Overall happy however not happy with ODS and stability that system offer

Pros

automation, taxation calculation, audit trail. Able to notice what’s went wrong and flexibility.

Cons

System update that decrease stability. Often with Dayforce upgrade, it create error on policies and create pay error.

Reporting is great and easy to use. Benefits admin is lovely with the recent updates. Core HRbisnt flashy but gets the job done.

Cons

Implementation leaves a lot to be desired between modules and countries (for payroll purposes). Admin access isn’t easy to figure out.

Overall I do think Dayforce is an easy product to use. It's simple to set up and intuitive.

Pros

I love the learning management feature. It was easy to set up and very easy to use. There are a few things here and there I would change, but that's the case with any system.

Cons

I think the reporting could be improved. There's plenty that works, but not every single area of the system is reportable which I've found to be a problem.

Dayforce is a great software to use for any kind of HR tasks for your organization. In my role, I was able to edit my team members timesheet, keep track of PTO, submit job postings, and more. All of the above were easy to do with the UI of Dayforce and getting around the website. The mobile app is a great addition to have to make changes on the go.

Cons

No major cons with Dayforce with the purpose of my use in my role.

Dayforce is the first HCM program I have used and I love it. I will continue to learn and grow with it. All of the updates we have received have brought great changes to our system.

Pros

I love the forgiveness I get with Dayforce to correct things instead of having to reach out to a third party. It allows me to make mistakes and learn from it. The customization Ceridian offers is also one of my favorite things!

Cons

I wish Learning could be more intuitive with quality of life updates for the admins.

Cons

The Recruiting feature needs some work. We’ve experienced many glitches and even when submitting help tickets, they’re hard to resolve. The features are behind other companies, it’s expensive, and every new feature costs extra.

Overall experience with Dayforce I would say is great. Not very many issues and if any come up they are normally handled pretty quickly.

Pros

It is easy to use and also it has an app that can be done on your phone

Cons

The request for Support to help with reports. If you need a specific report it seems to be difficult to get one done the correct way.

Reason for choosing Dayforce HCM

HPW was going away so we moved over to Dayforce.

I am one mon in using the system. After attending Insights I am confident that this is the best tool for our organization.

Pros

I appreciate that this is one seamless system and all pieces flow together. The customization is perfect. The HUB is the newest feature that I am starting to use. The communications team has been the sole user of this module. We are going to build HUB pages specifically for employees and managers. This will make usage so much more easier.

Cons

It is difficult to get access when needed as all request must be submitted via ticketing system.

Pros

I liked the ability automate many of the different pay rules depicted by state laws such as CA's sick time and overtime within the time and attendance. It is easy to navigate and touches on all functions of HR and payroll. We used the HR piece to do our new hires, benefits, time and attendance, along with payroll was pretty decent. The import process within Dayforce was pretty smooth to work with, considering all the types of pay data that needed to go in. Overall I would recommend for anyone who wants to go automated and cut out the manual work. I was impressed even with the retro calculation feature we used to do retros.

Cons

I don't think their was anything I disliked, other than having to upgrade every few months to the next release to ensure functionality and maintain success. Otherwise no cons, but cost maybe.

Pros

Cons

The mobile app needs a lot of work. Competitors are way of Dayforce in this regard.

Pros

We use Dayforce to look at our earnings paystub, access W2s, and update State/Federal tax forms. The interface works well on the desktop.

Cons

The interface does not work well for mobile. The screen doesn't update based on mobile settings so if I wanted to update my Federal withholdings on my phone, I have to do a bit of screen dancing to enter my info and submit. The page doesn't ready well at all.

My overall experience was good. Our implementation team kept us on track and asked us questions to understand our business and processes and recommend best practices for us. I would and have recommended Dayforce to others.

Pros

Our business was heavily paper driven prior to using Dayforce. We had an older payroll system, no benefits administration, a separate time and attendance system outside of payroll, a manual recruiting and manual learning process. What I like most about Dayforce is that it’s a single platform that will house all important employee information is together. I no longer have managers calling to ask if someone has vacation time available, or if someone took a class. It’s visible to managers at the touch of a button. Dayforce has also allowed us to customize our system to the features we want and need. We are using payroll, WFM, Time and attendance, benefits, recruitment, performance management, compensation, on boarding and learning. It has allowed us to transform the way we do our jobs by eliminating all the paper forms and empowering our employees and managers.

Cons

The downside is that each module that we purchased is a separate cost. This is a good and bad thing, we only pay for what we need, but since I want everything we need to pay for it.
