I think anyone who needs heavy use of the service would be satisfied. If you need to exceed the 3 document limit by even just a little bit then there may be better options on documents that have a one time fee that you can just reuse. Pros The free documents are really nice. For a small business 3 documents a month is a nice fit. I also appreciate the language used within the legal documents themselves are understandable by just about anyone who needs them and they can’t vet all the most critical aspects for each given document type. Cons I find the monthly fee for anything above the 3 documents to be a bit high. If I just need a fourth or fifth one every once in a while I am stuck paying for a full subscription. It would be nice to have a per document option in such an event. All you need to do is fill out a survey (the survey questions are easy to understand) and your document is populated. I love how they tell you what's standard information and how asking for certain clauses in a contract will take more time than others. Cons More templates! But for a wide range of documents which we needed but weren't in our existing portfolio -- trial agreements and contractor agreements to name a few -- this was a very quick and easy way to get documents done at a very low cost, almost or totally "code complete." Pros Avodocs provides a very easy pathway for the creation of a lot of your standardized legal documents. Their questionnaire-driven approach is easy to use and covers most major decision points around any specific agreement. You can preview the contractual changes that come from any given decision, which is useful. Cons The range of agreements is broad but doesn't capture every business scenario. No problems, not long complex steps. Just works! Cons I'd love also to be able to generate Cookie Policy and GDPR Policy, which Avodocs currently doesn't have. Pros I enjoy the ease of use. For someone who does not have the time to draft legal documents from scratch, I am allowed flexibility in quickly skimming through to the more important talking points. I am able to save massive amounts of time and feel secure. Cons I think if there is an ability to sign on Avodocs, we can streamline the processes better. I also think if there is an ability to store the documents through a secure cloud based system that is encrypted, there would be a lot of more traction. You need to know nothing, just answer the questions and that's all. Pros I can't believe that this software exists. I needed a privacy policy agreement for my SaaS and eCommerce sites and in 5 minutes I had them. Cons If you start to prepare your document without creating an account, it sends your document to your email address and give you an option that you can create an account. But when you create an account, your document isn't in your account completely. It's draft mode and you need to create your document again if you want to find it in your account later. It's plenty, so I didn't have to upgrade to a paid plan until I decided to run all my sales contracts through Avodocs and use E-sign. Pros Avodocs is simple, intuitive, contains a lot of useful documents for running a business and I can use it on a mobile device anytime. Cons E-sign is available through integration with Docusign, so I had to buy Docusign additionally. I hope they will offer native Avodocs E-sign some day.
