It’s a user-friendly, intuitive platform that has simplified many of our day-to-day tasks and made coordination across our team much smoother. The features are practical and easy to navigate, and the support team is responsive and genuinely helpful. While there are areas where we see room for growth, we’re excited to see Noteable continue to evolve and add new features that will make it even more powerful for ABA clinics like ours. It’s already a strong tool—and with future updates, we believe it has the potential to become truly outstanding. Pros Noteable has been an absolute game-changer for our team. It’s incredibly easy to use—even for those who aren’t tech-savvy. Every feature does exactly what it says it will do, and there are often multiple ways to complete a task, which makes the system flexible and user-friendly. The pricing is very reasonable, especially considering how many functions are built in. We love that we can handle billing directly within the platform instead of juggling multiple systems. Their client support is fast, helpful, and genuinely supportive, and the built-in Help section is fantastic—the step-by-step video guides are clear, concise, and free from the extra filler that can make tutorials confusing. One of our favorite features is the ability to send documents for signatures through the parent portal or sign them directly in Noteable. It’s streamlined our workflow and saved us so much time. Cons While Noteable has some great features, there are several areas where the platform could really improve—especially for use in an ABA clinic setting as well as the in-home setting. One major limitation is that session notes can’t be started and saved to return to later. If you have to step away, you have to start over. It would also be helpful if BCBAs could make real-time updates to objectives/goals that RBTs can immediately see by using the update session feature, and if BCBAs could view the RBT data-entry screen while supervising, like a supervision mode and then the BCBA could see the data the RBT is inputting as they work through the session and can give feedback. Right now, it’s difficult to support staff in real time. There are also missing organizational tools that would make clinic operations much smoother, including: An intake list on the home page (like the client and assessment lists) Alerts for missed session notes based on scheduled calendar appointments (visible to both staff and supervisors) A master calendar to view and schedule all staff appointments in one place A quick-view allergy or important alerts tab to keep safety info front and center On the app side, it would be extremely helpful to have tutorial videos specifically for using the mobile app, as well as the ability for RBTs and BCBAs to write session notes directly in the app instead of having to go to the website. The security is strong (which is appreciated), but it would be great to add Face ID or a PIN login option for quicker access, especially when starting sessions on the go. The appearance is the main one. However, it will cost you money in lost patients and missed appointments because of the lack of effective calendar and scheduling services. It is not designed for a 30 patient a day provider. Ten to twelve will be optimal for an 8 hour day. Pros The field development and look of the output is superior. The ability to customize your input fields is excellent. Cons It is unusable for scheduling outpatient appointments. You will have to find another calendar service. There are no reminders. The portal is extremely primitive and is not usable for social service protected children, as an example. You will need an external system for transmitting HIPAA protected documents regularly. It requires the recipient have and disclose a cell phone. It does not have the ability to code add-on codes easily. The extra steps are extremely time consuming. Whoever designed the interface has never worked in an efficient outpatient setting. Customer support attempts to correct and help but really does not "get it" when describing needs. Names are sorted by first name with no option to sort by last name. The system does not know the difference between race and ethnicity, so every chart has errors. When there is one guardian for multiple children, each child has to have the guardian entered individually. When the phone number changes for the guardian, you will have to go in and change each individual child's chart. This will make an incredible excess of work for folks caring for foster care patients. The system has no built in system to handle middle names. I can usually figure out something I do not know by looking around (or actually looking at the instructions!) because of the simplicity (but high functionality) of the system. Cons The one issue I would like to see changed is that there is no ability to move back to other notes/sessions when I have a current form open. I have to open another tab and log into Noteable a second, third, and fourth time each time I want to review a past session with a current or other past session note page open. Definitely gives me and my employees a better way to communicate and keep up with client records, even on the go! Pros The thing I love about Noteable is that it is a system setup designed to maneuver with your company as it grows! Updates can be made by the admin Or if you feel you're not quite sure what to do you can always reach out to your partner advocate. They reply and assist you in a reasonable timeframe and they are open to scheduling a time to meet/discuss. Major perk as an owner, if an employee is terminated you are able to de-activate the account and client information is secured. This program really helped me go paperless. Cons I don't believe there was anything that I least like about Noteable. However, the navigation of the options for each document if you have to add a section or remove an area it can be tedious making sure its correct before choosing to slide yes/no or vice versa. Pros Noteable really helped me identify all the areas I lacked in when it came to data collection and progress. What you accomplish in a day is only shown by how much you have learned and who you have talked to. Cons I think the 1-10 staff pricing is a bit too high, but sensibly manageable when resources are allocated appropriately. Cons The frequent refreshing and logins can make it difficult to pull up items while in a hurry. If I’ve put my phone in my pocket even for just a moment, there’s a good chance I’ve been logged out. I've personally seen him go above and beyond for each provider I've worked with, and the treatment was no different for my agency. Pros I've used Noteable for a several years when working for other private providers in the Mental Health field and also for my own company. \[sensitive content hidden\] , has been amazing and a blessing to have in my corner. He was the contact with Noteable for the other companies I worked for, and I reached out to him immediately when wanting to start my own agency. He is very knowledgeable of the system and will walk you through the steps and send videos to assist with you navigating your site. It is always a pleasure to speak with him and get support as needed. He is also very quick to respond to emails and will work in a timely manner for any changes or updates needed to your site. I also love the lowered rates for new providers to assist them with getting started with their business. You are always able to get help from tech support which is amazing. Program Director Mental Health Care Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Game Changing Program for the ABA Field" August 26, 2021 5.0 Pros Noteable has such an intuitive, creative, and easy user interface which makes using this product (and teaching on how to use this product) such a breeze. There are so many built in features that ensure you, as a practitioner, have an easy job in managing and ensuring quality care. I love how creative I can be when planning treatment for my clients, whether it's managing behaviors or creating thorough and precise treatment objectives. I get to easily build out phases of treatment with assigned data collection, and all of my creations can instantly become reports or accessible in the app for my direct care staff. Since switching to Noteable, I have found clients and families are more actively engaged in treatment and make progress faster due to the speed and ease in which I can adjust, alter, and edit treatment needs. Additionally, families and staff more quickly and readily access graphs and can see progress each day. Having a mobile data collection app also allows for quick collaboration between the supervisor and direct staff - changes can be made quickly and progress is seen and accessible to all parties. Graphs are quickly added into monthly and quarterly progress updates with the click of a button, and Noteable also allows for quick faxing of documents to all providers with another click of a button! All the staff I work with continually rave about how easy and fun Noteable is to use - which in turn allows us all to have more fun in the work that we do. Cons Another thing I love about Noteable is how open the development team is to suggestions and feedback. Easy to track a client in the EHR when 2 ppl are assigned to the same client. 2. Ease of use. 3. Navigating is perfect! Cons 1\. Not being able to pull a report on our pay (or how they compute or pay based on work submissions in noteable.) 2. I do not like the word count..for example in completing the progress note section...there is a word count of 1300 for Interventions and 1000 for response....EKKKK! 3. Regarding the report for your pay, while Noteable houses your hours and compensation for mileage, training, etc., we do not host hourly rates in our system. All that would have to be through your payroll software. For the word count, while Noteable can restrict the word count in reports, the actual limit itself is set by your administration team. If you and your team need help editing that in Noteable, you can reach out to your partner advocate; they would be more than happy to assist. We do not have an integrated spell check in Noteable, but it should allow your browser's default spell check to work. The billing, payroll, report finder, and for review features are all used on a daily basis. The product is very easy to use once you're in and become accustom to the set up. The integration process with our company was easy especially once we had a group training. Cons There are no aspects of the product that are difficult to use. The integration process was smooth once all employees became accustomed to the layout of the site. The only thing I would change is allowing due date stops for all documentation and not just quarterly reports. It takes a very complex process and makes it simple and intuitive. Customer service is absolutely unmatched. \[sensitive content hidden\]. is phenomenal! Cons There are a few functionalities that would be great to add. Firstly, it would be a complete solution if you could simultaneously manage HR files. Of course the goal card issue with populating the initial SRA's. It could also use more flexibility with its fax capabilities.
