Pros MonkeyPod's platform is easy to navigate, has all the features we could want from a CRM/Fundraising Management/Accounting software. We love that they are consistently developing to make the tool even better for its users. Cons There are a few glitches, but the team is quick to address the issues and prioritize fixes. I love Monkeypod Pros I love how easy it is to use and their prices. It is great to use as a new Non-Profit Organization trying to raise funds. Cons The only con is the amount if time it takes for payments to come through the platform to your bank account. It takes a few days. " November 4, 2022 5.0 8 weeks in and it's been a breeze. The team have lived and worked in non-profits for years, they understand how difficult things are and it's a pleasure chatting to them. Conversations are filled with ideas being shared and experiences to learn from. A great team, thanks! Pros This is not just a software, it's a full service suite that enables us to manage track funds, send email campaigns, create a CRM, track donors and create meaningful budgets, keep cash flow in check and a whole lot more, specifically made for nonprofits. Forget quickbooks, this is far superior! And the price is amazing. Onboarding was super simple too. Cons None as of yet. the backend support is strong so I expect that they will be to help out when issues arrise. Pros I really enjoyed how MonkeyPod was NPO centric, which made tagging income and expenses very easy and accessible unlike software like Quickbooks were "donations" have to be categorized as "sales". Cons Honestly, it just feels too early in development for my taste. Customer support doesn't seem to ever have a consistent answer for problems, promises aren't fulfilled, critical features like webhooks and native form integration just don't work for fiscal sponsor clients. It is really frustrating to talk to a representative and be promised something only to be emailed later and told that you have to make do because you're a fiscal sponsor client so you don't matter. Pros The donor management aspects are great for board members like me who need to track donors over time and the nuanced sliders that let me find exactly who I need to find also are time saving. Cons The name, since I am unfamiliar with the tree (though the employee that did our tutorial educated me about what it means). I think that something like 'Canopy Database' could be a better name that is descriptive and a bit less silly. This really allowed us to begin. Pros This was good out-of-the-box development of a CRM for us as we begin the process of generating tax-deductible funds for the first time. Cons The design template is pretty basic. Might be easiest for a newcomer, but since we have a lot of visual editing experience, it is limited.
