Usamos a plataforma há alguns anos, inicialmente na gestão de projetos e depois, ampliamos para a gestão de indicadores, de demandas, de recursos internos e atualmente monitoramos toda a execução estratégica. Anualmente fazemos melhorias em nossos ciclos de planejamento e a ferramenta nos auxilia na implantação dessas mudanças. Nossa área é responsável pela administração da ferramenta na instituição e é comum recebermos feedbacks positivos dos usuários, em várias posições. Após disponibilização do serviço em Cloud, ficou mais fácil o acesso das equipes e o atendimento aos prazos. Então, de forma geral, nossa experiência com a Plataforma Channel tem sido muito boa.

Pros

Fácil implantação e administração, usabilidade, navegabilidade, interação com usuários, aderência, intuitiva, oferece autonomia e fácil aprendizado; possui integração de módulos e possibilita geração de relatórios e visões gerenciais por meio de painéis configuráveis.

Cons

Alguns recursos não estão disponíveis na integração de módulos e algumas funcionalidades não podem ser configuradas pelo usuário, dependendo de avaliação da equipe de desenvolvimento para liberação.

The Channel Platform is robust and complete, in general terms. I have been satisfied with the functionalities and links that it makes possible in the strategic management of the organization.

Pros

I like the range of features, which encompasses the entire strategic management of the organization: themes and strategic objectives; indicators; projects, programs and portfolios; corporate risks, among others. The possibility of hybrid project management is also very good: waterfall and agile.

Cons

Usability is not very intuitive, which inhibits greater use of the tool by new users. The interface could be all in the format of the new version of the agile module, with light colors, simpler and more intuitive. The program modules and portfolios can include existing features in the projects module, such as forms, WBS, stakeholders, meetings, problems, risks and document repository. The visualization of the WBS could improve to be more similar to that of the WBS Chart Pro.

Reasons for choosing Channel Platform

Overall, the Channel Platform is more complete, comprehensive, robust than the others on the market. The integration of predictive and agile methods is also better than the ones I have seen in other tools.

The tool fully supports the work of the PMO and allowed the automation of demand flows to other company areas.

Pros

It is a complete tool for managing portfolios and projects, including the various knowledge areas of the traditional model as well as facilities for managing agile or hybrid projects. The licensing model by competing users is also a great differentiator when considering costs

Cons

It lacks a more attractive design for status reports when compared to competing tools.

Reasons for choosing Channel Platform

The solution serves me in a similar way at a much lower cost, without dollar conversions and with agile technical support in Portuguese.

I have been using Channel since 2014 as the main management tool. We use the strategy to design strategic planning. Based on the strategy, we created the portfolio for evaluating and ranking projects. Project management has proved to be very efficient with innovations for the use of hybrid management. In the company using all the solutions proposed (portfolio, projects, processes, indicators, control panels)

Pros

The system responds very well to the needs in several areas of business management and it is possible to bring together all business needs in a single solution.

Cons

For those new to the system, it may seem unintuitive in some ways.

No geral é boa, mas precisa focar mais em gerenciamento ágil.

Pros

O que mais agrega valor para nós é o sistema de apontamentos de horas, o qual não encontramos similar ainda. Usamos muito os apontamento conectados com as atividades dentro dos projetos.

Cons

Talvez por ser muito completo, é muito difícil localizar as funcionalidades nos menus. Não é amigável. E a parte de gerenciamento ágil precisa melhorar muito ainda, para conectar os apontamentos de hora com os backlogs.
