### "Easy to use but the function is limited"

It is easy to use, when the function is there. But really, it is so limited. Hopefully, it can allow me to do more.

Pros

I use both ADP and Dayforce. There seems no much difference between them. I don’t prefer either. For Dayforce, I like it most is it is straigt forward to use, when the function is there.

Cons

I don’t like the software is the function is so limited and restricted. I cannot change direct deposit; cannot change W2 form; even cannot update my personal information like phone number and address. So, the functionality is very basic to me. I need to seek other ways for more functions.

Love, Love, Love! This system has improved my daily tasked. It has also helped my work life balance. Because it is so easy to use, I am able to have be at home more with my family.

Pros

I am a big fan of the payroll features. I have been in the payroll field for 27 years and no other system compares to the Dayforce experience.

Cons

Customer support. We know more about the product then support

The ease of processing payroll and how all the modules are integrated in platform. As well our Canadian companies are in the same platform.

What DayForce does well, it does very well. This includes data uploads, basic reporting, and payroll processing. Getting the system to function as intended, however, is a significant undertaking.

Pros

\-High level of customization within reporting -Periodic updates from Ceridian on upcoming compliance and system changes -Processing basic payroll is relatively easy and simple.

Cons

\-Implementation is difficult -DayForce terminology is not very intuitive, especially at first -Complex reports can be difficult to configure -Every feature/module talks to other modules; requiring users to go to multiple different screens to make changes.

Pros

It's very easy to use and makes it easy to keep track of employee schedules and their time off. It's easy to move around the software as well.

Cons

It can take a while to log on when logging into it on the computer. I also don't like that you don't have the option to use your fingerprint to sign on on androids., but other than those two things, it's a great system.

Pros

Relatively easy to use. Powerful with lots of excellent reports.

Cons

Sometimes sluggish performance. Easy to use guidance at times would be good.

It's pretty simple and user friendly the app doesn't really allow you to make changes to the schedule or timesheets. But the website does, not very mobile friendly though. It does allow me to look at a schedule by day so that's helpful. Overall would like more functions to be available but it gets the job done

Pros

It's pretty easy to use. App functions are limited by company but for the most part it's simple and user friendly.

Cons

The scheduling format doesn't have the best functions. Doesn't allow you to change employee once they have been categorized. And cant categorize them under two categories. (I.e. cashier is only cashier and stocker is only a stocker can't be classified as both)

### "After a year of using Dayforce..."

Our implementation went smoothly, for the most part. We loved our implementation consultant, Zuhayr Moreea. He quickly answered questions, learned our corporation, and did exactly what we needed. We are now in the process of implementing Recruiting and Performance Management, and it is not nearly as quick and smooth of a process. I believe this is through professional services, so that may be the difference. We have noticed a huge difference.

Pros

I like how user-friendly the software is...once you know where to go, it's easy to use. Our employees were hesitant at first, but now they comment on how they like it.

Cons

We are still having issues with the benefits and payroll coinciding correctly, so that has been an ongoing administrative nightmare. Previously, we were on Ceridian Latitude and did not have the benefits and payroll synched.

So far so good but willing to submit idea to support portal for improvement.

Pros

Accurate in reporting, easy to run simple reports, automatically to do retro pay, can automatically calculate pay checks without manually changing any. Fields

Cons

WFM reporting not that accurate if there is no pay in timesheet, no show in employee attendance, no records can be found in report with WFM

### "Benefits and ACA Compliance"

Pros

Dayforce HCM has been an effective single solution for us. It has allowed us to leverage technology, replacing manual paper-based processes. The PPACA module has effectively allowed us to remain compliant with ACA. The mobile app is also widely used by our nearly 2000 associates. Lastly, Ceridian continually seeks to improve the product, often leveraging customer feedback.

Cons

Ceridian Dayforce HCM has experienced continual growth since we partnered in 2013, resulting in internal movements with our support teams. This movement has created relearning at times for those changes.

I really like the product - I think it is will be vital to my organization and our continued growth.

Pros

I really like how robust the system is -there is so much that you can do to help drive efficiency and accuracy. I also like that is relatively intuitive to use for employee side.

Cons

While the system is robust, it can be really tricky to learn as the administrator. There are so many areas that you need to check in order to make sure something, like a workflow, is working the way you want it to. I have had a few times that I have run into an issue with something and the solution was a buried check box. Simple to fix, but frustrating finding out it was just a box that was missed.

### "Dayforce - simple, straightforward time tracking tool"

I have been pleased with Dayforce. It is a quick and effective options when it comes to tracking time. For most salaried employees, it requires no more than 5 minutes to approve requests for paid time off or to submit timecards.

Pros

Dayforce is easy to use and relatively user intuitive. It provides aggregates of accrued PTO as well as "countdowns" to show how much time you have remaining.

Cons

For hourly employees, entering lunch hours each day can be tedious when logging into the tool each day. However, given the hourly nature of their employment, I am not sure how we would get around this issue.

The friendly interface makes it easy to navigate through . Super smooth and spot on when it comes to do with everything payroll, from your earning to your statements everything is crystal clear so help prevent confusion when looking at your paystubs.

I’ve noticed unless your on a desktop it is a bit hard to see with the zoom settings on phone and iPad,

It has been Good but with a lot of areas for improvement

Pros

Cloud Base accessible and portable. Easy customization as clients we can create and modify fields on our own very quicly

Cons

The difficulty interfacing data, and the there is much opportunity for improvement in interfacing. Most of the interfacing had to be on our own with little support. We think the support was not enough and has created delays and painstaking situations.

Overall, Dayforce is a great system that allows for a good amount of customization throughout the platform, they are constantly releasing new modules and items to make the system better each year. I am looking forward to what new items they will be brining in the future.

Pros

Ease of Use, the variety of modules makes it a great product to input all items related to HR. Performance module makes it easy to track and partner with managers to complete annual reviews. The new change from silver light to HTML based makes it even easier to use on multiple browsers.

Cons

Some of the modules do not connect with other, for example the recruitment module does not connect with the employee profile to upload resume and other new hire details. Support has said this is on their radar though for the future!

### "Dayforce makes my life easier!!"

Previously I was processing payroll and onboarding employees using 2 different systems. A time and attendance and a payroll/HR system. Switching to Dayforce has streamlined the way we handle HR incidents, new hires, payroll, time and attendance all in one easy to use the system. My employees appreciate the fact they can now take ownership and enjoy the fact that they have access to see their time, paystubs, able to change addresses, or personal info has needed. As a payroll/HR administrator, time is of the essence when processing accurate payroll. Dayforce streamlined our payroll process and what used to take 3 days, now only takes 1!!!

Pros

Payroll/HR System is easy to use and the icons they have created helps when issues need to be addressed for my managers.

Cons

Silverlight crashes a lot but Dayforce and Ceridian are moving away from Silverlight so it should not be a problem in upcoming future.

Dayforce has been wonderful to use, both as the admin and a user. There are tons of helpful "how to" videos to figure things out.

Pros

This products calendar for scheduling is extremely easy and can be made months in advance which is very helpful!

Cons

To date, we have no complaints. The software is very easy to use. Employees love how simple clocking in and out is, and navigating between screens is a breeze!

Ease of use

Pros

I like that you can set up specialized access for your different employee and managers based on the need of the roles. One of the biggest things that I like about Dayforce HCM is that they really listen to their customers. They care about what we think and utilize suggestions for improvement and ease of use. I have been through 2 implementations and I highly recommend Dayforce HCM

Cons

There is very little that I don't like about this software. One thing that comes to mind is the updating of direct deposit accounts. I frequently have employees needing assistance with updating accounts. Also, it would be nice for employees to view their withholding forms in Dayforce and not have to rely on seeing what they are claiming on their paystubs.

### "Switch to Paper Free"

With a thorough implementation process and the right amount of training, this software has been beneficial to our organization to improving our processes and switching to paper free.

Pros

We have switched from paper timesheets that were keyed by payroll staff to now employees enter their data into the software. The timesheets in the software are then easily reviewed and approved by managers before being processed by payroll staff. Our employee count has grown substantially over the past few years and we have managed to keep the payroll team small by switching to Dayforce.

Cons

There are areas of the software that are not very user friendly. Without completing a training webinar, it is very difficult or impossible to figure it out on your own and complete the required steps with accuracy.
