Pros had 1 conference on the software. Some users were able to navigate. Cons I signed up with an old plan, and now they refuse to allow me to change my email associated with the account. The email is no longer active and the URL no longer available. This is their sneaky way of making past users upgrade to new steeper pricing. Be very careful, they want your money and will not hesitate to make it hard for you to move forward without resetting your account so you have to pay updated pricing. we also found we had to have a support team to help people navigate the site. Its speed-networking feature, lounge, stage with backdrop, online recording storage, real time chat are very useful. It also has a place where one can list the event sponsors also. One can also give the Mike to a person who is in the audience through the raise hand feature. The backstage offers a very comfortable and easily managable experience. Cons Airmeet requires very good internet connection in most cases. It requires really high bandwidth sometimes even in the ite mode. Though the UI is very good, the ux is a bit complicated for new users to get habituated. The mobile app can be improved . Pros I wanted to like Airmeet. However, I can not in any way recommend them as a solution based on the terrible experience I've had with their team and support. Cons Airmeet's team is the reason I can no recommend their app. Their support is rude, unhelpful, and unreasonable. We use Airmeet for networking events and career fairs. Each booth is a virtual table in the social lounge. We've had so many ask about it and want to use Airmeet for their events. Pros What I like most about Airmeet is the ease in setting up the events and the user-friendly interface. We have used the platform for career events and fairs. Each booth has their own virtual table. Overwhelmingly we have received very positive feedback from employers and students in that the social lounge really makes the event feel like an in-person career fair as much as possible in the virtual setting. Cons 1\. Not being able to see full profiles of attendees. Allow full participant profiles to be viewable by attendees with the ability to add a LinkedIn url or resume. 2. Not having the ability to share pdfs or resumes at virtual tables. Allow pdfs (such as resumes) to be shared in direct messages or table chats. 3. Not being able to pin messages in the chat window. Allowing the option to pin a message at a virtual table would allow anyone who visits the table to view the message without having to repeat it in the table chat when someone new joins. 4. Small table chat window. Make the table chat window larger or add it to the side of the video screen. 5. Not being able to blur your background. Allow blurred or digital video backgrounds. 6. Not being able to customize the registration fields. It also didn't have the video chat feature. Airmeet was much less expensive, much easier to use, and the customer service has been fantastic. In order for my institution to enter into a business relationship with a software vendor, a thorough review must be done by our IT department. This includes the Terms of Service and can take a few weeks. Once we got the approval, I reached back out and was sent a contract that was not included originally. We needed to get this vetted and there was some language that our legal department had concerns about. I emailed our rep and received no reply. I then emailed the support account and was told our rep no longer works at the company and put me in contact with a manager. He informed me that the pricing structure quoted to us was no longer valid and that I would need to go with a different pricing structure. If I would do that, they could then justify their lawyers looking at our concerns. I pushed back on this a little but ultimately agreed to the new pricing. I never heard from them again after multiple emails. In the end, we went with an annual contract with a competitor at a higher rate. Even if I ever got a return message, I could not justify working with Airmeet based on how the sales portion of this experience went. Pros The software is great. Looks great, works as advertised. March 28, 2022 5.0 Airmeet is een excellent platform for organizing our school's open days during the covid-19 pandemic. Came close to our regular open days because of the many unique features. For instance, their customization features to fit your brand are not as impressive as some of their competition. Right now, their biggest drawing card (for us) is allowing for a more interactive conferencing experience. Pros The networking feature has been the best feature of this software so far. Airmeet has tables for your participants to use and speed networking features. You can also customs brand the tables to fit your brand. Also, the sponsor booths are a really nice feature and look extremely professional and almost-real-to-life. Everyone we've shown Airmeet to has felt pumped from viewing it. Cons One of our biggest complaints is that the interface is not as intuitive as other competing software so there was a bit of a learning curb in using it. Also, Airmeet tries to direct you to video conferencing calls with their staff if you have an issue when it would be easier and faster to simply have a chat box and speak to a rep that way. Great experience and clients have been impressed with it. Pros \- 24/7 live customer support - continuous update/upgrades making the product increasingly valuable and improving the attendee experience - easy to set up an event - easy to navigate - social lounge is awesome Cons \- no way for speakers to see participants while speaking - unable to set up sessions with the social lounge. Sessions can only be set up with speakers. Please consider that some users use the social lounge for activities and planned discussions as opposed to only networking, so it would be helpful to indicate this in the schedule. Pastor Religious Institutions Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Cutting Edge Technology" March 12, 2021 4.0 Pros I love the Airmeet platform because it is the closest platform to being in person when it comes to conferences and conventions. The platform allows you to have simultaneous classes at the same time. When one enters the venue, you have the option to meet people just like you would at an in-person conference. As an attendee you are able to browse around the conference and purchase vendor items as well. This system is so powerful that if you have sponsors or vendors you can have them at your virtual conference. Their support is just a click away, and the platform is now on ios and android devices. Hands down Airmeet is in a class all by itself. Cons One feature that could be added would be an overlay pop up as the speaker is addressing the audience he or she could highlight their points. Another missing feature is connecting the stage background with what Facebook and YouTubers experience. At present unless you are on the inside of the platform you have two different virtual experiences. The stage backgrounds can "only" be viewed on the inside and NOT from Facebook and Youtube views. The 24/7 help lounge is a real customer service plus. Pros Like all platforms a little time is required for familiarisation, but Airmeet offers some genuine features to attract. Particularly the tables in the lounge, which give attendees a real feel of autonomy and ability to move from conversation to conversation. Inviting people up on stage is pretty seamless too. Perhaps the best part is the 24/7 help lounge. Cons It chews up a good bit more bandwidth than Zoom, and could do with having green screen backdrops to harmonise the feel of all speakers being in the same place. Pre pandemic, we were doing this through physical events, meetups, and workshops. Post pandemic, this is all virtual, and there is where Airmeet fits in. The experience is very close to that of a physical event, plus you get an international audience which was not possible. I am curious to try how it is in a hybrid setup altough! Pros I really like the look and feel and the user experience of the platform! The UI/UX is neat and clean; navigating through the dashboard is quite simple, even for first-time users. The actual event experience is also quite rich. Infact even before the event you can go to the lounge area and see how it will look like on the day of the event. The experience on the day of the event is also quite nice! It is just like you are backstage then you go the frontstage then you go to the networking arena. It is quite close to in person experience. The audience engagement features help you connect with your audience to improve the effectiveness of the event. Streaming features are also very cool and easy to setup even for non tech people. Cons There is one feature of live streaming. In case you pause the event, the stream is disconnected and the video breaks into two parts. Instead, the streaming engine should stream some dummy stream showing some text like "we will be right back" and connect the new stream when live. Pros All round great tool that was easy to set up and manage the virtual event and very intuitive for attendees too, looks very slick and is feature rich. Cons The countdown for when a session begins is great as it gives attendees a warning that the session is about to begin but we found that speakers were unaware when to begin, particularly when sharing their screen and therefore couldn't see the yellow bar or countdown. A noise to indicate when the countdown is over would be useful. Reason for choosing Airmeet Ease of use, pricing meant that we could get all the features we needed for minimal costs. Pros I found the software quite intuitive to set up overall and appreciated some of the customization aspects. My favourite part of the software, however, are the networking tables. That's actually why we chose Airmeet over other providers. Cons Though I appreciated how communicative the Airmeet support staff were, it took a very long time to receive the recordings of our session. When we did receive the recordings, the quality of the videos were quite low. That said, my understanding is that Airmeet has since changed the software (since I last used it in Nov 2020) so that you can download the videos not long after you complete your sessions. As such, this comment of mine may not be applicable anymore. Reason for choosing Airmeet As mentioned above, we largely chose Airmeet for the networking tables. When a company won't answer questions or respond to queries for support, it is usually not a good sign. Pros I think they are trying to go for a cool, more-socially-centric app to have around than Zoom with breakout rooms. Airmeet might be good if you were going to, say, teach a handful of seminars a month with a relatively few number of attendees. It also might be good if you were going to teach paid classes where you could make up the $1 per attendee overage fee from signup fees. Cons 1) Super expensive if you want to use it for classroom instruction. I teach 180 students a semester twice a week. By my calculations (found out after the purchase), I would be spending \*minimum\* over $400 a month just to teach classes on this platform. 2) No mobile platform support. If your students want to join from an iPhone, they cannot do it. 3) Lack of support/communication from the vendor. They will not respond to questions. Review Source RC Ritesh C. One of the factors for choosing Airmeet was its UI. Although we were limited to a Laptop browser the customization available to us was quite decent. We could use banners and backgrounds for our sponsor directly and that was quite easy. Also, we could create multiple meet links in advance and all of which had an individual registration capacity and that cost for the same was quite decent. Cons One of the things that we missed was complete mobile application support. The meets are available on a mobile browser but considering that many people that attended the event did prefer a mobile joining rather than joining from a Laptop, we felt that they should create an app. When joining from a mobile we couldn't switch on mic or camera. Another limitation is that only 10 people can simultaneously join the meet and be on stage(turn the mic and camera on). Review Source NK Naresh K.
