### "Effective and easy to use prescription management"

Covetrus vRxPro is a great way to streamline outside and online prescriptions to maximize profit rather than outsourcing to Chewy. The automatic writeback frees up time for reception and leaves little room for human error. Only writes back every 24 hours which isn't ideal for a busy practice, but perfectly functional for a small 1-2 doctor practice

Pros

Very user friendly, requires little training for staff to grasp the concept. Writes back to automatically to practice software which decreases workload from staff.

Cons

Has bugs that occur more often than they should that prevents logging in and prescribing medication as well as writeback. Will have writeback errors where it needs extra time to import information to the practice software. The writeback schedule is every 24 hours, but it would be ideal if it updated multiple times a day, especially for large volume clinics.

Overall my experience is a 10 out of 10. Onboarding in the beginning was an adjustment but that is with anything new.

Pros

It allows us to help the client from our side instead of instructions via email or phone. Also, allows us to place the RX on file on the client's account and an email is sent letting them know their RX is ready to order. Also, the entire staff are very helpful from the simplest issues to the complex RX issues. Highly recommend changing to this online pharmacy. We have had 3 and by far this one is the best. On an administrative side, best supplied reports as well as the ability to put in parameters of choice to produce information.

Cons

It would be nice if they offered a way for Care Credit to be used.

Alot of software problems, causing medical record nightmares. Writeback is nice but when it doesn't work it causes double trouble. It was a real bummer to be limited on pricing. It would be nice to be able to turn individual items on and off again, not just groupings. Note, some of these may have changed recently haven't had a chance to look at updates.

Pros

You are able to help the client on our end with just about anything including shipping, orders, autoship etc Customer service is getting better

Cons

1\. Prescriptions come thru as 1, the client got 12. This makes it a huge amount of work to see how many the patient actually has for a year. 2. Requests for refills come thru from Autoship, this should only last a year, or should have the option to end at some point. 3. Not able to do whatever pricing the CLINIC demes their normal 4. Compounding has been a nightmare, would be nice to be notified if a patient's approved order is delayed by XXX amount of time. This isn't a software or website issue.

Overall, it is very useful and very nice for a practice to have on board. We have too many clients taking their business elsewhere because it is simpler to ship to their house. This stops all of this, and in turn helps the veterinarians out there battling with Chewy, etc.

Pros

Very user friendly, helps keep our clients buying through their veterinarian.

Cons

We have had numerous occasions where the requests in the queue were not actually made by the client. On occasion they are in the queue due to autoship and there is no way to differentiate them from one another without putting more work on ourselves. This leads to the approval of a script that they are able to get, charging the client money, and the client then calling saying they never requested the product, etc. and why would we charge them for something they didn't request. Then we have to explain how it looked on our side and that since we didn't process the charge we would have to call the company. We have lost a client over this, and when calling to ask if there was a way to know if it is auto-ship vs. request, I was told that I could look in their previous order to see if it was auto-ship.

Seems that once everything was transferred to vRxPro, the overall experience began to decline significantly.

Pros

At first we loved it; easy to us and clients to use.

Cons

We received little to no help from Covetrus navigating the compounding licensing issue I'm not sure what happened in 2023, but the pharmacy started to decline. We began transitioning to a new online pharmacy in August 2024, and we have no regrets about that decision. Many clients complained about shipping times and the lack of communication regarding backorders and out-of-stock items. Additionally, there were instances where credit cards had holds placed on them for two weeks, even though the products hadn't shipped yet. We received little to no assistance from Covetrus in navigating the compounding licensing issue at the end of 2023. Wait times for customer support were sometimes over 30 minutes, and online chat was seldom available.at the end of 2023. Wait times were sometimes over 30 minutes and online chat wasn't available much.

### "Bad shipping times"

Shipping times are atrocious! We have had so many clients complaining about it taking over a week just for their order to be shipped out, not even delivered. They then get angry and blame us when they run out of their prescriptions and we have to do damage control when we have no control over it. When you enter in information when authorizing scripts it does not keep the information you enter like the expiration dates, or gives you an error message. This takes up a lot of our valuable time that we don't have if we need to keep refreshing the page. You end up having to refresh multiple times it can STILL keep giving you errors. We are considering switching to another online pharmacy.

Pros

Trust the products sent to clients are authentic and stored properly

Cons

Shipping times Filling in information for scripts

It’s all integrated within the system under one umbrella.

Cons

It can be tricky to learn at first. The UI isn’t too user friendly for older less tech savvy individuals. Server can be laggy at times.

Pros

integrating into Pulse. Really can't say much more but apparently have to in order to finish this.

Cons

no Free shipping on food orders unless they are auto shipped. Low profit margins and not being able to control pricing like we did with the old system. Compounding pharmacy does not have as many options as say Wedgewood. Support has been spotty and for some reason you can keep inside reps available to us.

It's very convenient for clients and it is helpful as we cannot keep every medication on our shelves.

Pros

The system is fairly easy to navigate. The update made it even more user friendly. I do wish the writebacks were automatically applied rather than manually having to link it to the client/pet.

Cons

Every once in a while, we do not get a email notification to log in to approve requested medication

Pros

Cons

We can't see clients' order history from before the upgraded platform. We have to call in to get that info, which is time consuming.

We switched over from VetSource and the difference has been astounding. It is far easier to write a script and send it to clients. We have had a large increase in the amount of clients that are using our online store rather than a third party. No regrets that we switched to Covetrus vRxPro!

How easy the website is to use for staff and for clients.

Cons

Not having an option to be able to print out a declined script or that the declined script does not propagate into Avimark.

It is extremely easy to approve, send, or edit a prescription.

Cons

When we edit a client's rx request, it sends them a notice saying it was declined and then an entirely new rx request is sent to the client. This has caused a lot of confusion for clients.
