Software Engineer Information Technology and Services Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Great platform overall, onboarding could be smoother" September 3, 2025 4.0 Pros As a freelance software contractor, Deel has taken a lot of the stress out of getting paid by international clients. Instead of worrying about invoices, compliance, or whether I’ll run into banking issues, I just set things up once and it runs smoothly after that. The dashboard is clean and easy to understand, and I really appreciate how transparent everything feels compared to some of the other platforms I’ve tried. Payments land on time, and the peace of mind that comes with knowing taxes and legal aspects are handled correctly is huge for me. It lets me focus on my actual work instead of chasing down admin tasks. Cons The only part that wasn’t as smooth was onboarding. A couple of the dropdown/select menus were buggy, and in places where autocomplete would have saved time, there weren’t any suggestions. It’s not something that stopped me from getting through the process, but it did make it slower than I expected. Once I was past that, though, I didn’t run into the same issues. It also help to carefully review my contract with helpful guide and automate to create the tax form like magic. I feel secure on relying my contract and payroll management with Deel.
