My overall experience with HelloFund for our gala was great. They are very organized and don't mind getting things taken care of in advance which is how we are most successful.

Pros

From setting up the welcome page, to crafting communications, to coming in person to support on event night, I felt confident in knowing that attendees would have great customer service. This allowed me to focus on other event management needs.

Pros

The event management was very user-friendly. Also, it was extremely helpful that we could directly integrate our CRM, Bloomerang, with HelloFund. I was able to upload all of the sales (tickets, sponsorships, auction items, and paddle sales) seamlessly into Bloomerang. It saved me hours of manually importing data.

Cons

I can't think of any cons. It was a great experience, and there weren't any issues that we ran into. If there were, \[sensitive content hidden\] and his team figured out a way fix them.

Cons

The reports. I felt it difficult to get a simple guest list. I also wish I could have broken it down into what kind of ticket they bought.

Working with \[sensitive content hidden\] and the HelloFund team took so much stress out of our event for us. \[sensitive content hidden\] was very hands on with our team and ensured we were using the HelloFund platform to its fullest extent, which made a big difference in our donors having a positive experience at our event.

Pros

This was the smoothest an event with an auction has gone for us and that is due in large part to \[sensitive content hidden\] and his team's customer service and expertise with the platform. From a donor experience, everything was seamless, user friendly and quick. I highly recommend HelloFund for any of your event needs!

Honestly the only thing that was difficult was getting contact information from our table hosts for the people sitting at their tables and that doesn't have anything to do with HelloFund. Having that information allowed us to utilize text messaging for our auction and event communication which our donors really liked.

All was good! I did receive error/form resubmission page responses several times throughout the night, so I often spent time refreshing my page and starting over the check-in/out process for guests. Like anything, as I use the platform more, it will get easier.

Pros

I liked the butler feature for check-in. I appreciated how easy it was to use when checking bidders in at the beginning of the event, logging bids during the event, and checking guests out at the end.

Cons

On the back-end, I didn't love the variations of the "view ticket sales," "manage guests," and manage bidders pages. It was nice that they all updated with each other, but in a pinch, it was inconvenient to need to remember which one I can use to edit guest information directly, view certain fields, etc. This could be some amount of user error on my end, but we often got confused between these different pages/sheets and their capabilities.

For the past two years the Anderson High School Football Booster Club has used HelloFund to manage our primary fundraiser, The Blue & Gold Golf Tournament. We rely on this tournament to fund most of our annual Booster Club support for the football program so an efficient and user friendly platform is essential. The platform provides excellent communication, accounting and operational support. The graphics look sharp and the Hello Fund staff is accommodating and capable.

Pros

Very well organized, easy to use and flexible. Highly professional site. In talking to sponsors and donors, they all stated the payment method was simple and straight forward.

Cons

We do not have any negative to say. We would use Hello Fund again. Being in Austin was a plus, however the staff was reachable and responsive virtually as well.
