I signed up for a year in May, which they have already changed, and now they change the tiers and features, and video questions are no longer part of the package and now they want me to upgrade to a much more expensive plan that is more the 10x as expensive. In fact, what happened here is that there were some changes made to improve the platform and change some features. These changes were planned to come into effect at the end of the current subscription, but something happened during the release whereby they took effect immediately. This was quickly rectified, as you can see, and you will retain the features you paid for until the end of your current plan! AR Ap R. Also question bank is not enough for software tests. Pros Ease of use. Test Science has good sections and good question bank. Cons Question bank of the software language test. All candidates who are invited for a particular assessment will receive the same questions from the question bank for the tests in question. That's how we ensure fairness for candidates! It has been quite easy to setup and has become an integral part of our recruiting Pros We appreciated how easy you get define test batteries and how many modules are already available for different roles. Therefore we employed testgorilla to select pre-filter candidates as diverse as marketing, software engineering and product management. Cons I would love to see more in depth analysis on candidates individual results and what that means for the interview process. Some of the analysis seems quite generic. Reason for choosing TestGorilla I had used similar products in previous corporate roles that have been more complex to set up as well as more expensive to use, whilst they offered more finalised modeles. Their customer service provides only template responses and no solutions. We keep getting charged for it even though we have stated clearly that we want to cancel our account. With this, we can now have a clearer idea of the strengths of every candidate, and we can take more informed decisions and decide if we want to invest time and resources in continuing with the interview process with certain candidates or not. Pros The complexity of the tests, which allowed us to accurately measure aspects that otherwise we could not measure about our candidates. Cons I would have liked to get a more comprehensive summary of the results of the candidates, showing a comparison on how each candidate is doing on the different tests or sub categories within each test. I had used Criteria Corp in the past and chose TG since it was less expensive. Given the cost, I had hoped that it would give me 50% of the ease and functionality and reporting that I got from CC. In the end, I found that I got less than 10% of those attributes. It was a disappointment. Pros It was cheaper than other options. I thought that they would have good tests. Cons It was hard to use, the tests were ok. Pros The software is fairly easy to use and implement, especially if resources are limited. Cons Many of the assessments turned out to be misleading in the way they are constructed. As a result, the candidate ranking (or scores) can often turn out to be much lower than anticipated. We ran several of those assessments internally in order to compare them and we came out with the same conclusion.
