December 15, 2020 5.0 We honestly loved our experience with Airmeet and we're also super grateful that they chose to work with us for our TEDxCubbonPark event. They were extremely attentive and willing to collaborate for a bigger initiative and we really appreciated this! Set up, demo calls, and during event support is also available. Pros I really liked the customer service firstly. Secondly, I was happy that we could upload pre-recorded videos to ensure seamless playback. I also really liked the roundtable feature and the potential of having attendees collaborate with one another. Customization on the backend (branding etc) is also a good to have Cons One feature that can be built to the existing amazing features would be ensuring that multiple hosts can have control incase of any connection crisis etc. Additionally, would be awesome if there is an option to not have visibility into attendees (privacy and so on) Review Source VY Victoria Y. It was a much easier transition than we expected. Pros We place great value on both the breakout tables and the speed networking. Also, the customer support and training have been outstanding. They were critical in us moving to a virtual platform for our signature event and bi-weekly mentoring sessions. Cons At the time of our Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 events there was no mobile access. Vooral door gebrek aan Nederlands, maar ook door hoe ingewikkeld het programma is voor gasten (en sprekers en hosts). Al met al, het programma heeft zeker potentie en geloof er ook in, maar bovenstaande moeten aangepast worden, voordat ik of meerdere personen in Nederland hier gebruik van gaan maken denk ik. Pros Innoverend programma (tafels, fluid network space), netwerkmogelijkheden zijn groot en de overall 'look' van het programma is geweldig Cons Mis Nederlandse ondersteuning of in ieder geval Nederlandse vertaling van het programma voor gasten. Veel te ingewikkeld om in te loggen, gaat ook meerdere keren fout en gasten moeten 3 keer dezelfde informatie invullen. From the very beginning the support team was extremely helpful and pricing was more than fair. We got so many compliments from people who participated in the event on how great the platform we chose was. Pros Easy to learn how to use the software to set up an event. Great customer support. The "networking tables" were the perfect feature for our virtual college fair. Cons The "networking tables" were not accessible on mobile at the time, which restricted some students from being able to fully access the event. Cons Handling questions and raised hands is not so strait forward. The menu located at the righ of the screen (chat, raised hands, q&a, etc.) should be simplified. Mainly, when a feature is selected it hides the other features. In addition, compatibility issues with browsers are a downside. Specifically, airmeet always asks speakers to modify security preferences in some browsers. The speed networking and round table features are particularly well appreciated by our attendees. They provide a round the clock support service which is very reassuring although have not had much cause to use it. We have very small online events. Pros I found it very easy to use, and I love the networking features: the 1:1 and also the tables. Cons Many people try to join the Airmeet from their phones or tablets and it doesn't work properly on those platforms, also the requirement to download Google's browser is a con, it would be nice to use it on a more private browser. The team are attentive and available at all hours and worked extremely hard to ensure we got the most out of the platform. Pros Airmeet is unlike any other virtual meeting software I have used. It is a breath of fresh air after a long year of Covid-19 and I see the platform becoming something that can be used across sectors for all kinds of events. The best feature of the platform is the 'Lounge' - this is so unique and mimics real life in such a clever way. The lounge is a great place to socialise, work or network - I can see this becoming a big thing in the future of virtual working. Cons There are still some kinks to be ironed out, but I think that is down to the platform being so new. It seems to take a lot of power, a few of our guests had to refresh multiple times to get it to work properly. There was also a layout issue with the DM's being hard to find. Pros The concept of tables is unique in that it allows an experience very similar to a real life event. Great for a training where discussion or work in groups is necessary. I've used it for private events (similar to a big family gathering, a birthday party, a wedding) Cons Frequently a few participants are not able to be heard (they hear, but are mitted). It just affects a few people, but it has always happened in the events I've participated or organized. Reason for choosing Airmeet I've just used a free version. Pros It's an extremely easy to use software while combining all elements of a more complex, high level software (AI match making etc.). Furthermore, the access for attendees is easy, love the very clear landing page within the event and all the included integrations which make connections to CRMs etc. as easy as cake.
