Pros: Cost and fuctionality. Varity of different types of programs. Cloud based. Intergration with other software like MS project, etc. Punch list is the best program i have found and use it, my associates are impressed with the organization and presentation of the final report.

Cons: Not able to adapt to my business. To many Software glitches that require tech support to resolve, creates problems when im traveling and have only a full work day to complete a task such as preparing a punchlist. Tech support has always been able tonresolve issues.

It¿s been great to use. Not enough information on the updates though. So it¿s hard to see the new stuff that¿s happening

Pros: Love the organisation. It¿s estimating program is very easy to use and we have multiple people using it daily.

Cons: Hard to make working templates. When I go to make subcontracts it goes back to the original rather than the template I made.

Pros: The availability for live support as well as the ability to watch online videos for training on "our" time. Overall fairly easy to figure out. Does more things than I can even comprehend at this beginning stage, but very excited to learn and utilize.

Cons: I have heard the estimating piece isn't as perfect as our team would like for it to be. But I don't handle that piece of the business so I can't offer any feedback on it.

Overall: The end goal is to take advantage of the online user interface with our clients. That is what we desperately need to improve our communications and expectations with our customer experiences.

Pros: When we are lucky enough to get her on the phone we are guaranteed success. She is always professional, respectful, and kind. She listens carefully when we explain what we are struggling with and she knows what questions to ask to get to the root of the issue. If she is ever unsure about the most appropriate solution she seeks further insight from her colleagues and gets back to us in an incredibly timely manner. She breaks right through any frustration we might be feeling and makes the whole experience better. As a technical support specialist she is worth her weight in gold!

Cons: It has a very steep learning curve. We have been trying to integrate this software into an existing business model and it has been a bit of a struggle. On-site training prior to implementation may have saved us some headaches but our trip to AL helped get us going on the right path again

Very happy with ConstructionSuite. It has been a key part in the successful growth of my company.

Pros: My favorite feature of ContructionSuite is the integration between all of the features as well as with ConstructionOnline.

Cons: The cost is a little prohibitive for the number of user we need, especially when you add in ConstructionOnline.

One of the customer rep is always sweet and always willing to help in any way possible, always a pleasure to speak with

Pros: very detailed, quite user friendly. There are so many different things one can use this software it's not possible to know them all... this is a plus.

Cons: little quirks that no one can explain why they happen and/or inability to fix. Also, when we have updates there are always little unexplained issues ... or changes that make absolutely no sense.

Overall: I can come up with a 99% correct template and estimate, I could never have all of this info at my fingertips on paper. It is a coveted tool in this business.

Pros: Quickbooks integration is great and it is a good overall software. Would like the cost to be less but is a decent value for the price.

Cons: not online and online product is not as robust. does not integrate to QuickBooks and is missing some other necessary features for us

The support team was really helpful. He understood my needs and helped me find the best route to meet them.

Pros: It helps me where I am now as a small business owner with the potential to grow as I grow.

Cons: It can only be used on 1 computer. I am a small business owner. I am in the office(administration/sales & marketing), my husband is operations(in the field, pricing, equipment)
I cannot afford to buy another license or pay monthly for online service. The device that was available with ConstructionSuite has been discontinued(Envoy)

Construction Suite is a powerful tool and it helps us keep everything in order.

Pros: You can customize your estimates, proposals, and contracts within minutes. Also you can keep all of your documents in one place and accessible by whoever you set up to have access.

Cons: It is a little bit of a learning curve to get started and set up. The integration of Quick books doesn't work with Quick books online which is what we are using currently.

Overall: Organization of estimates, contracts, proposals, and contact information.

The customer support knew exactly what to do and spent little of my valauble time fixing my problem

Pros: The support UDA offers, they can jump onto our computer and work through any problems that we have. I also like the ability to migrate onto QuickBooks so easily.

Pros: All items I need are in one program. I can set up, track, estimate, bid and pay all from here. It's like having an assistant in itself. The customer service is TOP NOTCH! Get the best customer service plan you can.

Cons: Some minor limitations with the QB integration, but you get used to those. Make sure that you manage your templates, and lists often. It will not read your mind on new material costs updates.

Overall: Consolidation of multiple programs into one.

Use a Mac, does not work well with Mac for full functionality

Pros: The features it has would have been great. Estimates, change orders, selection tool bookmark was neat as well.

Cons: Does not have the full QB functionality for Mac as it does for windows. Didn't see that listed on their site informing me prior to purchase. That fact was only revealed after multiple phone calls with customer support. I used for a week while playing phone tag with customer service and now needed a refund/cancel once we found out about the limits for Mac. Got laughed at when asking for cancellation and credit back by customer service. The servers, when working in the US are buggy and sluggish making creating larger project details a HUGE hassle and refreshing after freezing multiple times, duplicated items and missing entries after refreshing and missing functionality just before freeze causes data entry locations to become unselectable and useless until refreshing the page.
If you're ok with lag times, refreshing the page a good amount of times to get work done and only being able to use on Windows, should be ok to use. Phone app (all 10 you need to download along with some paid ones) are ok at best. QB integration was an additional cost monthly (didn't see that listed either but I'm sure it's hidden in their site somewhere.

Overall: None

Customer service agent was Awesome so she gets 5 stars!! The 3 's will go up as I become more proficient I'm sure.

Pros: So far, the help from the techs. Every one of them have really, really been helpful. This will be great for our organization in time.

Cons: The Planswift Plug-in. No one at Planswift seems to know anything about how it works, or possibly don't want to spend the time with the client. Your techs will remote in and try to help even with the Planswift issues. Every one of your techs has helped in that respect and it is greatly appreciated.

Overall: Will be a major time saver eventually

Pros: I like the estimating function and the ability to export to construction suite. More importantly, customer rep has been great about helping me understand it on short notice. Top notch support, which is a must when dealing with software.

Cons: It is possible to use the software in a way that "works", but is not necessarily the best possible use of the software. Our office has been copying templates for similar jobs and adding in items that are not present. As a result, there are a lot of random items in quickbooks and it has made a bit of a mess. You do recommend creating sub-templates from an all encompassing master template, but it seems you would be doing your clients a favor if you made it so that you HAD to create all new templates from the large master template. Employees tend to take the quickest, easiest way to do something if they don't understand the repercussions of not using something as it was intended.

Overall: efficiency

Overall, very satisfied. Customer Service is top notch with people wanting to help.

Pros: Customer Service is available at all times with willing staff who try and solve problems at the time of each call.

Cons: The software is good but it takes some time to get familiar with it and its capabilities. Integrating UDA's software into our existing systems takes some time to make the transition.

Overall: Most benefits are the link between QuickBooks Construction Software, Estimates, and Job Cost Reporting.

Pros: I like the way you can re-use the work done at the preliminary stages to generate more and more detailed documents at the later stages of a project. I like the way the software can generate documents that require only a little custom editing to be customer-ready.

Cons: Sometimes a bit obscure how it re-uses the information between parts of the software... i.e. sometimes hard to see where it gets the information to populate the various fields in some documents.

Overall: Save time and money, especially in generating proposals and in managing projects.

I have used a couple of other contractors software and UDA is the best for my operation.

Pros: The tech support. helped me today fix an update issue. Every time she helps she puts 110% I got it and always come thru. She is the best.

Cons: There are some improvements that I would like to see in the mobile apps. One is that everything is in one place. This would be more convenient.

Overall: It helps me to operate on the best level of satisfaction.

Easy to use and the interface is nice however I can't edit the document templates.

Pros: Right when you sign in the feeling of the interface is nice and flows well. Projects are organized nicely.

Cons: I cannot edit my document templates and even our logo shows up stretched every single time I print a new document.

Overall: It's a nice tool for Project Management but not great for customization.

Pros: MY ENTIRE BIDDING PROCESS RELIES ON THIS SOFTWARE. I AM ABLE TO QUICKLY PUT TOGETHER BIDS ACCURATELY.

Cons: CERTAIN THINGS REQUIRE DOUBLE ENTRY. LIKE WHEN ADDING A NEW CLIENT IN A PROJECT. IF YOU ADD THE CLIENT ON THE PROJECT PAGE YOU HAVE TO THEN GO OVER TO THE EDIT CONTACT AND COPY ADDRESSES, PHONE NUMBERS, ETC OVER OR ELSE IT WILL NOT SYNC WITH QUICKBOOKS.

Your's is about the best software support I have encountered. In computer business since 1965.

Pros: Uda software is a good tool for crews tp perform against once an accurate (usually taking about 1 week) estimate is made.

Cons: Once we upgraded to windows 10, installation has seemed very difficult on new computers. Somehow the SQL files etc. get tangled on installation, and execution freezes.

We were experiencing so UDA QB integration issues and Katy helped fix in a very short time

Pros: Ease of use and the customer service, The Construction suite is very user friendly and easy to figure out new abilities. But best is the AAA quality customer service expertise.

Cons: We are new to the Quick books integration and struggle a bit because of the way we set up QB prior to using UDA

Pros: The ease of use and great support that UDA offers. We are a small home building company 25 to 35 homes per year. UDA is the right tool for our size of company.

Cons: With a production office in KY (UDA) and a central accounting office in WI (QuickBooks) it causes issues and extra steps that when a PO is created in QuickBooks for a job that PO can longer be seen in KY with UDA only in WI with QuickBooks open

Overall: Better cost controls for more accurate pricing of our products

Katy had an excellent personality, efficient, and very knowledgeable with your software.

Pros: UDA is extremely versatile. It integrates very well with other programs such as Quick Books. Estimates, change orders, and proposals are prepared using UDA and saves hours everyday on average.

Cons: Nothing really comes to mind. The product works very well and integrates with other programs such as Quickbooks very well.

Overall: Saving time. Tracking projects and proposals. Budgeting. And the product is very helpful with organizing projects and staying on track.

Great customer service. Product has evolved tremendously since I purchased in 2007

Pros: It is every thing I need in one bundle. Some of what I didn't know I needed until now. I enjoy being able to call customer service and talking to a competent english speaking and at times humorous helper. Great Company to work with

Pros: The Customer Support is the best feature. Their ability and friendliness make the learning curve and problem solving truly bearable. The software Also helps us in getting a good amount of things done the Schedule is our most used item.

Cons: Could use Integration with Google & MS products better. Also Quickbooks. Improved Project Management Tools. They have these and what they have is good they just need it a bit more polished and improved. If they could get some sort of integration with AutoCAD for the estimating side that would be awesome.

Overall: This software Helps us manage and bill for our projects.

Pros: Ease of tracking, and functionality of each step to help move projects forward and increase team coordination

Cons: No full integration with planswift without Excel as a mediator tool; Import tool is a little difficult to figure out as well.

Pros: The magic of QuickBooks Integration---makes my job so simple. Has everything I need to get my job done!

Comments: Thank you again to Ryan, he absolutely made my day yesterday!

Pros: I am new to UDA - and get frustrated when I cannot understand or make something work. The support I received from Ryan was phenomenal, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and he taught me something - FAST!

Cons: Not fully understanding it yet & not being able to control f search through the estimate (thats actually a big one)

good and bad. There is many nice features but this review is focused more on the bad.

Pros: Estimating integration with documents. (There are areas in the estimating platform that drove me nuts but they seem to have been addressed in CS8, although I cannot confirm this through actual use.) The tech support people are a thumbs up, all but except one who was a little snotty. Taylor (the guy from many of the web videos is very nice and seems eager to help. Overall, I would give them a thumbs up in this category. I think many of these folks are closely associated with the company so they really do care.

Cons: Not intuitive at all. Confusing associations between LEADS, OPPORTUNITIES, and PROJECTS. Reporting is not good or versatile. Lead management is well below average. No clear understanding or documentation provided on how to set up specifically for your company. The user guide or help is a robotic "do this then do that", i.e. it explains the steps (which are not difficult to figure out) rather than the logic or how it is intended to be used.

Overall: Estimating.

I find UDA ConstructionSuite easy to use and the learning curve is much less than anticipated

Pros: This is a one-stop- shop program. There is everything a business needs to do its day to day work. The reports are customizable to suite any company / department needs

Cons: I am unable to print the estimate sheets to appear on one page without a lot of customizing. I am having difficulty adjusting to the estimate not being Excel based

Overall: Easy estimating with lots of options to prepare reports for various uses. The terminology is easy to understand and this program is very easy to navigate

The detail in ConstructionSuite was directly responsible for a notable increase to my net income.

Pros: The ConstructionSuite to QuickBooks link is probably my favorite component of the software. This link provides up to the minute accuracy with estimated costs vs. actual cost; we use this information regularly to perform job forensics.
The customization allowed in ConstructionSuite provides the flexibility to conform to my business processes instead of forcing us to conform to the software. The estimating templates are the core of the entire program, customizing these to our pricing and our items is how I substantially increased my net income after I had ConctructionSuite up and running.
The time invested at the product implementation has given us a fantastic return.

Cons: The interface is a little quirky in places. That is, the software doesn't always behave in ways I expect; usually these have been programming decisions instead of bugs, but they can be annoying. Thinking especially about repetitive tasks.

Overall: Greatly increased accuracy in my residential estimates that resulted in a significant increase to my net income.

Pros: I am a new user for construction suite and have been learning your SW for last 2 weeks. Integration of all aspects in one platform. Ability to keep all data in one place and access through one interface. Customer service is easily available and they are eager to help and answer my question.
Unlike some of the other reps who wants to get me off the line as quickly as they can address my concern or question, They want to make sure I completely understand the issue and take time to show me features and functionality of the system. I feel very comfortable to ask her multiple questions and always receive knowledgeable answer. There were at least two times where I was feeling overwhelmed with complexity to the point of quitting integration where after talking to her it all made a lot of sense.

She is a great asset for your organization and an example of superior customer service that have helped to keep us as a customer.

Cons: Still new to the software to critique its functionality. the only thing I can say that it was like drinking from a fire hose at first. two weeks into it, it starts make sense and looking easier and easier.

Overall: One platform for all your construction related needs

Pros: The 5 Column estimating is great I have been waiting for it since we purchased construction suite. And the scheduling software is super easy to use.

Cons: The cons are that some of the features like the scheduling are hard to print or get setup to print on 24 x 36 inch paper.

Overall: Every part of our company management is all on one system from estimating to field management

Our rep was a delight to work with. She new exactly what to do once I explain my problems.

Pros: The customer service I have received has been excellent. Our rep was wonderful to work with and her knowledge of this system was outstanding.

Pros: Suite is not as user friendly as Online, but it is helpful to have the benefits of everything being in one place. To be able to see the progress of our leads on the pipeline is useful.

Cons: Suite does not seem as user friendly, feels more cumbersome and not as easy to find/navigate the site.

Overall: So far, we haven't truly been using this long enough to gain a huge amount of benefits yet. To have one or the other to completely use would be much more beneficial.

Clunky and frustrating. Support today was very good and helpful, but has generally been erratic.

Pros: The appeal is the broad scope of construction management possibilities. We are a design-build company and felt this one package might be better than having separate CRM, estimating, scheduling, reporting, etc.. Not sure.

Cons: The integration between online and suite is difficult to understand and implement. We have had it for several months and are not totally operational. Implementation is difficult. The re should be better manuals, particularly for setup and implementation. There are many videos, but they are all to general in nature. They show you what you can do, not necessarily how to do it. We are using parts of the program daily, but is not operational company wide.

I like it, But there are allot of things that do not work as well as you are told.

Pros: Having the estimating produces a proposal and schedule from the estimate. Project work flow is a very valuable tool, Launching the items inside of work flow is very smart thing.

Cons: There is no training on how to set up a estimate to move into proposal smoothly and than a schedule that you can use. You have to understand that the estimate needs to be set up just so, so you can get the proposal to work well and the same for the schedule. Nothing has worked yet for me that I can sit the settings and just go with it, without allot time spent editing the proposal greatly and Schedule. The proposal could use more options to choose on adding or removing parts of the estimate to give more flexibility to how the proposal will read. There is allot to be desired on the integration with QuickBooks. Contacts do sync well and allot of the contact info does not sync. The reports in suites have never matched up with Quickbooks reports for me. Does not have a good invoicing system that well work well with QuickBooks. Project files in suites is a very slow file. UDA needs to work out the flow on how things react to each other when you do something in one part of the program and how it will react in another. I use both Suites and Online parts of one program works better than the other program. I would like to know how other people are using the program.

Overall: Using the estimating with proposals and scheduling is the most important parts.

Pros: I probably call UDA Support more than anyone... I am beginning to know people on a first-name basis and I'm sure they know who I am, yet every time I call, I am always greeted and treated like it's my first time calling! A huge thank you to the customer service rep for her level of support, patients, and professionalism. We are 100% satisfied and glad we chose UDA!

Cons: I think it would be good to invest more 1 on 1 time with clients initially to help get them off the ground.

Overall: Full CRM, Project Management, Document Management, etc...

Pros: All inclusive, they listen to feedback and continually improve and upgrade. Tech support is awesome!!

Cons: In some of the forms would like to be able to have the ability to be more creative in designing some forms.

Pros: Integration with quickbooks is key, We never have to manually copy numbers from one system to another.

Cons: I wish we had the ability to more dynamically edit the layout/ importing of data from an estimate into a document. Perhaps even a "re-import" feature that would let you pull fresh numbers into an existing document.

Pros: Reliability (up time) and functionality are extremely important as well as mirroring how we do business in terms of our estimating & scheduling model.

Cons: Some times the built in application used for creating proposals and other documents can be a bit tricky ... it's kind of like Microsoft Word but the formatting can be a little buggy at times (or perhaps fairer to say a little more prone to user error).

Overall: Like any system that has the level of functionality that Construction Suite has there are always going to be occasional "niggles". Customer Support are always extremely polite & professional and today, when I called a couple of times to discuss some minor and one not so minor issue customer, rep was extremely helpful and contrary to what is often the case with support these days, she actually took the time to listen and understand the issues & then helped to resolve every one of them in a timely manner. The most serious of these issues was actually a limitation of QuickBooks and not a Construction Suite issue but all the same this was given the same level of attention and resolved quickly. It makes life so much easier when speaking to someone who genuinely understands the product and is not just reading off a customer service script. UDA provides a fast track to feed issues directly to their development staff.

We have been using Construction Suite for several years now and although obviously, it is not a software solution built just for us, it often feels as if it is as it is so versatile. Technology is a huge aspect of our company and a big selling feature to our clients. We could not do what we do without it.

I would have rated ease of use as 5 stars; the only reason for giving it 4 is that due to the level of functionality it can take some time to grow in to and learn how best to use the functionality ... but if it were very very easy to use that would probably man a much lower score for features & functionality.

I give it a 4 for features as one can always want more.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you have an issue call and speak to support ... they are for the most part willing and able to assist resolving most issues and they do listen to their customers in terms of incorporating extra functionality. For us, we will be staying with Construction Suite as our main back-office system and using Construction Online on a more limited basis (project logging, change orders, and product selections are the main aspects of Construction Online we use on a daily basis). These are features that are easier to work with in the Online system as well as being able to convey details to clients that way more easily ... estimating & scheduling are features we find to be less cumbersome in the desktop application (ie. Construction Suite) and we create work orders and other reports out of Construction Suite. The online reports functionality is very limited.

Pros: Alpha databases, integration with COL

Cons: COL has been clumsy but it getting much easier to use and a little less confusing

Overall: Had a good discussion today about a possible issue when exporting and importing a project, reviewed concerns and a possible issue with synchronizing. Good conversation and I felt that UDA truly cared.

Recommendations to other buyers: Quit focusing on integration with Quickbooks to do everything. This is dangerous and some things are best left to entry via the Quickbooks software. Their job cost reports are pitful so I and other are seriously considering changing accounting software for a lot of reasons.

Pros: Estimating and proposals

Cons: The software in suites has to many lamentations. The training videos only tell you half the story. Not enough in depth training on the functions and how when you do one thing how it effects something else in the software. Ex. Contacts need to set up a certain way in Suites to integrate correctly with QuickBooks.

Overall: Customer Service is always busy. Functions and features always have problems. Functions will stop working for no reason. Using the projects file works very slow. Up loads, moving files, opening files. take for ever.

Recommendations to other buyers: We need a customer forum page for the users. and monitored by UDA. Just like QuickBooks. I think we can all learn from each other on how they are using the software.

Overall: The representative was fantastic for explaining things. I am "new" to UDA and stuck in the "awkward" phase of not knowing how to connect all the dots. My main confusion is finding detailed explanations to guide me through. Ben, however, is able to jump with me from Suite to Online and help. My ratings are based on my not understanding everything as of yet.

Pros: I like the the way the software is set up and all different estimating option that has, which i believe is it can save us time.

Cons: poor customer service and product assistance. Comments: I have been using UDA since we started up in 2009. I have recommended it to others several times. I have all my data stored on it since the beginning and often go back and look up estimates and schedules from the past. I have hired new staff and they have found it easy to learn and work with.

Pros: Ease of use and the power of organization. Success comes from being able to meet the expectations of the clients. This program helps you keep track of the details.

Cons: I have lost data with the hardware issue. It would be nice if it saved on its own so we would not have to remember to save often.

Comments: We use the software primarily to generate bids. For this, I find the software to be useful. There seems to be a lot of extra bells and whistles to wade through. I'm an old school contractor and look to simplicity in my business and tend to rely on paper and pencil more than computers and tablets.

Comments: If you're looking for an all-inclusive package to manage construction sites contracts and personnel this software will do it all.

Pros: Included in the package that I chose it had all of the necessary legal documentation and RS Means a great tool for estimating!

Cons: It is a bit overwhelming to get started. This program does so many things including linking with quick books which are great but trying to figure out the functions and how they work together is a bit of a learning curve. Also, they seem to still be working on the cell phone apps (getting better but still a little glitchy.

Recommendations to other buyers: Use the technical support often. It's a great staff they have, that will do whatever it takes to make you successful with their product.

Comments: Now that we've used Construction Suite for about six months, I wanted to share our experience and explain why I consider it a five star program. We are a small remodeling and cabinet company that specializes in highly individualized projects, with almost all of our design work done in-house. We originally set out to find a replacement for our Excel estimating spreadsheet and to move our scheduling off of a wall calendar. What we've wound up with is an entirely new way of running the business side of things, with all of our contracts and documents, customer management, and job costing being done through Construction Suite now as well as estimating and scheduling. As the owner, I was not expecting to change how I tracked customers (Zoho CRM) or handled job costing (Quickbooks Contractor) but I couldn't be happier now with handling all that information in one place. It has been an easy transition out of our old systems and into Construction Suite by taking things one process at a time; for example we moved estimating over, then contracts and scheduling, etc. and we're now about 90% transitioned. In the other programs we evaluated, I found they seemed to be geared towards general contractors that rely heavily on subcontractors, leaving the estimating side of things with no more utility than our old spreadsheets. Construction Suite's estimating allows us to break down costs into as much or as little detail as we need, and communicate with Quickbooks to track actual cost vs. estimated costs at whatever level of detail we need. For example, we may enter flooring for a project as one item ( a subcontractor's quote) and in the same estimate break down costs for a kitchen island down to each hinge and drawer guide, all in the same estimate. This has been a game changer for us and has cut estimating time down by at least half. Most of all, I can compare each line in the estimate to the actual cost imported from Quickbooks, and know down to the line item if we've made or lost money. If you've tried job costing in Quickbooks, I've felt your pain and I'm here to say there's a better way. There are many more positive things I could elaborate on but I don't want to turn this into a novel, so here's the gist of it: Programs like this can be intimidating, but Construction Suite can be approached as a collection of smaller programs with tiny learning curves. You can treat it as a contacts list to start, then master the calendar, and so on. This worked well for me. Call them. Buy TotalCare and you'll get your money's worth in advice from people who know their stuff. Overall this has been the best single feature of Construction Suite. Pros: Depth. For almost every phone call to tech support, there has been a feature already in the program that does what I need. Not that it's a hard program to learn, I've just found it's faster and much more pleasant to call them and let them teach me. Top notch customer service! A bunch more pros, but a small one that I really enjoy is it's pleasant to look at. Well done design team.

Cons: I have had a few cons, such as using assemblies in an estimate, but the version 8 update has addressed literally every small complaint I've had.

Recommendations to other buyers: Call UDA and let them give you a demo. If you do buy it, don't get intimidated, just move your contacts over and in the process you'll find how intuitive everything is and go from there.

Comments: I called in to speak with someone about product support for a program recently purchased from UDA (Construction Suite). Ben Willis from UDA answered the phone and assisted me with every question...which were many. Ben was extremely knowledgeable, very curious and a true gentleman with professional skills exceeding my expectations. His level of knowledge with this product was beyond and above my expectations. Comments: As a real estate developer, you need to have all your information readily accessible. And that is what CS does for any company, no matter what size. The dashboard concept is outstanding and really intuitive. High marks for the level of detail, and the knowledge that the software developers have in construction allowing for a seamless integration between tech and homebuilding.

Pros: The ease afforded the busy home building executive to stay on top of all the important stuff.

Cons: With the level of detail the software offers, one can at times, feel that the maximum benefit is being left on the table.

Recommendations to other buyers: There are copious amounts of building software out there, but the thoughtful feature of mobility, cloud based connectivity and depth of capabilities in everything from budgeting, scheduling and communication just can't be beat. A tremendous value for the money, with unsurpassed customer service.

Comments: I love using UDA both the online and desktop versions! They have streamlined our estimating and scheduling as well as increased our accuracy, communication, and the overall job flow.

Pros: so many features, great customer support (and a real person answering the phone when you call!), allows for continuity within the company and increased communication.

Cons: So many features it can get overwhelming figuring out all the details and how to best use each feature.

Comments: As a general contractor this program provides me with two ways to input data from sub contractors. The lump sum price, or a break down of the materials which I seldom use because subcontractor costs to my clients do not need that. I can schedule projects, break them up into my building types, and file ones that were decline to make finding current jobs easier. Tecch support is easy to use and they always take care of my problems. As a general contractor , I would recommend this program to all contractors, especially general contractors

Comments: UDA was new to me when I came on board with this new company as director of construction I've used many other applications over the years but I found UDA to have a very friendly dashboard interface. When building a schedule I like that I can bring in any other format and work with it and export back to someone in that same format. The options are unlimited for setting up my schedule and adding new task predecessors Milestone or whatever I need simply at one click. When building an estimate I like that it has pre-formatted estimate and all the CSI divisions as well as offering me a blank and residential and Commercial

Pros: I love the price compared to procore and others it's a phenomenal value. Thereon wine sweet application is phenomenal for connecting your field supervision with your subcontractor Base, building submittals, RFI's, posting plans excetera

Cons: To get the full value which doesn't limit you you need to buy construction suite online that gives you the ability to integrate your field supervision with your work

Comments: Used primarily as for its Estimating functions. Good that it links to Quickbooks, however the compatibility with Construction Online could still have improvements. Not all functions are available/compatible with Construction Online. Better integration and Online functionality would be appreciated. Converting an Estimate to a Proposal document to share with client works well. Proposal documents can be customized and edited. Setup takes a bit of work and there are some shortcomings, however overall this function is very useful.

Comments: Construction Suite is an amazing software with endless possibilities!

Pros: The customer service for UDA Technologies is AMAZING! They're kind, helpful, and their response time is wonderful! Construction Suite is probably the best computer software I've come across in the 4 years I've been working in the Project Management industry. It includes everything you need in a job from beginning to end; scheduling, estimating, cost data, project management, ect. The fact that they have a YouTube channel dedicated to teaching you everything about the software is genius!

Cons: There really isn't anything I don't like about the software. It is a little complex and takes a lot of reviewing and practice to figure the program out completely, but I think that's only because the software offers so many different products in one software. I would have liked to have a longer trial period for the software. 10 days just isn't enough to decide if this is the software I want to pay a pretty penny for. It is a little expensive, so a longer period of time to try out the product would be productive and proactive for the company to offer. I think they could pull in more business if they extended a trial to 30 days.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you need a program that has it all in one, this is it, and quite frankly, the only one I've ever found to include estimating cost data AND project management rolled into one.

Comments: I've been using the UDA Construction Suite software for over ten years now. It's an excellent program that integrates with Quickbooks, making it valuable for the small to medium construction company.

Pros: It's modules are easy to learn, and you can "pick and choose" which capabilities you need. For instance, you can use the scheduling module or ignore it completely. The support staff is exceptional and the webinars and recording "youtube" videos are most helpful in learning the program.

Recommendations to other buyers: UDA is constantly updating and adding new features. I believe you have to "keep up" with the changes or you will quickly fall behind.

Comments: We have been using Construction Suites for over 3 years and it gets better every few months with upgrades. As an Architectural firm with project management this fits our needs in many ways that reduce our workload and also keeps our information on projects in a central location.

Pros: The ability to track all projects within one program

Cons: limited controls on certain online features in the Punch list module

Recommendations to other buyers: Spend time with the free online download and make sure you understand how it works. It is easy! Once you buy it, it gets even better as you develop your own database.
