I would say it is complete and reliable product. Pros One of the best collaborative tool is here. Indeed best software that can be used to make documents, worksheets and other training sessions online in any sort of organization. For engaging participants it has few design features which enables in its use if access easier and also the screen sharing becomes more convenient with it. Cons Moreover, the connections are bit weaker and quality of the sound sometimes troublesome which makes my experience a bit annoying otherwise I like this application with all its terms and condition. July 11, 2018 3.0 Pros I first used Adobe Connect when I was doing training and professional development for a large non-profit. I used it quite literally everyday and found it essential to creating a quality learning environment. Now I use it sporadically for teaching my own courses and sometimes recommend it to clients and assist them in setting up their webinars/courses. This is a true e-learning tool that's probably more than what most small biz owners will need. It's definitely intended for pros and people who do quite a bit of online teaching. (I.e., if you just need video conferencing, there are easier to use and less expensive options. But if you frequently need to create a professional and interactive virtual classroom, this is a great tool.) It has the expected functions: screensharing, PDF/document sharing, survey and Q&A capabilities, meeting recording, etc. Customer service is good, but I rarely needed it since they have some quality tutorials available. Cons The price is on the expensive side and the more functionalities you use, the glitchier it can get. However, I found that most of the glitches happened on the host side of things, not the end-user or student side. Review Source LK Liz K. If Adobe Connect had made efforts to optimize their platform for UX and to update the look and feel, I would be inclined to reconsider the technology. Pros Plugins. We moved to a different webinar software provider for several reasons, with the largest being the need for the audience to have to download plugins in order to participate. Now that we are using a web-based platform that does not require plugins, we understand the value we lost, because without this feature, the user's connection is only as reliable as their (usually wireless) internet connection, which is not ideal for this type of technology. Never thought I'd say this, but I miss plugins. Cons The interface was tired and in need of a refresh. It didn't work for our brand for this reason. The customer service process was also cumbersome and took a while to get answers, and sometimes there were no answers. The backend event setup was also not the best UX. I have multiple professors that use this and it's pretty simple and easy. Cons I would like the option to connect to my professor when available. Right now the professor has to initiate the meet. I'm sure there's a better way of doing it the way I currently do, but I couldn't find it myself. There could be a more pronounced, efficient way to come up with solutions in this area and others. If the audio issues were resolved, I'd be even more excited about Connect. The multi-function platform fits our Manager training very well, although we experience issues along the way from time-to-time. Pros I am an avid user and administrator of Adobe Connect, it is a great product. the features I like most are on the admin side, with the recording features and uploading capabilities. It's great that on a single platform, I can host over 40 people, all while launching everything from separate chat windows to PPTs, to audio recordings, embedded videos, and more, all while maintaining consistent bandwidth quality. Cons I constantly run into Audio problems. Every presenter I have use Adobe, which rotates on a bi-weekly basis, has a different setup, computer, and audio equipment. This seems to be a problem about half of the time, with different people having different issues syncing either their mic or speakers. This became hugely problematic in the first week as I had an audience of about 75 people, where I needed to take time away from the session to troubleshoot audio issues. Review Source AE Anne E. Features like dynamic participation and video recording make it a useful tool for any team that is looking for an all-inclusive web conferencing software. Cons It's an expensive product. After so many chances, we had no choice but to change software. Pros It was easy for others to connect to your conference (but we still had issues). Cons I had multiple recorded webinars where the video and audio fluctuated this a wave. This meant it wasn’t just mismatched, but either the video or audio kept speeding up and slowing down. This means I couldn’t even use video editing software to fix it without hours of work. I ended up having to re-record with another software. Cons The user interface for both users and hosts is inefficient and unattractive. Modules are not entirely customizable - you can resize within certain ranges, but you can't maximize a chat window for example. There is a noticeable delay between presenters changing their slides via screenshare and when the visual changes for webinar attendees. July 16, 2018 3.0 Pros The product was free to use and had very little issues throughout the webinar using this software. All that was needed was a quick download and the program started up with no apparent issues. The quality was mediocre but clear. I did not have any connection issues throughout the entire webinar (3.5 hours). All necessary information (speaker video, presentation, chat window, and "downloads" section were all available in one window. Cons While I never lost connection, I did experience several obvious instances of audio and visual lag despite my internet having plenty of speed and being the only person on at the house at the time. The one window was convenient but the lack of customization for the individual sections within the window was disappointing. I could not increase the size of the presentation without going into full screen mode which then covered up the speaker video. I also was unable to separate any of the sections into their own windows which could have helped since the default presentation viewer was too small to effectively follow. I will admit that this review is written after only one use so maybe that is a feature that was simply unable to find. You can use the same presentation layout as the host, or you can leave the others in a different layout, and you can host it in a different layout. The value, efficiency, and ease of use really can't be beat. A great solution for people working with small and large groups alike. Pros When I was assigned the task of designing and implementing webinars (and selecting software!), I knew that I wanted something simple, user-friendly and (dare I say it?) attractive. I'm relatively good with computers, but no genius, and I wanted something that I could use quickly right out of the box. Adobe Connect was perfect. It let me customize my webinar so that it had the exact look and functionality (file download, chat, raising hands, etc.) that I needed. And it let me record! Cons I really love this software, and I don't have much in the way of complaints. I feel like Adobe Connect is less popular than some of the other options out there, so you may be introducing clients to it on a regular basis. I have no need to worry about its security because its ability to turn on/off is excellent. I can allow access to my own selected persons so that only those can view the happenings in the meeting. Cons Connections are sometimes lost due to local bandwidth because its connection uses a lot of bandwidth. The good features are the same good features that many other video conferencing softwares offer (such as Zoom, GoToMeeting, Webex etc), so I do not believe Adobe Connect provides any value over these competitors. Cons There is no fast forward or rewind option on recorded sessions, so if you need to review something that was just previously said, you have to slide the timer back, but there is also a delay in the play, so it is VERY figidity. Also, Adobe Connect requires flash in order to work, which is only compatible on computers.
