### "Bespoke E-Learning for Employees"

Tayl is a very effective E-Learning platform for our organisation. The ability to create courses based on the needs of the organisation is excellent. It provides great value for money and it’s simplicity makes it very easy to use. The team are responsive and helpful, open to suggestions on reasonable feature requests.

Pros

Tayl's department and location feature is great as it allows Team Leaders to be able to manage users within their location and check the individual progress of their team. Thus differentiating them from Admins who can manage everything.

Cons

A more efficient reporting system where automated emails are sent to department heads and admins on a weekly/monthly basis for course progress and due/overdue courses. Fonts restrictions on content creation (limited to 1 font). Options to embed, images or videos on a page but cannot embed sound files. Integration with other platforms such as Zapier is non existent on Zapiers list of Apps, even though it is listed on the Tayl integration page (the Tayl on Zapier is a podcast audio app). The quiz feature is limited to multiple choice or single answer (True or False), no options for fill in the blanks or match up answers.

Super, so glad we moved from a huge company to Tayl. It is great to have a single point of contact to help with any issues, and the content creation is way better than our previous supplier.

Pros

Customer support has been great, as is the value for money and ease of use. The Docs to Sign feature has been a great addition to our business.

Cons

The reporting needed work but this has been improved a lot recently. But all in all we are happy with how it's operating.

Pros

I find the platform very user-friendly with a clean, intuitive design. The team is always helpful and responsive whenever we have questions, which makes the overall experience positive. It’s also great that we can create our own courses, and the process is straightforward and easy to use. Overall it offers great value for money, especially when compared with other L&D platforms on the market.

Cons

The reporting functions are a bit limited, and some courses could benefit from updates (particularly in fast-moving areas like cyber security).

### "A Fantastic Training Platform That Has Transformed Our Training Process"

Our overall experience with Tayl has been fantastic. Before moving to Tayl, we issued training documents through our payroll app, which meant we had to design and manage all of the training courses ourselves. Tayl has made the whole process much more efficient and professional. Being able to access pre-loaded courses that are relevant to our industry and workplace is a massive help, and the fact that the training is accredited is an added bonus. The platform is easy to use, flexible and has significantly improved how we manage training across the business. We also benefit from being part of Food and Drink Scotland, which gives us discounted access to the platform. Overall, I am very happy that we moved to Tayl and I have recommended the system to some of our customers as well.

Pros

What I like most about Tayl is how flexible and user friendly the platform is. It gives us access to a wide range of pre-loaded training courses while also allowing us to create and upload our own bespoke courses and documents to suit the needs of the business. The ability for staff to complete training remotely on any device is a huge benefit and makes the whole process much more efficient and accessible. From a compliance point of view, it is also excellent when it comes to audits, as training records are easy to access, well organised and simple to present to auditors.

Cons

There is very little I dislike about Tayl, however one small criticism is that once a course or document has been issued to a member of staff, it cannot easily be removed if it is no longer required. This is only a minor issue overall and has not caused any significant problems for us.

The support team is responsive and helpful, ensuring any concerns are resolved quickly. Fab this makes my job so much easier. It is simple to use and helps me quickly track and manage staff training, keeping everything organised in one place.

Pros

Easy to use and simple to navigate, making staff training easy to track and manage for both managers and employees.

Cons

Love the training available, but it would be great to see new training added from time to time, as staff can become too familiar with the same modules when they are repeated. Having a wider variety would keep things more engaging and ensure continuous learning. It would also be helpful to have a matrix view of training, so it’s easy to see what each staff member has completed and what they still need to do at a glance.

Easy to set up new starts and everyday use. It has become out go to for all our non-practical training.

Pros

Value for money, ease of use to manage completed tasks and send reminder emails. Practical suite of courses for hospitality covering all mandatory requirements. very happy to be able to create induction pathways and set time limits for completion. Also like that it flags the overdue courses.

Cons

Sometimes difficult to figure out how to upload and manage own content. The instructions could be a little clearer, but once you figure it out it works really well. Also find it confusing that the incomplete courses are highlighted when no due date is set. Would like to be able to differentiate between those that are required and those I have added because of interest and it's up to the individual whether to complete.

My overall experience with Tayl has been positive. The online training is well structured, easy to access, and relevant to my role. Pros

What I found most beneficial about the online training delivered by Tayl was that it was clear, accessible, and easy to follow. The content was well structured and relevant to my role, allowing me to complete it at my own pace while still gaining the necessary knowledge. The training modules were engaging and supported my understanding through practical examples, which helped me apply the learning effectively in practice.

Cons

What I liked least about Tayl was that some of the online modules felt repetitive and could be more concise. At times, the content could be more interactive to maintain engagement throughout. There were also instances where the system navigation was not as straightforward as it could be, which made it slightly time-consuming to complete certain sections.

I am able to sign my staff up to online courses and track their progress. Any new starters can also take advantage of the courses and it really is a useful tool that allows me to keep track of their progress. From a due diligence point of view, I can demonstrate that my team have gone through an online training programme applicable to their roles in hospitality.

Pros

It's a one stop shop for the training of my staff which includes a good selection of courses applicable to our industry, namely hospitality.

Cons

This is all quite new for me as a business so I don't have anything to say about any cons, I can only find the pros at the moment.

I did not find it easy to remove staff who have left - but as it happens this is a feature. the staff are archived - so that if they return they will be able to return to their account

### "Frustrations with an otherwise great site"

Mixed. Whilst the concept is great the lack of ability to edit and add long videos is very detrimental to the overall experience.

Pros

I like that my team can access all their training documents in one place and that I can add video and pictures as well as text- meaning it suits differnt learning styles. I also really appreciate being able to see if my team have accessed the courses and completed them.

Cons

I wish I could edit courses. As soon as any slight change is made the course is out of date and in order to change it I have to create an entire new course and reissue it to learners. This is not only time consuming but means that it can be confusing to learners and look as if people have not accessed a course at all- when they have in fact accessed and completed it in its previous form. I would also like if longer/larger video files could be added. The size limit has changed and means I am no longer able to use video form in a way that suits our needs.

Existing learner completions remain in place while updated versions of courses are made available going forward, helping to avoid the need to completely restart learner records. Pros

The team at TAYL are incredibly helpful and provide a fast response. The courses are in depth and very interactive which has helped engage more members of staff in learning. Being able to create your own learning courses and pathways for the amount of money we are paying is incredible, it's amazing value for money compared to other learning providers that offer less but cost more.

Cons

There could potentially be more courses on offer. But TAYL is still fairly new and growing, it's just about being patient and waiting for more courses to become available.

I like that Tayl is easy to use, very straightforward trainings and easy to follow. It has different options of learning, such as visual where you can read it or vocal where you can listen to it while watching informative videos

Cons

Although it has a wide variety of trainings, I feel like they could include more. For example, privacy and dignity, different mental health topics etc.

When creating content, restrictions to change font to make them bold and stand out. restrictions on size of pictures. Playback speed of voice over starts too slow, even though you can speed it up. No translation into other languages on platform, however can translate on own device

Limited formatting tools. As a content creator, it would be good to have other formatting tools to make the training more interactive and interesting
