### "Flexible product that meets our unique needs "

Edficiency has helped us to best maximize our support times with students. Teachers and students are able to use the system to schedule directly with the people that they most need time with. Customer support has been quick, responsive an open-minded to new ideas. The cost is very comparable and fair for this service. We have been pleased with what Edficiency and their staff have been able to do for us here at LHS.

Pros

As our high school implemented a flexible Resource period two days a week, we needed a scheduling product that could be easily manipulated by both students and faculty. We needed quick turn around for daily scheduling requests, effective communication so that everyone knew where to report and customer support that was willing to work with what our school needed specifically. With Edficiency we have gotten all of that. It is a constant work in progress and Edficiency is always there to listen to our desires and concerns and work with us on the most effective solutions to keep this system effective for us.

Cons

There are pieces that need to be reconfigured as we flex with our schedules and needs here at school but overall, the Edficiency staff has been very supportive as we work together to think through logical and effective adjustments.

### "You Can't Beat Edficiency's Customer Service"

Customer service is top-notch. Anytime I had a question, or a suggestion, the team at Edficiency was efficient, thorough, and pleasant to work with. The system satisfied our needs and we are using it again this year. In the year of COVID, Edificiency helped us with our student-success priorities.

Pros

Once we got through the initial learning curve associated with figuring out exactly how we needed the system to work for us, it was easy to use. The ability to communicate to the student/teacher through the software was helpful because all parties were able to efficiently prepare for the meetings. Being able to set up groups made scheduling classes easy. Implementing the priority system was also very beneficial (although one of the more challenging to learn/remember elements of our process).

Cons

We really needed the software to communicate with students and their parents. If there was a way to have parents sign up for notifications, that would have really improved our attendance goals. It would also have been nice to have the schedule automatically post, instead of having to manually post it every week. There are perks to the manual option, but we would have preferred an auto version.

### "Excellent Tool"

The customer service is exceptional. Any time we have had a question or issue, we get a quick response and resolution. Edficiency listens to our needs and works to find a way to improve the program to meet those needs.

Pros

Edficiency provides a very user-friendly way for our staff and students to schedule sessions for our intervention and enrichment period at school. The features provide many options for scheduling and it is very intuitive.

Cons

Because of the size of our school, the text notifications to students about which session they are schedule in does not work. It is not an issue with the software, but rather with the text providers.

### "The solution we needed to help students know where to be and when"

We use Edficiency to schedule a school-run testing center, remediation for our struggling students and study groups, labs, etc. for AP and Concurrent Enrollment classes. This system allows our teachers to have dedicated time for extension and remediation activities, allows students to choose a convenient time for taking exams, and allows the administration to see how all of these are working to help students.

Pros

The initial setup takes some time, however as we have changed and adapted how we run our program, Edficiency has enough options that will accommodate the different schedules and our needs.

Cons

The only downside that we have found is that we are not able to have the system email the parents of students to notify them of their child's schedule.

### "Edficiency and RTI"

Pros

Years ago, our administrative team was searching for an easier way to keep track of our students (attendance wise) during our intervention period. We researched a lot of products and could not find what we were looking for. Luckily for us, this software was recommended from another school in our state. We instantly called Edficiency and began the process of purchasing their software. It didn’t take long to realize we found the exact tool we were looking for. Edficiency is very simple for our students, parents and teachers to use. It allows our teachers and students a flexible but precise tool for their intervention needs.

Cons

The only criticism of Edficiency would be its ranking system for how the software decides where students attend for their intervention period. Currently, students can overrule a request by a teacher in certain aspects within the software.

### "Look no further"

Edficiency allows us to bring STUDENT CHOICE and VOICE into our weekly schedule. The set up and implementation has been so easy. We were able to start using Edficiency to schedule our flextime sessions even in this most challenging year of being back in person. The program is going to help us help our students.

Pros

The implementation of Efficiency software has been the easiest and most satisfying full school implementation of anything I have ever done. The Edficiency team is brilliant - they can solve problems you have and those you don't even know you have. It is clear they understand how schools work, school needs, and are invested partners. The software is super smart and is the answer to all flexible scheduling at a school.

Cons

It would be nice if students could make a back up request. Students can search by teacher, which is most often the way to go, but if we are doing full school workshops that are not related to classes, it would be nice that students would sign up by session name - not the attached adult.

### "Customer Service is Stellar"

We were looking for a system to schedule our flex period. We had looked at several other systems but then when we saw Edficiency, it had everything we needed. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] has made improvements over the years that have made it even better. I cannot speak highly enough about the customer service of this company.

Pros

I am very impressed with how easy this system is to use. The steps are straight forward. The tutorials included are extremely helpful. The very best part is the unbelievable customer service! Any time we have had a question we receive a response right away. I cannot speak highly enough about the customer service!!!

Cons

I can't think of anything that we don't like.

The customer support with Edficiency is the best I’ve ever experienced!

Pros

Edficiency sets routines and procedures for students and teachers to help manage and be flexible with where students go during intervention time.

Cons

I wish a teacher could be scheduled more than once in a session. For example, a teacher runs a group one day, and wants to add an additional group on another day. I know I can create a group of groups, but that is one more group to keep track of when really, I would like a teacher to have two sessions on a certain day.

I would highly recommend Edficiency for any school who is looking for a system to schedule students for a Flex period. It is highly customizable, user-friendly, and has enhanced our ability to help students get targeted support during the school day.

Pros

I love the fact that you can use Edficiency's features to accommodate almost any user. Our teachers can easily customize the software to meet their individual needs for a Flex period, yet if a user does nothing, Edficiency's algorithms will still strategically schedule students so they end up in a classroom that is purposeful. The response from customer service has been quick and effective every time.

Cons

Honestly, I cannot think of anything I don't like about Edficiency. Each time we want the program to do something different to serve a new purpose, we are able to customize the software to meet our needs.

This platform has been a life-saver in rolling out our new Flex Period initiative. The ease and automation of scheduling students and allowing both students and teachers to make choice that drive the schedule is perfect.

Overall, it has been a great experience. The customer support is by far the best I have ever experienced with any company. They are prompt, friendly, and never fail to fix the issue.

Pros

This software allowed us to create a flexible period that gave teachers a new roster every day and gave students opportunity to work with a different teacher every day.

Cons

There are a few logistical adjustments that could be made to save time. However, the program can do just about anything we ask, but some of them are more time consuming than others.

### "Edficiency Helped Us Go from Idea to Reality!"

Overall, we are pleased with the product. It has helped us achieve our goals of providing a Flex Block that is easily scheduled to all of our students.

Pros

This is a very easy to use product. We wanted to create a flexible block of time to provide MTSS Tier 2 Interventions, Honors, and other interventions. Our staff was ready to run with this program almost immediately, and with a little training, students have found it easy to use as well. Students can see sessions offered, can be easily reassigned, and get emails to update them on where they are supposed to go.

Cons

There are a few kinks that we have worked around. Is there a way to reassign students and simultaneously see what the title of the session being offered is? Also, can we permanently assign a student to a location -- for example, a special education student who has a fixed session. We also have some random assignment of students to teachers who do not teach them.

I have had nothing but positive experiences using Edficiency.

Pros

We use Edficiency for our Layer 2 intervention Flex period. I love the ease of setting up sessions, and having a program that does the scheduling gives me time to focus on other things. My staff finds Edficiency easy to use. Currently, we use it primarily for teachers requesting students, but we are beginning to open it up for students to request teachers. The attendance feature is essential, especially now with all of the Covid tracings we need to do.

Cons

I wish the program offered a "High, medium, and low" feature. It would be helpful for the way we use the product.

My overall experience has been very positive. Yes, there is a learning curve, but once teachers and students figure out the system it is a great way to manage and structure an intervention time while also allowing flexibility.

Pros

I like that I can request students and use rosters to mark students "at-risk". This allows me to work with the students that need specific reteaching or extensions related to what we are doing in class. I also like that teachers and students both know exactly where students are rostered due to the attendance roster that Edficiency creates.

Cons

While it isn't really a fault of the system, there is a little bit of a learning curve to figure out how to best utilize the software effectively. That said, the customer service does a great job of answering any questions.

### "Answer to my prayers"

This product really was an answer to my prayers. Everyone is looking for ways to add extra time in the school day, but also have flexibility to include some student choice. This does this perfectly.

Pros

The thing you will notice instantly is how user friendly it is. Students and Teachers were able to figure out the majority of the system with little to know training, and the admin side of the program is amazing.

Cons

There really isn’t anything that is coming to mind as a con to this software. I guess if I could have any additional functionality I would like for kids to be able to make two requests with preference of one over the other. But to be honest that really isn’t an issue in my experience.

The staff at Edficiency has been very responsive during our set up and implementation. They are quick to offer support and answer questions.

Pros

Automated scheduling for students on a daily basis. Staff can create their sessions and request students for additional support.

Cons

User manual is missing several features however the staff quickly responded to emails.

Reason for choosing Edficiency

We didn't find a comparable product for a similar price. Everything else offered the same features but was more expensive.

The program is easy to set up. Learning the program took only a handful of hours and each day only takes a few minutes to maintain. Outstanding reports and flexible functions. Teachers have really liked using the program.

### "Planning face to face instruction during the ongoing pandemic"

While I don't agree with being forced to teach even a few kids face to face during a pandemic, this does work great.

Pros

Very easy to use... I can schedule dozens of kids for face to face instruction in less than ten minutes.

Cons

Not much not to like... if I had one suggestion, it would be to be able to adjust the scrolling list to just MY students instead of having to scroll through almost 2000 names.
