Simply, easy. I’m a user of it, not an admin so I think I use it less but it’s helpful to keep track of everything,

Pros

Reports are easy to read, easily accessible for printing. All the tabs are smart phone friendly (other platforms I’ve had issues with)

Cons

Sometimes the app does an update that causes issues or lags but the people who run it are quick to fix it.

### "My Love-Hate Relationship"

It is a love-hate relationship. When it works, it works well, but when it doesn't its a major pain and usually causes me to have to use a workaround which is not what we pay for.

Pros

Having all employee information in one place and the various tasks that you can do on one platform.

Cons

It can be very temperamental and troublesome to use. Some of the logic of the operations does not mesh with real-life practices. Some of the things you think should work a certain way do not, and it causes extra work.

Once you get through the install and quick set up the program itself is great! So many options on this platform really make it an all in one HR space.

Pros

It includes options for training requirements, reminders, self service clocking in and out. I loved being able to communicate with management all in one place as well!

Cons

The download process and install was a bit tedious. Once you go through that it was smooth sailing for the rest.

Overall it is good software, gives bunch of options and flexibility. Easy to use by the staff and UI is good however for back end admin staff it might ne challenging

Pros

UI is simple and user friendly. Able to see vacation, time off, pending request and apprved and their balance. Ability to schedule time off is big plus

Cons

compatability with other softwares. Have to a lot of manual work through excels and stuff just to transfer data into it

Production lags heavily, and causes impacts our payroll processing pace of completing payroll. We have to slow down to a slow pace as the system is very slow most of the time.

Pros

System is very intuitive. amazing product if it is configured correcting and staff is trained fully to use the system

Cons

Tax customer service is the absolute worst. they would take money/ach our account without prior approval on multiple occasions. Which breaks our contractual agreement. DF has processes such as sending and ATD to be signed prior to debiting the account however this wasn't followed multiple times. also PII info was a concern. I received and email from DF saying your email config was updated. They had added email to our account of humans that never have worked here. they crossed wires between client and added emails to our email config from some company we have no affiliation with.

Overall, Dayforce HCM has been an outstanding business decision due to immense efficiencies, improvements to employee/candidate experience and streamline payroll. As for All in Ones, Dayforce is and will be the top of lists if I ever am in the position of commissioning a new system.

Pros

Ease of use - Extremely efficient system - The Implementation studio is an amazing tool that helps improve employee experience and efficiencies. Has Streamlined payroll processes - Speedy payruns.

Cons

Dayforce is complex to configure due to how large the system is. Support can be a little slow but nothing extremely notable.

Pros

The payroll system is intuitive and reports are robust.

Cons

Implementation was incredibly long and the support ticket advisors are usually poorly trained. During implementation we had several different project managers due to turnover. Most of the advisors we have had directly from Ceridian have been so siloed they did not understand how their section of the system effected other systems. This has caused many issues down the line for us. I am still correcting things set up wrong during implementation.

It has been a positive user experience and easy to use. I have also enjoyed the app’s layout and variety. Due to this I prefer it to its competitors

Pros

I use Dayforce for work and is my new favourite amongst the rostering platforms. Training tasks can be completed from Dayforce and it allows for details about training and upcoming shift information. The homepage layout provides a suitable amount of personalised content regarding upcoming work preventing endless searching. The platform is also easily accessible from the web and the app.

Cons

Be weary of any potential extra costs to gain access to extra features

From the perspective of a system administrator, Dayforce is a reliable, thorough HRIS/HCM package that touches all major items in an employees lifecycle - Ongoing maintenance can be time consuming, but the overall experience for end users is worth it. Onboarding, Recruitment, Engagement and scheduling are best in class modules and worth the effort to implement.

Pros

All in one, start to finish employee lifecycle solution Onboarding and recruitment modules are leaders in the field Ability to thoroughly cover payroll and scheduling compliance for both Australia and New Zealand Both custom forms and workflows create genuine ability to fill any gaps you find in processes. Customer Success Management genuinely fights for their clients Uptime and environment support is reliable Integration options are vast and reliable

Cons

Upgrade cadence is too frequent, leaving me chasing my tail as an admin General support without escalation can be slow at times Some modules are still North American Focused (Benefits and Compensation specifically)

Some days I really appreciate the many features available all in one location. Other days I find that there are missing pieces that we can't add because of the cost and the lack of customization allowed in configuration for things like Performance reviews and onboarding.

The Dayforce HCM product covers many of our important requirements for the HR and recruiting teams and allows us to control functions like report building for analysis and integrations.

Cons

Dayforce has quite a high cost and can be complicated for end-users. The training information doesn't often help as it is many times out of date and not working. Customer support can also be quite slow and not as helpful as we need.

Pros

The support team for Dayforce is outstanding. I do not know my way around Dayfoce too much, but I can get by because I am experience with payroll and human resource... Anyhow, the support team is so helpful.

Cons

I guess the con for me is that I am not that experience with handling a Canada payroll. But again, the customer support makes it a great experience.

Pros

Ease of use, everything is neatly labeled, and tailored for the customer. In Poland we have many rules where it comes to vacation, sick leaves and overtime pay etc etc. Clocking in and out is fast and reliable so there is no stress when you enter your work - as it should be. Dayforce also offers nice PoE Android tablets for clock in and clock out with physical RFID tag, very neat solution with simple WebGUI for users and HR

I've been using it daily for almost 3 years now, and haven't had any major issues :)

Pros

Hard to think of any. I had to run to four different computers once and try signing in on ALL of them in order to get it to load. On the fourth one it finally did. Good job Dayforce, for making the fourth time the charm.

Cons

Do I only get to pick one? It's slow to load, always under maintenance every Saturday during night shifts, and freaks out whenever I have to end a break early.

My overall experience the past few years using Dayforce has been steady, I have had issues uploading my Schedules into my Phone Calendar in the past, but Dayforce makes this really easy.

Pros

Dayforce is very reliable and it updates on time. I love all the information I have access to through Dayforce as well.

There is nothing I dislike about Dayforce.

The user-experience is difficult. This may in part be due to our onboarding process, but we have had many struggles getting the system to work properly and understanding the various tools within the platform.
