Pros

I am incredibly impressed with HelloFund. Their software has simplified the entire fundraising process and made it so much more efficient. The user-friendly interface and robust features have made managing our campaigns a breeze. With HelloFund, we have experienced higher engagement, increased donations, and better overall results. They are the true pros of fundraising software!

Cons

The only downside is that I wish I had the opportunity to work with them more frequently.

amazing customer service, very easy to use, constantly improving software. Whether you're managing a small gathering or a large-scale fundraiser, the tools are built to support your success without adding complexity.

Cons

One of the improvements this software made was adding the ability to print bid sheets through the system! I wish the bid sheets were more customizable, but hopefully that can be upgraded in the future.

### "Easy to use fundraising software for personal fundraising campaigns"

We have used HelloFund for our past two fundraising campaigns that we hold in conjunction with our annual Tackle Pet Hunger pet food drive. We've had very good experiences with setting up the campaigns each year. The first year I had a few questions, which were quickly and satisfactorily answered by HelloFund. They have been very good to work with!

Pros

HelloFund is very easy to set up and navigate. It's very user friendly and intuitive and integrates with Stripe, which we already use for payment processing.

Cons

Overall, HelloFund is a great choice for fundraising campaigns. The biggest drawback is that you must specifically invite or manually add individual fundraisers to set up pages for your campaign. There is no easy way for an individual to see the campaign and decide to set up a page without contacting the organization or being invited in the first place. This hasn't been a problem for us, but it definitely is an area that could be improved.

### "Hello Fund Delivers"

I have used 5 other platforms over the course of over 10 years in fundraising. I have used Hello Fund since 2018 exclusively. It's been worth every penny and I know in part responsible for the success of our events.

Pros

The platform is really customizable. We have used them for a number of different events and always been able to tailor it to our fundraising needs. The few times the software didn't already do what we wanted, they found a way to be innovative and meet the need. Also the staff is just so knowledgeable and easy to work with - exceptional customer service and responsiveness. Alleviates a lot of stress and work on our part in prepping for an event. This also translates to a good experience for our donors and participants, making them much more likely to stay engaged with the bidding, buying and supporting of the event.

Cons

I think the only thing I've had others say to me about Hello Fund vs another platform is that it could be a little more expensive. I think this is a case of you get what you pay for. If investing in good technology and expertise translates to revenue, it's a good investment. This has been the case for us with each event and why we have remained with Hello Fund for years now.

None of them really met our needs. Customer service wasn't good or consistent. They weren't cost effective based on what we needed. Some didn't offer what we needed and couldn't customize their products

We had an excellent experience with HelloFund. The platform enabled our PTO to create a professional, user-friendly website where parents could learn about our gala, purchase tickets, and bid on auction items. The application streamlined the check-in process, simplified logging live auction bids and raffle purchases, and made guest checkout effortless at the end of the fundraiser. From setup to post-event, HelloFund’s customer support was outstanding, promptly addressing all our questions and ensuring a seamless event. As we hadn’t hosted a gala in over six years, \[sensitive content hidden\] guidance was invaluable in helping us plan and execute a successful evening.

Pros

HelloFund helped our elementary school PTO run two successful silent auctions, and a successful live auction and gala. We loved that it was a flat fee and the customer service provided is unmatched.

Cons

The application is very customizable which we liked, but of course not every single aspect of it could be customized so we had to pivot a few times to make it work for us.

Customer service is TOP NOTCH. I have actually never had this good of service from ANYONE before. Not even a 5 star hotel. \[sensitive content hidden\] is absolutely amazing.

Hello fund is easy to use with little experience. I was able to create our website without much guidance but when I did need help \[sensitive content hidden\] was ALWAYS there! I always knew I could count on him when in a pinch.

Cons

Would like more “help” or “how to videos” so that we are not always calling w questions that could probably easily be answered w a short search in the “help section”. Also would like to be able to create custom reports.

From setting up the welcome page, to crafting communications, to coming in person to support on event night, I felt confident in knowing that attendees would have great customer service. This allowed me to focus on other event management needs.

Pros

The event management was very user-friendly. Also, it was extremely helpful that we could directly integrate our CRM, Bloomerang, with HelloFund. I was able to upload all of the sales (tickets, sponsorships, auction items, and paddle sales) seamlessly into Bloomerang. It saved me hours of manually importing data.

Cons

I can't think of any cons. It was a great experience, and there weren't any issues that we ran into. If there were, \[sensitive content hidden\] and his team figured out a way fix them.

For the past two years the Anderson High School Football Booster Club has used HelloFund to manage our primary fundraiser, The Blue & Gold Golf Tournament. We rely on this tournament to fund most of our annual Booster Club support for the football program so an efficient and user friendly platform is essential. Also, being able to manage and deliver for the Sponsors is critical to the success of the tournament and HelloFund is fantastic on this front. The tournament has had better returns each year, with double digit percentage increases to our net income year on year, thanks in large part to HelloFund's functionality and support. \[sensitive content hidden\] , who ran both the Silent and Live Auctions, explained it best: HelloFund has a simple interface and the team, led by \[sensitive content hidden\] is amazing! \[sensitive content hidden\] went on to say that there was great communication with constant support that is responsive and helpful.

What I like more about this software is that it is so simple to use. When we were making the switch over from Classy, we had been with them for over 5 years and I was so worried to change over and have to learn how to use all the different back end things. It has been a breeze to learn and even when I have a question, the communicate has been top tier. They are always there to answer your questions and they are so fast at getting back to you!

Cons

The only thing that I dislike about this software that we had with classy is we can make an offline donation and offline sponsorship so it would be marked that way in the backend. They haven't yet gotten around to doing this but I have mentioned it to them and they said they are working on it and something will be done in the future!

The pricing may have been more expensive but for what we were looking for this was our best choice out of the two!

This is a very straightforward donor platform. It is easy to use and if help is ever needed for our donation or event pages, customer service is immediately available. They say you get what you pay for, but with this extremely affordable platform, we get far more than what we pay. It's user friendly, provides easy access to donor reports, integration was simple, and customer service is so incredibly helpful. There's so much to like about HelloFund there isn't just one we like the most.

I do wish minor aesthetic aspects of this software was a little more advanced but regardless, it gets the job done - and well.

I can't say enough good things about HelloFund and its incredible staff. They listen to their clients and understand their needs. They have created user friendly, turn-key fundraising platforms that make it easy for nonprofits to raise funds!

Hellofund allows our school volunteers to operate a storefront for spiritwear and outreach event ticketing while the administration uses it for major events, fundraising, and sponsorships.

Pros

The main benefit of this system is the personalized support and service received. Unlike most other corporate systems, Hellofund is backed by a real person who knows you and your nonprofit.

It would be great to interface with donors during an event with software communications features.

Integration with our existing business processes was seamless and easy, and that was our biggest concern when we started. Nothing to worry about! You are able to customize and we appreciate that personal touch.

Cons

Communicate with the staff any concerns because they have truly made this a user-friendly software model and we have never come across any issues that they couldn't help us understand how to work through.

Fantastic!

Pros

Working with the Hellofund team has been fantastic! Hellofund employees were always accessible, helpful, and insightful during our critical funding procedures for our annual fundraiser. The night-of went very smoothly, thanks in part to this hard working team!

Cons

At first, the backend of the software is a little daunting but I was able to learn to navigate through it on my own!

Overall, our nonprofit is extremely happy with the simple, professional, attentive and successful approach that HelloFund provided for our virtual fundraiser. Working with \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] to create a customized event page was easy and enjoyable. I would highly recommend HelloFund to anyone running an online event, virtual fundraiser, ticket sales page, store or wanting a user-friendly web page for collecting donations.

Pros

We loved using HelloFund for our Virtual Fundraiser. The all-in-one event web page made it easy for our donors to access every aspect of the virtual event, including the custom pages made for us by \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] incredible attention to detail and high level of customer service made turning an event from in-person to virtual seamless and successful. The entire HelloFund portal from set up and design to launching and hosting was very user friendly. Receiving financial information after the event was also incredibly easy, which is very important to our nonprofit.

Cons

There were truly no aspects of the software that were difficult to use or impaired our event. One feature that would have benefited us to have is more customization with the donation buttons. As opposed to just selecting specific dollar values for donors to select, being able to label purchases "ticket" with the ticket cost automatically populating in the sub total would be fantastic.
