I am unsure how I ever managed to carry out Arboricultural works without it. An essential tool. Pros The more the program is used, the more powerful it tends to become. The things I like least are yet to jump out with nothing but a positive experience so far. No report writing necessary - data is captured live. The platform could also be used to gather more detailed inspection notes and work recommendations on challenging/complex trees. To assist in this process, some adjustments could be made to create larger fields (more characters) for inspection notes and work notes. Then the ability to produce individual reports on these trees would help council staff in discussing the job with team members, managers and decision makers. It also helps if an individual tree requires planning consent for recommended works to take place. Pros Easy to use. Quick. Good map interface when inspecting trees. Cons Limited character space when entering detailed inspection notes and work notes. Not all trees required detailed nots, but some trees do. Unable to add species names when in the field. Unable to generate individual tree reports when detailed assessments carried out. Significant tree should be called regulated tree. Variable use of terms between different Local Governments. The administration settings allow administrators to adjust settings such as contractor permission. Its likely your access as a contractor is limited by your client (maybe have a chat with them about increasing your permission so you can add species in the field and generate reports.
