### "Great but stingy "

May 29, 2026

4.0

Very good to sync data effortlessly with all my devices, MacBook, iPad and iPhone. Its saved me a couple occasions whilst in a meeting I left a file on my MacBook that I wanted to share with a client, fortunately it was on my iCloud and I could access it no problem.

Pros

The ease of use, that it works across all my devices with pretty much no set up, perfectly ideal for my business.

Cons

Compared to other cloud based services you really don't get much for your money in terms of storage. The likes of Amazon, Microsoft and Google surpass iCloud by a country mile.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing iCloud

Built into both iOS and MacOS so its almost a no brainer to use it.

### "Automatic Backup"

June 17, 2026

3.0

Pros

The backup and synchronization of data are very interesting compared to Google Drive. To secure your files and find them easily, it is one of the best software.

Cons

The free storage is very limited, which quickly forces you to pay. It works mainly within the Apple ecosystem, so it is not very practical with other devices.

### "iCloud - Your File Management Solution"

May 14, 2026

5.0

Overall, I have had an excellent experience with iCloud, especially when it comes to customer support.

Pros

iCloud provides seamless file sharing and management integration between Apple devices making it very simple to use. At its low price point it is an excellent file management solution.

Cons

The thing I liked least about iCloud is that there is at times bugs and issues with files missing. There also can be a learning curve for those not familiar with the Apple ecosystem of products.

### "1A Reliable Way to Keep My Memories and Files Safe"

July 5, 2026

5.0

Overall, I've had a great experience using iCloud. It has become my go-to backup solution for important photos, documents, and personal files. I appreciate not having to worry about losing my data if I change or reset my phone. The service is reliable, easy to use, and integrates perfectly with Apple devices. While the free storage could be more generous, the convenience and peace of mind make iCloud worth using.

Pros

iCloud has been one of the easiest cloud storage services I've used. Since my first smartphone was an iPhone, it has automatically backed up my photos, documents, contacts, and notes without much effort. Some of my favorite memories, including childhood photos of my niece and pictures from trips with my husband, are safely stored in iCloud. File sharing is simple, and restoring my data when switching devices has always been smooth. The learning curve is minimal because everything works seamlessly in the background.

Cons

1The biggest drawback is the limited free storage, which fills up quickly if you take lots of photos and videos. I also wish storage management and pricing were a bit more flexible for users who only need a small amount of extra space.

### "Reliable Cloud Storage with Easy File Management and Sharing"

June 7, 2026

5.0

The learning curve is low, making it easy to store and access files across devices. It offers good value for money for users who need extra storage and reliable backups. Customer support is generally helpful when problems arise. The file sharing and file management features make it simple to organize and collaborate on documents. While there are occasional bugs and issues, they are usually resolved quickly. Although digital signatures are not a primary feature of iCloud, it works well with apps that support document signing.

Pros

What I like most is it’s automatic syncing and backup. It keeps my photos, files, and contacts updated across all my devices without any extra work.

Cons

There aren’t any cons that I’ve noticed since I have started using iCloud and I’ve used it for about 10 years.

### "Reliable Cloud Storage Solution for Apple Ecosystem Users"

May 18, 2026

5.0

Overall, our experience with Apple iCloud has been positive. It performs very well for file storage, backups, and sharing across Apple devices, while reducing the need for manual file transfers. The platform is especially useful for users who rely heavily on iPhones, iPads, and Mac devices in their daily workflow. Although there are occasional bugs and some limitations for non-Apple users, the convenience, reliability, and ease of use make it a dependable cloud storage and file management solution for both personal and professional use.

Pros

Apple iCloud provides a very smooth and seamless experience across Apple devices. File sharing and file management are simple and convenient, especially for users already working within the Apple ecosystem. Automatic syncing of photos, documents, backups, and notes works reliably and helps improve productivity across devices. The learning curve is relatively low for everyday users, and setup is straightforward. Features like document collaboration and digital signatures through integrated apps make it useful for both personal and business-related tasks. The platform also offers good value for money for users who need secure cloud storage with tight device integration.

Cons

Storage space on the free plan is limited, and upgrading storage can become expensive over time compared to some competitors. Cross-platform functionality outside the Apple ecosystem is not always as smooth, particularly on Windows devices. There can also occasionally be syncing delays or bugs when handling large files or multiple shared folders. Customer support is generally helpful, but troubleshooting more technical sync issues can sometimes take longer than expected.

### "A little Mysterious but Useful"

May 15, 2026

4.0

My overall experience with iCloud has been positive, particularly because of how seamlessly it integrates within the Apple ecosystem. It provides a consistent and reliable way to store, sync, and access files, photos, and backups across devices without requiring much hands-on management. Features like automatic backups, iCloud Photos, and iCloud Drive make it easy to keep important data secure and readily available, which adds a level of convenience that’s hard to overlook.

Pros

What I liked most about iCloud is how seamlessly it integrates across Apple devices. It creates a smooth, connected experience where photos, files, notes, and backups automatically sync between devices without needing manual effort. That level of convenience makes it easy to stay organized and access content from anywhere.

Cons

What I liked least about iCloud is that it can feel somewhat restrictive, especially if you’re working outside of the Apple ecosystem. While it works seamlessly across Apple devices, its functionality is more limited on non-Apple platforms, which can create challenges when trying to share files or collaborate with users who rely on other systems.

### "Reliable, secure and robust"

June 26, 2026

4.0

Been using it for many years for photo and file management. Stable, reliable, fast and simple to use. Never had to reach out to customer support.

Pros

iCloud offers excellent value for money in terms of the amount of storage and the features that it provides. As with most Apple products, there is a minimal learning curve and it rarely has bugs.

Cons

The iCloud experience on Windows / via the browser is fairly poor. The experience across different devices should be seamless.

### "A Digital Blessing from Above"

March 10, 2026

5.0

Overall I think iCloud is a very valuable and extremely useful platform and service. It's very intuitive and easy to learn and use from the start.

Pros

Apple's iCloud is an incredible platform and I use it throughout the day every single day. I really love and appreciate that all my data and files are safe, secure, and easily accessible.

Cons

iCloud has very limited storage and regularly really encourages the user to upgrade and purchase more terabytes of storage space. It very much feels necessary since the initial free storage offered fills up fast.

### "Satisfied cloud user "

April 20, 2026

5.0

All positive! Never had any issues with iCloud before and I will continue to use this as long as I can.

Pros

I love the way that I can easily store my information and share my files that I have saved and know that they are secure. It was not a learning curve at all. Since I got a phone I’ve always used Apple and I will continue to be a portal customer. I’ve never had any bugs or issues with this application. I’ve never had to reach out to customer support. I love that I can easily add my signature digitally without needing any paper. We pay for the family iCloud storage and the price for what we get is extraordinary! Love

Cons

I don’t have any concerns except it would be nice if it was a bit easier to share the storage with my family. It’s a bit complicated but I believe we have it figured out now.

### "Apple tool given for iPhones "

March 10, 2026

3.0

My overall experience has been decent with iCloud. I’m glad it’s there. I just don’t like that you have to pay once you are over your storage limit.

Pros

Either can store pictures and files from your phone on iCloud and it uploads from your phone automatically.

Cons

I feel like it does not provide enough storage and you have to pay for storage, which usually starts out cheap and then you have to get into the higher ranges later on. I also don’t like it will automatically store after you’re out of storage and you may lose pictures.

### "iCloud: Hide-and-Seek for Your Files"

April 9, 2026

5.0

Using iCloud is like having a friend who’s mostly reliable but occasionally forgets your birthday… or your files. Most of the time, everything syncs perfectly and life is easy. Other times, it’s a thrilling game of “Where did my photo go?”—keeps you on your toes, I guess.

Pros

I love how iCloud quietly steals my files… I mean, backs them up automatically. It’s magical how I can take a photo on my iPhone and—sometimes—actually see it on my Mac without waving a magic wand. Seamless Apple syncing at its finest… when it feels like working.

Cons

The worst part? Files disappear like they’re on vacation, syncing sometimes throws tantrums, and the free storage is basically a tease. Also, sharing with non-Apple users is a fun game of digital hide-and-seek you never asked to play.

### "Great app to store everything!"

February 19, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with iCloud is very positive besides the security support issue. I love that everything is all in one place though so that is really cool.

Pros

What I like most about iCloud is that all of my information is stored here and I can get online and also access it.

Cons

What I like least about iCloud is the security features because support isn't helpful when needing help signing in.

### "iCloud Review"

April 22, 2026

5.0

Overall, my experience with iCloud has been very positive. Since I use it regularly, it has become an important tool for keeping my files, memories, and device data backed up and easy to access. It is simple, reliable, and fits naturally into everyday use.

Pros

iCloud is very convenient and easy to use, especially if you are already in the Apple ecosystem. Syncing between iPhone, iPad, and Mac is seamless, and features like photo backup, file storage, and device backup make life a lot easier. It is especially helpful for keeping important information secure and accessible across devices. The automatic syncing is one of its biggest strengths because it saves time and reduces stress.

Cons

One downside is that storage can fill up quickly, especially with photos, videos, and backups. This can lead to needing a paid plan sooner than expected

### "Easy To Use, Great For Storage. "

October 27, 2025

4.0

Overall I am very pleased with iCloud. It allows for a large amount of data storage for the information that I want. It makes it also just as easy to upgrade storage to a higher capacity if needed. The functionality is simple and easy to use. That is the big key.

Pros

I like that it easily helps store all of my information that I want saved between photos, passwords, emails, etc. It puts it all in one spot to help manage each account in its individual way.

Cons

Password carryover is hit or miss. Upon switching new cellular phones, its common that not all of the passwords carry over. Additionally, it isn't an email priority for me to use so recovering certain passwords or subscriptions can often be difficult.

### "“Seamless Syncing with a Few Storage Limitations”"

April 24, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with iCloud has been positive. It’s a convenient and reliable service that keeps important data like photos, contacts, and files synced across devices automatically.

Pros

What I like most about iCloud is how seamlessly it works across Apple devices. Everything—photos, contacts, files, and backups—syncs automatically, so you can access your data anytime without extra effort.

Cons

What I like least about iCloud is the limited free storage. The 5GB you get fills up quickly, especially with photos, backups, and files, which often pushes you toward a paid plan.

### "Storage and Collaboration that I Need for My Photo Studio."

October 19, 2025

5.0

iCloud has revolutionized the way we manage client photoshoots and send proofs. It is easy to organize shots by event and client, minimizing mistakes and enabling us to send faster. Keeping images safely on-the-go has enabled me to maintain my business in a flexible yet professional state.

Pros

Being a photographer with White Pine Photography, the ease of file sharing and organization with iCloud is a blessing. I prefer how I can sync and back up my client galleries regardless of the device I am using. Learning how to use it is essentially zero, and this makes me feel comfortable knowing even my newest staff can get into files securely and efficiently.

Cons

Storage is my greatest concern. High-resolution photography takes up space quickly, and moving up to a larger plan costs a lot for a small studio like ours. Occasionally, I have suffered from slow syncing with big files, which makes the workflow drag during peak times.

overall if you are an apple user then icloud is something you kindof have to be ok with to keep things together.

Pros

I think if you have an iPhone and mac or ipad then icloud is really great to have and keep everything aligned

Cons

icloud can be a bit hard to use and a little less intuitive then dedicated cloud storage providers out there.

I use iCloud every day to save, retrieve and exchange my medical documents and case related files: it backs up the information during my mission assistance in a fast environment by synchronize informations from one device to another.

Pros

I appreciate how easy it is to quickly share files while remaining consistent across devices, useful for coordinating such urgent cases as well as accessing records from afar.

Cons

The learning curve is confusing at first, occasional syncing issues and bugs add doubt when working through timely medical scenarios.

### "The seamless got a price!!"

November 23, 2025

3.0

I have been using iCloud since I got my first iPhone, a 6s, and I am still using it. Sharing files across devices or with friends smoothly keeps me using it.

Pros

My favorite part of iCloud is that it offers a seamless cloud storage and file management across all my Apple devices. There is no difficulty in using it. File backup for a new device is always smooth.

Cons

iCloud's pricing can stop boring me. For someone like me who takes a thousand photos and videos per day, the cloud storage fills up fast so Apple's malicious payment system can take place.

Pros

What I like most about iCloud is how it allows me to store, access and share data such as photos and videos and documents in one central repository.

Cons

### "Easy and simple but could use a price adjustment"

October 17, 2025

4.0

Overall, iCloud is simple to use, setup, and access. Managing files is a breeze and it's simple to share them. I wish the price was a little better.

Pros

iCloud is relatively simple to use with great options for sharing your files and organizing them. It's great being able to access your files from virtually anywhere.

Cons

I think the price is a little steep once it passes the bottom tier. If the bottom tier had a little more storage, then the price would be acceptable.
