Pros Git is essential for me and my customers, but it is very difficult for non-users to understand what's going on on the command line. Vershd sorted that out in a drop of a hat and now everyone understands where we are with our version control. It can be used to view and work with any file on your system, and also supports syntax highlighting and code completion for very many languages. Pros Vershd, is a handy and simple tool for anyone who wants to use Git in a visual way. This is a Git repository browser with an integrated visual differences and merge tool. It is written in Python, uses the cross-platform GUI toolkit and wxPython, and was super easy to use even for a non-coder like myself. Cons I am not a coder but I was able to edit some code for use on some of my sales pages in relatively easy way Vershd was only the second time I ever tried to use aGit and for me using a visual coder was far more useful than a text Git. I really don't have much to compare it to so I can't say there is anything that I didn't like. Instead of being a "cowgirl coder", I thought it best to invest in a version control system. I suspect as I do more coding, I will take advantage of the other features. I did look at other tools, but they seemed too complex for my needs. Pros I'm not a developer by profession, but find myself doing more coding tweaks for my websites. I found Vershd was much easier to use than the other products I tried. When I did run into issues, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] was most helpful. Cons Early on, I had an issue with it finding my repositories.
