MuchSkills has become a key part of how we approach talent development in our agency. It helped us map the skills of our staff in detail and identify areas for upskilling and reskilling. Teams like Operations and Sales now have visibility into people’s capabilities and can make better-informed decisions. It also improved internal conversations about growth and career paths. Overall, it’s a powerful, user-friendly platform that supports both individual and organizational growth in a real, tangible way. On top of that, their customer support is outstanding—always available, responsive, and genuinely committed to helping us tailor the platform to our needs whenever possible. They’ve consistently shown a high level of professionalism, kindness, and willingness to assist, which made the whole experience even more positive.

Pros

What I value most about MuchSkills is how it helps visualize and organize the skills of our entire team in a clear, structured way. It gave us a common language to talk about growth, and made it easier to align talent with business needs across departments. It’s intuitive, flexible, and turns individual development into something actionable.

Cons

Honestly, I don’t have anything negative to point out. Our experience with MuchSkills has been consistently positive, both in terms of the platform itself and the support we’ve received. Every time we had a need or question, the team was there to help us adapt the tool to our context.

Our experience has been very positive. From the very start we received support with migrating to MuchSkills from a custom system we were using before (the team helped us to migrate relevant info instead of asking people to add it themselves again). It's easy to add, update and manage skills and certificates on the platform and we always receive support and timely answers for our questions and requests.

Pros

It has a great intuitive design, useful functionalities and amazing support from the team both at the implementation phase and afterwards. I would say the best thing about the platform is that it keeps getting better and better, based both on development plans and received feedback.

Cons

I can't say there's something in particular I dislike about the platform. There have been features we were missing for example, but almost all of them are added now after we gave our feedback to the MuchSkills team, which is more than great.

Our experience with MuchSkills has been very positive. It enables transparent, data-driven decision-making when it comes to people allocation, upskilling, and hiring. The management dashboard gives valuable insights into skill distribution and highlights both opportunities and gaps. We've seen a cultural shift toward proactive skills development, especially with the skill gap analysis and growth path assessments. We're actively exploring further enhancements.

Pros

MuchSkills has become an integral part of our talent and project management workflows. Its intuitive UI and powerful feature set make it easy to assess team strengths, manage certifications, and align skills with project needs. The integration with Tempo is especially useful, allowing us to connect utilization data with skills, which gives us a real-time, actionable overview of capacity vs. expertise.

Cons

While the platform itself is robust (and the Muchskills team is super proactive and responsive to fix any issues), maintaining a high-quality and up-to-date skills database still requires ongoing time and effort. This includes aligning inputs from 1-on-1 conversations, performance reviews, and onboarding procedures. Coordination with HR and L&D is needed to ensure consistent data flow and integration across these processes.

Pros

We evaluated MuchSkills for quite some time and compared it with other solutions. In the end, it was the most compelling and intuitive solution that provides both ease of use and quick insights and reports into the data.

Cons

There is nothing really to outline here. It was a good journey from demo to implementation, training, rollout, and day-to-day usage.

The system is flexible and powerful, and it has been successfully adapted to align with our organization’s workflows and culture. Pros

What I like most about MuchSkills is its beautifully designed interface – it's clean, modern, and intuitive, making it easy and even enjoyable to use. The support we've received during implementation has also been exceptional. The team has been incredibly helpful, responsive, and genuinely engaged in ensuring that the platform fits our specific needs. Their collaborative and solution-oriented approach has made a big difference.

Cons

One area for improvement would be the ability to set minimum skill levels required for specific roles. I understand this feature is already in the pipeline, and once implemented, it will add even more value by helping us clearly define expectations and match the right people to the right roles with greater precision.

The MuchSkills Team is fantastic - almost answering our questions before we ask them. They are going the extra mile (or five) to make sure we get value out of the data in the platform, and help us train and engage our organisation.

Pros

The look and feel of the platform - so playful and positive! it's also under constant development, and the new AI features are fantastic! It's also great that it is completely transparent, so that everyone can find mentors or goal-buddies to support in reaching their goal.

Cons

The platform is not yet integrated with our Learning Management System, but we will hopefully get there within short!

Our overall experience with MuchSkills has been excellent. The company is highly professional, incredibly supportive, and genuinely enjoyable to work with. Their responsiveness is outstanding — most of our questions are answered within an hour, often even within minutes. What stands out most is their solution-oriented mindset: they listen carefully, understand our needs, and actively help us grow into skill management. It's a true partnership, not just a software provider relationship.

Pros

MuchSkills includes all relevant technical skills in its database. If a skill is missing, the team adds it quickly upon request — so we don’t need to invest any effort in maintaining the skill list ourselves. Creating a company-specific skill taxonomy was easy, thanks to the excellent support from MuchSkills \[sensitive content hidden\]. The role-based skill lists make it simple for our employees to enter their skills in a structured way. The tool provides a clear and comprehensive overview of key skills and certifications across the organization. Everyone in the company can search for learning buddies or find experts on any given skill, which helps foster collaboration and knowledge sharing. We also appreciated that \[sensitive content hidden\]personally launched the tool in our company with a vivid and inspiring introduction session for all managers and employees.

Cons

One key feature we’re missing is an integrated Learning Management System (LMS). We would like to manage role-based learning paths, track training attendance, document training histories, and demonstrate compliance — especially for regulatory or audit purposes. This functionality would close an important gap for organizations with formal training requirements. That said, MuchSkills still allows us to easily identify individuals who are missing specific skills or certifications, which is very helpful.
