small private practice and the price was right. I love that I can have access to teletherapy through TheraPlatform.

Cons

Some of the set up of adding my forms into the system was challenging. There is a learning curve (as with any new EMR) but TheraPlatform has a great customer service team that answers questions quickly. They also have a help option and video tutorials always available.

Reason for choosing TheraPlatform

I started with it and as I got to use it, realized that it fit my needs. I had thought about switching but when I compared the other options, they were more expensive. I really liked the clear schedule format and it was visually appealing to me. I invested time in watching the videos and set it all up and it worked for me so I decided not to switch. I use TheraPlatform daily and am very pleased with it.

It's a relief! Made the worst part of private practice 1000x easier!

Pros

I'm not a computer/billing pro, but this system has made the part of my practice that was burdensome, so easy! Once it's up and running, scheduling and billing is quick and easy. If I need any help, it's readily available and very helpful.

Cons

Some of the set up and reminders were more than I needed. I did learn on to disable/reconfigure.

I believe this has been one of my best business decisions, as the platform provides for appointment scheduling with reminders, virtual appointments, EHR, creating and sending invoices, and billing both clients and insurance companies, including Medicare. I highly recommend this product.

Pros

The system works seamlessly from writing notes, creating invoices, and billing clients and insurance providers, including Medicare. Support is easy to access, prompt, and generally solves any problems experienced.

Cons

It takes awhile for the system to be approved by some insurance providers. Although it is able to bill most of the major insurance companies, it doesn't provide a way to add insurance companies that are less well known.

### "Great Software in Theory"

Overall, this company attempted to blame the lack of service on the pandemic and increased traffic, but in the FB group, there were former users who and they stated the product function described was no different than before COVID19. I won't even get into how users who were on their 30-day free trial were forced into subscriptions because Theraplatform limited their access to video calls to 2 and all woke up to messages saying they need to pay to continue. I had an issue which they stated they could not duplicate. I went back and duplicated it and video recorded it for them to see. Instead of troubleshooting, they told me to remove the PRIVATE video I shared with them only since their program is proprietary. There was no comment on why their program was not responding appropriately. Also, I paid my subscription immediately since that was the only way to access custom reminders. Two days later I got an email with a coupon from "Virtual Speech Center" which I later found out is a company owned by the makers of Theraplatform. The e-mail provided a referral link (https://www.theraplatform.com/freetrial/JooEr) and a discount to Theraplatform and was encouraging users to have other users join the platform. Here's the issue - when users contacted Theraplatform about the discount code, Theraplatform said the discount is non-existent. What's also troubling is they clearly had issues with their current volume of users. Until there are some major overhauls, I wouldn't waste time

Pros

Great concept! The thought of something that therapists need and the inclusion of apps is unique to a video conferencing product.

Cons

1\. While in sessions the video and audio would go in and out, though all internet connections on both end were adequate. The session would immediately be transferred to another software and everything worked just fine. 2. Email reminders were often sent at incorrect times and also included incorrect meeting information (i.e. It's Tuesday and you schedule a meeting for Thursday, the reminder would say the Tuesday date and a totally different time than what was scheduled -- though on your calendar the scheduled time appears correctly for Thursday). 3. The feature of the attendee clicking a link to join sessions is not accurate; it requires a log in each time. 4. Tech support is THE WORST! No matter the issue, it is always the users error, even when several users are all having the same problem at the same exact time. How do I know? There is a FB group for users created by a user. 5. My clients have reported logging into the session and me not being there, though when I attempt to log in they also are not there. This happened several times in one day so I switched to using another video conferencing completely. 6. Key features on the program do not work at full capacity (i.e. screen share with mouse control) for more than 15 seconds at a time. 7. The customer service is poor. They don't read emails completely and have canned responses which are usually eluding to the user doing something incorrectly. 8. Inconsistent.
