At times users find it difficult to access and find the relevant content or more information related to a topic. Additionally it allows us to prepare complete course material which students are looking for in a much professional and easy to access way. Pros Miestro is easy to use and does exactly what it is meant for. The option to add wide variety of files formats make it really helpful & easy to use. The documentation provided by the support make it easy to understand and help with getting started. Gamification and One click integration with other apps are an additional advantage. Cons As the software is still in beginning phase a lot of things can be improved and are infact being improved. Additional features like more control over course completion, having non skippable part of course for mandatory trainings, auto generation of certificates on successful completion of course will be highly beneficial. Founder & CEO Marketing and Advertising Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Off to a Good Start" August 5, 2020 4.0 I was using much more expensive and complicated LMS systems and ready to yank my hair out. While it's nice to have 'all-in-one' features at times (e.g. livestreaming, robust autoresponders) it can also take a lot more time when all you want to to is get the course activated! Now I can do that inside of Miestro. I was able to take the parts I loved about my old system (thanks to Zapier) and marry them to the beauty and simplicity of my lesson dashboard. Clients love the flow and it's super fast for me to put out programs. Pros I love the ease of setup for this platform. Not too many bells & whistles to create overwhelm and I can set up an entire course pretty quickly with no stress. This is a nice complement to my already complicated website design and I appreciate that it was simple to rebrand with fonts, colors, etc so that the transition from my main site to the learning center is seamless. I also like that they are thinking ahead in areas like award badges to reward students as they progress through a course. Cons There are some things I wish I could have now...but I believe they will be implemented over time, such as more flexibility with button titles, API integrations, improved text/html editor, and a few less glitches when creating a page. But more importantly, as they find their way, enhancing the customer service wait times and providing more robust answers to questions will really take them further. All of this is part of 'growing pains' for a new platform like this and I believe they will improve. The faster they can get on implementing features in the works, the better this will be. These help me feel more connected without being overloaded. I look forward to what Miestro reveals in the future and to see how it transforms to become a top-level competitor in their niche. Miestro ends my search. Its structure allows me to create an engaging community for my worldwide audience. All of my videos, audios, and text content are combined in one place yet easily separated within a membership program or as individual courses. The firm's support service is top notch, responding to my concerns quickly in writing or video format. Miestro has taken a huge weight off my shoulders, and my industry will flourish because of it. Speaker Coach Professional Training & Coaching Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Simple courses presented well" December 4, 2021 5.0 Initially I used Miestro for coaching a cohort of TEDx speakers for TEDxRuakura 2020. Normally we would have a couple of live seminars, and do coaching by zoom. With Covid 19 in 2020 the live seminars were out, and rather than do them on Zoom too, I put the lessons in video into Miestro. This allowed the speakers to revisit modules as the felt they needed them over the process. It turned out to be very successful, and now I don't need to redo those seminars every year. Since then I put together a massive Beta workshop for "Pitching for Start up Entrepreneurs" with over 90 videos. I was pleased with the ease of putting it together. The feedback from that was that I had totally overdone the workshop and need to narrow the focus and probably do several shorter courses to help Start Up Entrepreneurs in simpler stages. Pros I like that it is simple to create a course and publish it. The course looks good, it is well presented and it is easy for the learner to navigate. I like that it integrates a payment gateway. Cons I found it a bit repetitive to do the dropdown on every module. It would be nice if it assumed the next module was the same as the last, and you change it if it was not. All my modules were video modules so I felt it was a bit annoying having to set that up for each video. Review Source Kimberly C. Pros Miestro is super easy to use - I got my first course up within it, including landing page, in about an hour or so. In addition to a course/membership platform, Miestro includes landing pages, emails, and integrations with PayPal, Zapier, and more. I also love the built-in gamification in the form of badges and certificates. Cons I would love to see more ability for interaction such as a forum. Miestro has been my most enjoyable experience. This tool really makes rapid course creation and deployment a reality and the Miestro Team's demonstrated commitment to future improvements makes this app one I can easily recommend to other users. Pros Miestro makes course creation an enjoyable experience. The lesson builder is quick and intuitive and aids in planning your course lessons. Miestro's UI mirrors a useful course development and marketing workflow. You are guided from course creation to branding to landing page development and pricing. Another helpful feature is the ability to see in real-time how the course looks from the student's perspective. Miestro also has built-in gamification that is useful but basic. The customer support is very responsive and the weekly coaching calls are a definite plus! Finally I appreciate the team's dedication to continuously improving this software through regular updates and roadmap announcements. Cons The creation of Certificates for course completion is needed though this is on the roadmap. I am excitedly looking out for this. Also I think the gamification could be improved to include a points system. Greater control of embedded objects notably sizing of e.g. Articulate Storyline objects will enhance the experience. The team are committed to adopting feedback from users, and in the short time that I've been a user, they've already rolled out heaps of new features, with plenty more to come over the next few months. This is a great product that is going to get better. Pros I love how easy Miestro makes it to get a course online. The interface is super easy to navigate, and is customizable, making it so easy to get something launch-ready in a very short time frame. Miestro doesn't try to be a million things at once. It is an LMS, and it does it really well. It may not have some of the bells and whistles of other platforms, but that's not what I want. I want a robust, good looking platform, and that's what I've got. Cons At the moment, the documentation is a little limited, but I believe that this is about to change. That said, the support team are very responsive, and any questions I've had have been sorted with a quick email. Reason for choosing Miestro I've played around with plenty of LMS products - some of them hosted, some of them plugins for my website - and none of them are perfect. Pros since I am just getting started creating courses, and am excited to have premium features as I recreate a course I did on another platform. Cons Seems like there are some inconsistencies in the software, but could be my getting g used to how to work with the platform properly. My guess is I may have forgotten to save my work... I will be testing things again once my office renovation is complete and I can begin working again on my courses. Fortunately, access to support and training seems to be very good, so I am not concerned. I simply need to do my part and focus on learning what I need to understand. Miestro has native payment system but i can also use an external shopping cart and integrate it with Zapier. Also Love the roadmap and the way they are launching new updates every week. The "student room" design and UX for students consuming content is beautifully laid out and intuitive. The cool features like discussion comments per lesson and reward badges are lovely features and the platform as a whole has an overall ease and grace to it's design and functionality. It just looks and feels expensive (ie high quality). I would absolutely recommend this platform to course creators new and old, it ticks all the boxes.
