And To have client details stored securely. The checklists are a great way to remind one to what needs to be done and to be able to do the risk assessments right on a tablet rather than take printouts. No more wasting paper so it odd help the environment Cons I wish there was a dedicated Desktop app. Having the address bar at top of the website is the only draw back. I’d like to have it open full screen. Having the option to make it a web app on my iPhone is awesome as it removes the address bar but I wish there was a way to replicate this for my Amazon fire tablet (which I plan to use as my on site device) and also my Mac for planning at home. I'm pleased we're helping you to do your bit for the environment! We don't have any plans for a dedicated desktop app I'm afraid. You should though be able to make your browser full screen by hitting F11 (Windows/Chrome) or Cmd-Ctrl-F (Safari/iOS). On you Amazon device you'd need to install as 3rd party launcher I believe. And that's fine, I've deliberately kept the mandatory steps and form fields to a minimum so that you can elect to use as little or as many of them as works for you. The NOTAMs are pulled in every hour at the moment but we're looking to increase that frequency so they're even more current! We've looked at making elements of the system available offline but, because everything is database driven, at the moment haven't found a workable solution. We'll keep trying though. RM Richard M. Pros It combines all of the necessary functions for carrying out commercial drone operations in one place. I haven't found another software package that does this. Cons Whilst anyone using DJI products has an almost fully automated post-flight process, this is not the same for other product makes e.g. Yuneec. Looking at all flights, without accessing a particular job, is not easy and so I still use a separate program for recording flights. Did you know that because we leverage AirData, the auto flight log sync works for more than just DJI products. You can sync logs for Yuneec, Parrot, Freefly and Wingcopter drones as well as for apps like DroneDeploy, Pix4D, Litchi and others. Also, please have a look at the flight report in Dronedesk "Reports > Flight logs". It allows you to review flights by date, pilot and drone in a couple of clicks. Pros I really admire the ongoing development of this software. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] not only listens to feedback but reacts speedily to new features and corrections. I particularly like the way it now integrates with Airdata to automatically import my flight logs. Cons I have found that there is a bit of a learning curve in getting to grips with this software, but that in part is due to the massive range of features it offers. This reduces time spent planning operations. Pros The plans are fantastic and save a lot of time in the planning stages for commercial operations. Cons Not being able to set or format the page to how I would like to see it. Because of our integration of maps, hazard data, NOTAMs, weather and so on, at the last count, using Dronedesk saves you visiting at least five other websites to collate information and data for safe flight planning. The planning and map functionality is excellent! Makes planning a flight very clear and informative for clients. Pros The ease of use and the thoughtful features available, the developers have listened to all the demands of users and really adapted the features and capabilities of the software to enable users to fulfil their needs. Cons The link between the different categories of projects, leads, and clients is a little confusing. Additionally, there is multiple ways to 'start' adding a job... which is a bit confusing as to the best workflow to do this. However, beneficial once understood. Generally the software is excellent, so a least liked feature is quite hard to decide.
