### "Convenient, Reliable, and Seamlessly Integrated Across Apple Devices"

August 14, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with iCloud was positive and convenient. I liked how well it integrated with my Apple devices and automatically kept important information such as photos, files, contacts, notes, passwords, and backups synchronized. It reduced the need for manual transfers and made it easy to access my information across different devices. The automatic backup and recovery features also gave me peace of mind that my data was protected if I lost, replaced, or upgraded a device. The main drawbacks were the limited free storage and occasional confusion around storage management and synchronization. As the amount of photos, videos, backups, and other data increased, managing the available storage became more challenging and sometimes made a paid plan feel necessary. Despite these limitations, I found iCloud to be a reliable, well-integrated service that made managing and accessing my data much easier overall.

Pros

What I liked most about iCloud was how seamlessly it kept my information and content synchronized across all of my Apple devices. It made it easy to access photos, files, contacts, notes, passwords, and other important information without having to manually transfer or update anything. I also appreciated the automatic backups, which provided peace of mind that my data could be recovered if I lost or replaced a device. The overall experience felt convenient, reliable, and well integrated into the Apple ecosystem, with minimal setup or ongoing effort required.

Cons

One of the things I liked least about iCloud was that the free storage capacity felt limited, especially with photos, videos, device backups, and other files accumulating over time. Once the storage filled up, it could become difficult to manage what was being backed up or synchronized, and upgrading to a paid storage plan felt almost necessary for regular use. I also found that iCloud could sometimes be confusing when managing storage, understanding what was actually stored in the cloud versus locally on a device, or troubleshooting synchronization issues. While the overall integration with Apple devices was convenient, the experience could be less straightforward when something wasn't syncing correctly.

### "Makes working across my Apple devices effortless"

September 6, 2026

5.0

iCloud has become an important part of how I work across Apple devices. I regularly move between my iMac, iPhone and iPad, and having the same files available everywhere makes that process much easier. I use it for storing and managing documents, sharing files and keeping work-related data synchronized without thinking about it too much. Even signed PDFs and other important documents are easy to keep accessible from whichever device I am using. For an Apple-based workflow, I think the overall value is very good. I have rarely needed customer support because the service has generally worked reliably for me.

Pros

The best part of iCloud for me is how naturally it works across my iMac, iPhone and iPad. I can save a work file on one device and continue with it on another without having to manually transfer anything. File management feels simple, sharing documents is quick, and there is almost no learning curve if you already use Apple devices. It removes a lot of small steps from my daily workflow.

Cons

Storage management could be a little clearer, especially when backups, photos and work files start using a lot of space. Sometimes it takes a bit of checking to understand exactly what is consuming storage. I have also seen occasional delays in syncing, but they have been rare and have never been a serious problem for my workflow.

### "Eh, iCloud could be better. "

May 4, 2026

Fix the storage issue, Apple! Why am I paying for additional storage and still getting the message that there's no storage?

Pros

I like that I can sync my photos, files, messages, and music across multiple devices. ICloud also makes it easier to communicate via wifi when cellular service is unavailable.

Cons

Where do I start? There is never enough storage on your device, even though you have iCloud access. I currently pay 2.99 for additional storage, yet I still get the message that iCloud is full. If you have a device that is updated and another that isn't, the sync function is thrown off. Why can't I remove Apple apps that I do not use?

### "Great but stingy "

May 29, 2026

4.0

Very good to sync data effortlessly with all my devices, MacBook, iPad and iPhone. Its saved me a couple occasions whilst in a meeting I left a file on my MacBook that I wanted to share with a client, fortunately it was on my iCloud and I could access it no problem.

Pros

The ease of use, that it works across all my devices with pretty much no set up, perfectly ideal for my business.

Cons

Compared to other cloud based services you really don't get much for your money in terms of storage. The likes of Amazon, Microsoft and Google surpass iCloud by a country mile.

Alternatives considered

[OneDrive](https://www.capterra.com/p/161304/OneDrive/)[Google Drive](https://www.capterra.com/p/161425/Drive/)

Reason for choosing iCloud

Built into both iOS and MacOS so its almost a no brainer to use it.

### "Seamless and Reliable Cloud Storage for Apple Users"

September 11, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with iCloud has been very positive. It’s easy to set up, reliable, and works seamlessly across Apple devices. File syncing and sharing are simple, and I rarely run into bugs or issues. The main drawback is the limited included storage, but overall it’s a very convenient and dependable service.

Pros

The biggest thing I like about iCloud is how seamlessly it works across Apple devices. Files, photos, contacts, and other information stay synced without having to manually move things around. It’s simple, reliable, and makes accessing information from different devices very convenient.

Cons

The main downside is that storage can fill up fairly quickly, especially with photos and backups. The pricing for additional storage is reasonable, but I wish the included storage was more generous. Some settings and file management options can also be a little confusing at first.

### "By the time I get back, the job site photos."

September 3, 2026

5.0

I don't usually bother with reviews but this actually solved a problem. Our field documentation used to be a mess of texts, email attachments, and guys forgetting to upload photos until days later. Now everything just appears where it needs to be. For a small operation managing multiple sites with crews who aren't desk people, it works without anyone needing training. Worth the storage cost we pay.

Pros

I coordinate crews across twelve facilities, and honestly, everyone’s already on an iPhone anyway. Photos from maintenance jobs just hit my desk automatically. Inspection reports stay current between the truck and the office, and when a crew lead updates a site checklist, I see it in real time. No more texting myself files or waiting for someone to get back to the office to upload documentation.

Cons

Storage fills up faster than I expected with all the job site photos and equipment manuals we keep accessible. The Windows app on our office machines feels clunky compared to how smooth everything works on the phones. Occasionally a file takes longer to sync when someone's out in a facility with weak signal, but that's more the building than the platform.

### "A service that works weel even if limited"

July 26, 2026

4.0

Pros

iCloud is a must for anyone with an iPhone, iPad or Mac computer. Since all of Apple's ecosystem is tighly intergrated with iCloud, it's a no brainer to use it instead or dropbox or onedrive on these products. The customer support is also very good.

Cons

The fact that the free space is limited to 5gb of free for all shared devices is a very little, specially since the device backups are stored in icloud.

### "Easy and Convenient for Keeping Everything Synced"

August 25, 2026

4.0

Pros

I liked how easy iCloud makes it to keep everything in one place and access my files and photos across different devices. It’s convenient and works seamlessly without needing much setup.

Cons

Sometimes the storage fills up quickly, and managing files or figuring out what is taking up space can be a little frustrating.

### "iCloud storage"

September 14, 2026

4.0

Overall I think it is not as relevant to use unless you pay for storage or you need it. I definitely think that there should be more freedom when it pertains to storage when using an apple product for storage.

Pros

What I like most about this software is that it is easy to use when you are using and/ or sharing an apple product.

Cons

What I least like about it is that is fills up quickly if you are using the free storage that is provided.

### "Great for mac and apple users"

August 4, 2026

4.0

It is nice to use amongst all my devices. It makes it easy to share files between myself. It is also easy to sign things and upload to whatever device I need. I just wish the monthly fee for storage was cheaper.

Pros

iCloud is pretty easy to use. It is easy if you have all apple products. I have an iphone, macbook, ipad, apple watch so it all syncs very easily. I like using it for my photos and especially for my contacts. I have had new phones before and transferred my contacts and photos easily with this.

Cons

Sometimes the storage is not very clear though. It is hard to tell what is taking up the space. It is hard to use on a PC. I would recommend using a macbook because it is more compatible. I wish there was more free storage as it is only 5GB. Sometimes I delete a photo on accident and then its gone on all my devices.

### "Reliable Cloud Storage with Easy File Management and Sharing"

June 7, 2026

5.0

The learning curve is low, making it easy to store and access files across devices. It offers good value for money for users who need extra storage and reliable backups. Customer support is generally helpful when problems arise. The file sharing and file management features make it simple to organize and collaborate on documents. While there are occasional bugs and issues, they are usually resolved quickly. Although digital signatures are not a primary feature of iCloud, it works well with apps that support document signing.

Pros

What I like most is it’s automatic syncing and backup. It keeps my photos, files, and contacts updated across all my devices without any extra work.

Cons

There aren’t any cons that I’ve noticed since I have started using iCloud and I’ve used it for about 10 years.

### "A Digital Blessing from Above"

March 10, 2026

5.0

Overall I think iCloud is a very valuable and extremely useful platform and service. It's very intuitive and easy to learn and use from the start.

Pros

Apple's iCloud is an incredible platform and I use it throughout the day every single day. I really love and appreciate that all my data and files are safe, secure, and easily accessible.

Cons

iCloud has very limited storage and regularly really encourages the user to upgrade and purchase more terabytes of storage space. It very much feels necessary since the initial free storage offered fills up fast.

### "Solid Cloud Service That Gets the Job Done"

December 1, 2025

4.0

Overall I think that iCloud is a good product and is very easy to use. If you are looking for a better more secure way to store information without having to physically save it to external drives this exactly what you need.

Pros

I have used apple products my entire life which automoatically signs you up for an icloud account. I feel like it is a very good way to store information and files so that you are always able to retrieve them. I feel like there it’s a very simple application to use with minimal learning curve required. I personally have not had any issues with icloud that required customer support.

Cons

The main issue I have with icloud is that I don’t feel it’s a great value for your money. I personally do not like that you have to pay a monthly fee to store any more that a small percentage of items. The cost for more iCloud storage is very small however paying a small cost for the entirety of your life seems ridiculous to me.

### "iCloud review "

July 13, 2026

5.0

iCloud is an excellent cloud storage and backup service for Apple users. Its automatic syncing, reliable backups, and security make it one of the easiest ways to keep your data safe and accessible across devices. The main drawback is the limited free storage, but for many users, upgrading to iCloud+ is worth the convenience and extra features.

Pros

What I like most: •Automatically backs up photos, videos, contacts, and important files. •Seamlessly syncs across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and even Windows. •Easy to use with no complicated setup. •Strong security features, including encryption and two-factor authentication.

Cons

What I like least: •The free 5 GB storage fills up quickly, especially with photos and backups. •Works best within the Apple ecosystem and offers fewer benefits for Android users. •Storage upgrades require a monthly subscription.

Pros

I love Iclouds ease of use and versatility for what you can store there. I specially use icloud to declutter my phone from photos and videos

### "iCloud: Hide-and-Seek for Your Files"

April 9, 2026

5.0

Using iCloud is like having a friend who’s mostly reliable but occasionally forgets your birthday… or your files. Most of the time, everything syncs perfectly and life is easy. Other times, it’s a thrilling game of “Where did my photo go?”—keeps you on your toes, I guess.

Pros

I love how iCloud quietly steals my files… I mean, backs them up automatically. It’s magical how I can take a photo on my iPhone and—sometimes—actually see it on my Mac without waving a magic wand. Seamless Apple syncing at its finest… when it feels like working.

Cons

The worst part? Files disappear like they’re on vacation, syncing sometimes throws tantrums, and the free storage is basically a tease. Also, sharing with non-Apple users is a fun game of digital hide-and-seek you never asked to play.

### "iCloud is a great cloud service"

March 11, 2026

4.0

iCloud is great for managing my iPhone storage, file saving, and backups. It is well integrated into all services in the Apple account, which makes it of high importance.

Pros

I like it the way it is integrated into my iPhone and how easy to access and store files and documents. Uploading and downloading files from it is similar to using the phone's memory drive in terms of speed and efficiency, and maybe ICloud is a better choice to keep things backed up. Having sufficiently available storage for the free subscription is great. And it has no bugs or technical issues since I started using it. In addition to that, the file sharing and sending feature is so useful.

Cons

Overall, it is doing great, but I can not find a workspace connected to it that works with the best efficiency, so, for example, the default Apple apps are useful but not with the best customisations.

### "Easy To Use, Great For Storage. "

October 27, 2025

4.0

Overall I am very pleased with iCloud. It allows for a large amount of data storage for the information that I want. It makes it also just as easy to upgrade storage to a higher capacity if needed. The functionality is simple and easy to use. That is the big key.

Pros

I like that it easily helps store all of my information that I want saved between photos, passwords, emails, etc. It puts it all in one spot to help manage each account in its individual way.

Cons

Password carryover is hit or miss. Upon switching new cellular phones, its common that not all of the passwords carry over. Additionally, it isn't an email priority for me to use so recovering certain passwords or subscriptions can often be difficult.
