We offer rendering services to our clients, and are able to use Foyr to show the clients and the builders the dream vision before any construction has begun. We can create any layout, and are able to drop is many different products and change materials to show the full potential of a clients dream space. Pros Foyr is great for creating custom layouts of clients existing homes and new builds! We're easily able to show customers their dream spaces with a lot of accuracy. I love using Foyr Neo in my design business Pros Fast and effective when it comes to building and creating a floor plan and design. Cons I wish some things were more technical in measurements for architectural planning. I've had numerous technical problems and it takes weeks/months to be addressed + I have to reach out every week, and nobody answers. The custom models: you have the option to ask the 3D team to create a custom object which is great. I was great at the beginning. And for the past few months, it has been REALLY bad. I had to ask ALL the items to be re-created because it looked nothing like the photos I uploaded, or the measurements were totally off. " March 1, 2024 5.0 Everything has been great so far and customer service is great and quick with responses with any questions I come across. Pros Foyr Neo has helped set my business apart from the competition. I can create stunning 4K renderings within a day and provide walk-through videos to my clients. The editing process is super simple and it is amazing to provide different views, lighting plans, furniture plans, and renderings to each unique client. I was able to teach myself the basics and have been able to grow my business and promote the aspect of delivering 3D renderings to my clients. I use this program daily and absolutely love it. Cons There aren't any cons that I can think of. I have been using this program daily and haven't run into any issues! Switched from [Revit](https://www.capterra.com/p/265023/Revit/) I found the AutoCad Revit program super basic and complicated to follow. I took a few school courses to learn how to do it but still found the program very complicated. With Foyr Neo I was able to teach myself the basics and have been improving ever since. This is a great software and they are seriously going places! I'm glad to get in now as more and more develops. Pros Extremely easy to use and the materials and design elements library is first rate! In school I learned CAD, Revit, and Sketchup so Foyr was a super smooth switch over and I sooo appreciated how nicely it looks even in 2D. Rendering happens in minutes! Less than 5! Any glitches are quickly addressed by the amazing 24-7 staff members. The software works on any level computer with decent wifi - no more downloads! Cons There are a few glitches that come up here and there but never anything major. They are always improving Foyr and working with them has been an excellent experience. Pros Neo is easy to use and delivers exceptional renders for all of my designs in a single tool. I love being able to incorporate my own style of retail products, textures and more. Cons Foyr has helped define my business processes versus the other way around. I do find that the page crashes often since the latest version of Neo was released. I also would love to have the ability to align elements automatically. Owner Design Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Not for everyone" July 6, 2021 2.0 Pros Though I cancelled my subscription as this software was not for me, their customer service department was very responsive and those that I interacted with were very nice. Cons I saw a FB ad for this software and thought it would be a great addition to my small business and started the free trial. Unfortunately, the free trial is limited and I had to invest in the software to really try it out. For me it was cumbersome and awkward. I spent hours on the tutorials as well as set up "zoom" style sessions with customer support. The tutorials were too quick forcing me to have to have two separate devices open - one to watch so i could pause every 10th word and one to use. Though this worked, it was very frustrating. I cancelled my subscription Switched from [DesignFiles](https://www.capterra.com/p/179202/DesignFiles/) The program is easier to use and offers a Mood Board option that FOYR does not (at least at the time I subscribed). For a designer who isn't super tech savy it is the perfect fit. They are always making improvements in the software, and the customer service has been a pleasure to work with. Pros The ease of making 3D renders as an interior designer is critical. Foyr is easy to use, quick and the customer service is top notch. Cons The functions of elevations are very hard to use and needs some improvement. The ruler tool doesn't always work properly. Reason for choosing Foyr Neo We did not have the proper training in the other softwares, and didn't have time as a business owner to start from scratch. Foyr gave us the opportunity to provide 3D renders to our high end clients without having to outsource it. Pros Learning to use Foyr Neo wasn't too hard.What I love about it is that you are able to transform your design image to 3D which helps meshow my clients what I'm thinking, while at the same time avoid costly mistakes. Cons I don't like when you are applying flooring like wood or tile that you have to figure outwhat measurement need to be adjusted so they are in scale. The help is excellent, and I really do believe it has helped my business grow. Pros I used to offer 3D renderings as an option, but because of the ease and quickness of drawings I have made it a part of my design package. The visualization for my clients helps them make selections quickly and efficiently. Cons Sometimes I find the preview window too small to really see issues that come up when rendering. May be a larger image with the words "PROOF" across it so I can troubleshoot better without spending money on renders. Reason for choosing Foyr Neo I believe I did a demo and really loved it. Pros I love the ease of using- it took a bit of time but I have never used cad in my work. Im an ekder in the industry. The updated version us also so much easier!!! i started at beginning of pandemic- I had a client that i had engaged and learned it while designing- was great to be able to see my designs in 3d and be able to change quickly . And wowed the client! Many clients can’t visualize so it is a great tool!!! A game changer! Now i can export my 2d plans Cons We always would like it to be less $ but It pays for itself. I have seen Four grow from its first stages and continue to add new features while remaining easy to use and affordable. Pros I love how fast it is. You can typically get a project done in no time and with the large catalog of already made products it makes things so much easier to blend into your projects. Once they take your money they don't want to give it back, even after cancelling. Pros It was an online software that is what I needed. Cons Limited options for room decorations, not disability friendly, Inaccessible tools from keyboard, limited options for design, and too many features were fixed to grid points and didn't allow flexibility for placement, also many fixed viewpoints that didn't allow for a 3D view of various points within rooms. Pros It is moderately easy to use however the company only wants your money. Their online help was what kept me for over a year otherwise it’s not worth it. Cons You pay for a full year of renderings $600 and you have credits to use. But if you don’t use it, after a year they take it all away and you have to buy again. Designer Design Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Bad mobile option and customer service after purchase was non existent to the point of cancelation" June 22, 2022 1.0 the software at the time June 2021 failed to deliver as marketed, specifically on a mobile device. The lack of customer service post purchase was non existent. I got so aggravated I canceled. To find out a year later that Foyr was going to auto renew my subscription at double the price. This meant they never canceled or refunded me the money after canceling in less than 24 hours the year prior. I would never recommend this company and investors should be weary. Pros easy to learn, use and design with. Resource library is adequate. Cons Failed when using mobile device. There are better cheaper options in Apple Apps store Review Source LA Laura A. Do not recommend to anyone. Pros Nothing. It doesn't perform the function for which I need it and the "free trial" is a billing scam. Cons By their reps admission, it does not alliw design of exterior spaces. The "14 day free trial" turned into "no refunds" the minute they got my credit card.
