My overall experience with Shopify POS is a good one

Pros

I love this software because it's a great way to sell staff you have and make this process easy and smooth due to this platform.

Cons

I'd prefer more affordable price and a better layout that's user friendly and time saving, other than that there is nothing I would change.

The POS option with Shopify is great. With an iPad, cash register and scanner you are totally in control. We have been using our POS system from Shopify for over 3 years and have never had a problem. Because we have our online store integrated into the POS customers can order products on line, pick home delivery as the shipping option and we will deliver it to their home. We have a smaller iPad we use at events that has the same inventory as our online store. It comes with a credit card swipe with the payments processed by Shopify. Deposits are made to our bank account within a couple days.

Overall, I recommend this application to every business owner, especially if they are doing in person sales. I loved using this.

Pros

I used shopify POS for a pop up shop for my business. It was very easy to use, simple and functioning. Made every sale very very easy.

Cons

The only con I have is not understanding exactly how the tax option works. I wish it wouldve just converted that information directly from the website but it did not. Which was a bit frustrating.

Simplistic credit card processing housed in the same place as my ecommerce transactions. Makes it easier to sync and reconcile transactions

Pros

Super simple to use and records it right to your online store. can use your inventory right there as well.

Cons

I wish there was a desktop version as well. Also a way to manage more then one store without logging in and out every time.

It has been a good experience. Definitely have to check the system prior to starting day or events. It updates a lot

Pros

It so easy to use and update at the same time. You do not have to have products in the pos to use when you are at events

Cons

It is hard to connect the card readers. It took us a minute to get the card reader to work and once it did it was ok.

The platform is very easy to customize with plenty of additional plug-ins to adapt it to the type of business you have and offer. The additional features are fairly easy to use.

I wish Shopify itself offered more features rather than relying on plug-ins so much

Shopify POS has been a game changer for selling products on the go. Love it!

Pros

This app is perfect for having a booth at a show so that you can sell the inventory you have or even take orders and it all goes through your Shopify store that way your sales are still tracked there.

Cons

I’ve been so pleased with this app that it’s difficult to think of a con.

Pros

I love being able to create a quick sale when we are at events. It is convenient for purchases that are not available on our website.

Cons

We cannot change the tax settings. The tax doesn't adjust to the state it is shipped. I really have no other complaints it is super convenient.
