December 20, 2022 5.0 Pros It's always super inconvenient to send a fax when you don't have easy access to a fax machine, like most of us. Well, CocoFax has got you covered! It was easy to set up and send a fax. It was almost effortless. You can observe the status of your outgoing fax and receive emails when your fax is delivered. Confirmation is key on faxes! 10/10 recommend. Cons The delivery time was slower than expected, but no more than 5 minutes. Doesn't matter to me as long as it gets there! Review Source HS Heather S. A show ready menu or cost evaluation is instantly and professionally in the hands of the person I need. New meaning for "From my Kitchen to Yours". Pros Now.we are closed and still working but from home, like kitchen table office. Ideas for menu design, ingredient list and all restaurant needs are bring upgraded and shared with each other. Our food purveyor wanted a fax sent so he had an immediate hard copy. A fax? Coco Fax read the easiest and said it did everything we needed. Fast download, Coco Fax easily got the documents ready to send, we could preview and edit and get a fax number for the restaurant, on my phone. It did everything it said and I was easily able to fax a professional document to the person I'm relying on to reduce food costs so their Chef could prepare the menu on site. Cons I can't complain, download was quick and does not take space or run down battery. Compatibility was perfect and my papers were faxed with speed, how I wanted and it was from my kitchen table. Reason for choosing CocoFax The description was fact by fact and simple. There was no building up with fluff and fill. Coco Fax does this, this and this. Peroid. Ok sold, and it does what it says. This company is not only shady, but their software is fairly poor. I have canceled my credit card because there is also no way to cancel auto-renew without support which is non-existent. Pros Upon using CocoFax, I found it to serve my needs. However, everything went downhill from there. Cons Customer Support: I accidentally selected the annual plan when paying for the service. I reached out to support multiple times. Zero response. Functionality: Buyer beware. Pros I don't need a separate line for sending or receiving FAX documents. Cons I have not yet found a FAX template that I could use outside of email. It is also very user friendly. Cons It is not specific to CocoFax, apparently there is no way to "fax" without a fax number. It would be great to not need a fax number. The user interface is slick. Cons When it times comes to fax you enter the fax you must go through and hit the add recipient button. That button should be a different color because it seems optional. Last, the app only sent a handful of faxes correctly and it did not receive faxes at all. I had my employee use a real fax machine and I received faxes perfectly. So it appears there is a glitch between sending to and receiving faxes from a real fax machine. I wish I had driven the hour to Bethesda to hand deliver my sensitive documents and driven an hour back. Probably illegal Pros You can send faxes as easily as you can send an email, though the resolution is what gets through Cons You cannot unsubscribe. Ever. Period. This was a major complaint until an apparent October 2024 online data scrub. You could click "unsubscribe" on your online account, and you'd get a "Thanks! Someone will contact you shortly!" No one would ever contact you. They had no phone number or other contact info. They marked your monthly subscription as recurring so that even if you contacted your bank, they withdrew their $7 every month. Forever. It can be utilized through google chrome very easily. It is very user-friendly. Files can be dragged and dropped to fax. Cons There are some translation issues with the interface language--typos and grammar issues. Sending a web fax is slow, taking about 1 minute per page. Pros Ease of use. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] is a good customer service rep. Cons The software seems to be outdated or lines are old. 90% of my faxes started failing after 7 months of being with them. They would tell me its the sender's fault, despite the fact it kept happening with multiple senders. Come to find out they timed out. This means Coco servers are prehistoric. A 7 page inbound fax is to large and it will fail. The tech team will say...its the senders fualt....whatever.
