Cons

They can improve their marketing tool a bit more, there can be some automation with triggering functionality.

Couldn't use it to satisafaction but I know people who worked well with it

Pros

I like the vetting process, making sure users don't spam.

Cons

The customer is weird, they didn't approve my account for whatever reason, no explanation, I sent mail and still no explanation, they only reffered me to some policies none of which I violated.

Pros

The new campaign of sendgrid made sending newsletter and batch email easier in a user friendly platform. The average marketer will without a doubt find what he is looking for with sengrid for a lower price than other provider.

Cons

Sending emails using a csv file is not way harder and almost impossible since they removed the legacy newsletter.

High email deliverability assured better sales prospects for my marketing campaigns.

Pros

After trying and testing out many SMTP services, I have found the best and highly reliable SMTP service for my emailing needs. It definitely provides me the higher delivery rates for my marketing campaigns.

Cons

At first, I was held back by its pricing plans so decided to opt just for its SMTP services. Also, some of the advanced features were quite overwhelming for me and were also difficult to find those in their documentation.

Nothing. It barely does the basic and still overcharge you.

Cons

They lie to you in the sales pitch and overcharge you. Customer Service is non existent. When they do reply and just don't care. Worst product that I have ever used.

Pros

I'm primarily using this service as a SMTP relay and it has done very well! I was easily able to setup a API relay and confirm SPF records to make it all proper like! To top all this off its a free service for sending less than 100 emails per day. This is fine since I use it to send out notification emails from some of my projects.

Cons

One down side I have come across is that the relay requires a user name and password and that has caused an issue with some smtp clients that only use an email and password to make the connection.

Pros

Fast, reliable, stable, good templates, analytics, great email delivery tool. We've been using it for quite a long time for Marketing purposes and satisfied with the results and options provided.

Cons

Navigation/ UX is a little complicated. Need time to get used to it.

Our overall experience with SendGrid has been good, setup is easy and it needs little to no maintenance.

Pros

Very easy to setup with loads of documentation . We make use of the Email Api for a clients system we manage and after setting it up nearly 2 years ago we have had to make no changes.

Cons

We haven't had any issues and there is nothing we don't like. It does what is says for a very fair price.

Sendgrid is functional, reliable and convenient. I previously used MailChimp but it has become too expensive so I started using Sendgrid and I am looking at its improvements every day. It must be improved, but it is a good tool.

Pros

Useful email marketing tool to send marketing emails and analyze their results. You can easily set up a campaign using the email templates available on the platform or creating your custom ones. The email editor offers two option: design and code. The design editor allows creating custom layouts by dragging and dropping the modules available on Sendgrid, whilst the code editor offers the opportunity to personalize your templates writing your html code. The A/B testing function offers the possibility to test different titles, copy and images to check the most performing ones. Test email and schedule features available. Report and insights accurate and detailed. You can check different views according to different devices in real time. On the left side of the main page, you can constantly check your reputation according to the email you’ve sent and the percentage of bounced emails and the ones marked as spam. It is really convenient.

Cons

By switching from design editor to code editor and back again, at any variation you will lose all your previous work.

Amazing! I truly think I've helped customers out a lot by quickly being able to identify why they aren't receiving emails from Yello. It's created a much smoother troubleshooting process!

Pros

I used Sendgrid frequently when I was in a Support role at Yello, but I find myself still using the tool as a Customer Success Manager. I think it creates a great customer experience when clients reach out asking why they aren't receiving emails from Yello. I can quickly check and see if their email bounced back and the reasoning behind it.

Cons

Sometimes I found it a little hard to determine the root cause of why an email bounced back, but I think Sendgrid does a great job at providing resources to help determine the cause.

A parte que mais gosta é dos insights dos e-mails enviados. O dashboard com as informações do envio é bem completo e ajuda os usuários a visualizar se as iniciativas estão dando certo e a trabalhar possíveis melhorias.

Cons

Acredito que a interface possa melhorar para garantir uma boa experiência ao usuário. A parte de segmentação de grupos e contatos também é um pouco complicada, mas nada que impossibilite o uso.

We are using SendGrid for our Magento2 Ecommerce site to send transactional emails such as new registration, new orders and order updates. We found this very affordable and almost 99.99% rates of email deliverability unless the email id is incorrect. We are even using this for our newsletter and there as well the delivery rate is very good and also spam complains is very low. Previously we have used some other tools but this is giving us very good results.

Pros

\- Affordable and cost effective. - High delivery rates. - Easy API integration & easily create API keys to use. - Very good for transactional emails.

Cons

\- No such cons found till now so cant say exactly.

Positive experience. Sendgrid is used as a reference solution within other tools such as Landbot and Xenioo (chatbot builder) and is very easy to use. The value for money becomes a disadvantage as the number of mailings increases

Pros

Scalability, good price and intuitive interface make SendGrid one of the best solutions when you need to send emails via a simple, reliable, stable and very responsive API

Cons

If your contact list is very large, pricing is no longer so convenient. When I needed support, I didn't get any quick or helpful answers right from the start.

We use Sendgrid to send several e-mails from our SaaS platform website, where we control the e-mails sent, those that do not reach the customer and thus we can monitor, r and identify the behavior of e-mails sent and received.

Pros

• Manage unsubscribe emails.   Full detailed report. You can see if the email has been blocked, returned or delivered. • Protects our domain from SPAM complaints. • It allows you to check if the problem of receiving emails is at the client or at our company. • The cost benefit is very good and the free plan is very functional. • It has excellent usability and performance and facilitates the management of multiple domains.

Cons

It does not allow the configuration of personalized shipments, example: My system sends emails for daily backlogs, and this overloads the mailbox of some customers who have many backlogs pending. It could allow you to set up a specific shipping period per customer, such as every 7 days.

Excellent customer service in comparison to other email service providers.

Pros

The customer service really stands out with SendGrid in comparison to other email service providers. When you can carry a conversation with a competent professional who actually understands the software they are supporting, it makes a huge difference these days.

Cons

I'm not a huge fan of their email builder, but this is more a matter of personal preference. I find it a tad inefficient in comparison to some others I've used in the past.

A shame !!! We are paying the pro plan and I don't have any answer to a question in more than a week. I have my welcome email that doesn't work, (all of my other emails are working, so there is no reason), and they don't care.

Pros

I don't want to say anything good after my experience with sendgrid.

Cons

There is no customer service, i sent at least 3 emails in 10 days and i didn't have any answer.

Overall Sendgrid has the features we need and since templates are generally set and forget any difficulties there are manageable. The logging/tracking is great.

Pros

SendGrid is very easy to use for troubleshooting email delivery issues and resolving any issues when we do come across them. The dashboard is very informative and offers nice features for day-to-day management of transactional emails.

Cons

Setting up new templates can be a little confusing. They do have a visual editor for those of use that don't know html but it feels a little clunky sometimes. Additionally there are some cart before the horse workflows where you need to create items first and then go back and link them to other things after the fact.
