He then follows up. When I asked for additional measurements in the Vital Sections area, he made it happen. When I had problems with a patient filling out the intake form, he looked into it and fixed the problem, even though it was in the evening. As long as you click on "submit case", you won't lose patient information. I appreciate that the EMR doesn't time out on you. I spend an hour or more with patients and really like that the chart is still up when I finally get around to documenting. Pros Software is intuitive and easy to use. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] is very responsive to questions and helps you, even on weekends and at night! The medical marijuana resources are very helpful for me and my patients. Basic data on all of my patients are easy to see and updated constantly. The EMR saves all the info you put in and doesn't time out. The new patient intake forms are great and easy to use. It's easy and simple to upload forms and clinical records. Cons While templates are easy to make, you can't use multiple templates on the same patient section area. When used for non-medical marijuana patients, the EMR is not as robust as other EMRs. But, you can skip all the sections on medical marijuana. It does not provide email or text appointment reminders. It doesn't do billing; but since I no longer participate with insurances, it doesn't matter to me. Switched from [talkEHR](https://www.capterra.com/p/140795/MTBC-Practice-Management/) I used MTBC because that was what my biller wanted. It's a clumsy, non-intuitive EMR that is mostly a billing data base. Before MTBC, I used Practice Fusion, which was a decent EMR, but costly. I was an early adopter and have seen some fantastic additions to the software. I have had to reach out for help on numerous occasions (I'm not the most techie doctor out there) and have had resolutions to my questions VERY quickly. This company is easy to work with and I am a customer for life. In addition, they have stayed on top of physician needs and incorporated them into new upgrades. Great communication about the new upgrades and when the maintenance is going to occur. Pros This software is the easiest and most intuitive EMR software that I have had the pleasure of using. Yes pleasure is not a word that most physicians would EVER use in describing EMRs. I am able to breeze through the process of adding a case and filling in the info. It starts with the ease for the patients to input their info prior to the appointment, which carries over as the basis of my EMR record (saves so much time duplicating things). I am able to quickly add my info with drop downs and clickable links. I am able to customize templates for quicker notes. But, if you ask me my favorite parts of this system....It has to be both the ability to send electronic consents for signatures (saving a lot of paper to file) and the ability to generate the Required Waiver for the State of Florida!! I cannot tell you how much time it has saved me. Another plus is the ability to use this software across many platforms. I have used it on my main computer an iMac, my surface Pro, my iPad and my iPhone with seamless ability to switch platforms. A godsend when out of the office and the patient calls and I can document. The addition of TeleMedicine has been hugely helpful in this current Covid 19 crisis. Cons The only thing I can say that I like the least about this software is the inability for the Waiver to be "automatically" filled out with Florida required resources in supporting the diagnoses of like or similar class. The demo graphic info is automatically filled in but the the resources must be copied and pasted to the document. Luckily they have them all listed in their resource page!! It's extremely easy to navigate and the intake form makes it easy for patients to do all the necessary paperwork ahead of time. The customer service team is always super responsive and answers all my questions. Cons Is it possible to have an option to see patients that are expiring within the next 35 days? Pros Software is very easy to use. They thought of so many things to make it easy to use and you really get what you need from it. Cons Searching patients and scheduling was a bit different from what we are used to but it turned out to be an easy change to adapt to. The team are extremely attentive to our needs and easily accessible for questions. The product is just what we need for HIPAA compliance and data collection and we are very happy with our experience. Cons I have not found anything in our first six months that would be considered something I would like the least.
