All inclusive system that allows each department to work together and crossover functionality. Very powerful tool

Cons

Some parts are TOO complex. Also, frustrating when something that is working very well gets changed and no longer works as well.

Cons

### "Dayforce the nightmare"

Overall we were over time, off budget and did not get the original scope in. Dayforce folks were only able to help when issues were escalated to the highest level of support. Lesson learned: you get what you pay for but wish someone at Ceridian had warned us of the lite project approach

Pros

Price was cheap for the functionality compared to many other providers and sales cycle was promising. There are some great people in the company who try to do their best by clients. Implementation model price was also reasonable compared to market.

Cons

The company has grown a lot and they don’t have a knowledgeable staff compliment that understood my business. The result was too much time spent after implementation fixing things that were not done correctly. Their various support teams did not work together in a seamless way for the customer. Prepare to have a lot of your own resources to sort things out if you go with them.

when it did work you could tell it was minimally programed- simple and stiff, felt like it was some windows XP add on

Pros

a year ago when it worked it was bare bones, and a bit janky, but i was able to use it, had I not been already tech fluent it would have been like pulling teeth

Cons

as I have said before- Consistently unable to log in, Once i give up on the app and I try on desktop it always hits me with a "internal error occurred" Before when it DID WORK it wanted me to change my password way too often ( nothing I do is confidential, I work in a kitchen) last time I logged in successfully it was June...6 months ago... luckily my work prints out schedules so this app has been just an occasional annoyance when I go to see if its working yet

Pros

Day, force is constantly looking for ways to improve by listening to their customers through multiple formats. Having all of your human resource solutions in one place, just makes sense.

Cons

Implementation of new modules can be confusing and overwhelming. I would appreciate a more teaching focused approach. This way I would be more prepared to actually do the administering of the module myself without a lot of trial and error that waste time.

Bumpy at best. Some days I actually say I miss ADP.

Pros

I like the 'one' database aspect the best.

Cons

Implementation was very lacking. Nearly a disaster. I am over 2 years in and still have not been able to get everything we originally intended to do up and running.

Recruiting module was most robust (the one module we do NOT have running and will probably abandon at this point). We also liked the GL feature - which does work well and was implemented by the one rockstar of our implementation team.

ADP was unable to accommodate some things we needed and they were not flexible to find other ways to help us.

The customer service and the wait time is great. The product itself is intuitive and easy to use. Anytime we have an issue, we call customer service and it gets sorted out quickly.

Cons

It is quite expensive to add additional services and/or have Dayforce do special projects.

Summary: Dayforce has an intuitive user interface that is easy to use for people with various technical abilities. Employees can view their time card in real-time and it's easy to view task progress across devices. Reporting could be more robust. Dayforce is very useful in an environment where there is a fast pace and multiple access points such as retail, grocery stores, etc. Places of work that allow the use of mobile devices will really allow the application to shine. Environments, where there isn't reliable network access, may prove difficult. Dayforce support staff is very responsive to customer needs and their level of support is strong. We use Dayforce across 90% of our enterprise. We use Time & Attendance across the entire 90% and Scheduling & Task Management across 75%. As a specialty retailer in the Musical Instrument category, we sell very specific products to customers with very specific needs. That requires knowledgeable employees to be in the right place at the right time. Dayforce is key to making that happen.

Pros

\- Intuitive user interface that is easy to use for people with various technical abilities - Employees can view their time card in real-time on many different devices - Easily view task progress across devices and with downward visibility throughout the organization

Cons

\- Dayforce could use more robust reporting within the application but have recently released a new Business Intelligence tool to fill the need
