Together our company and Dayforce's updates has allowed us to expand and keep everything in on place, from payroll to learning platforms and performance reviews

Cons

The errors, I will get unexplained errors while loading scheduling or timeclock pages. Most times this is a struggle, because we are all busy and only have so much time to do something.

Pretty decent time reporting platform. Sometimes I have to check several different windows to find what I'm looking for.

Pros

I like that you can set up your "favorites" and it's a fairly straightforward way to check time reporting balances. It's also easy to request time off through the platform.

Cons

Sometimes when I clock in or clock out for a meal it doesn't register and it's not easy to see current day's time reporting until the day is finished. It's also not easy to correct discrepancies.

I use Dayforce in three capacities: as an employee to find my own employee information, as a leader to manage my employees and as a compensation professional looking up employee data for the sales teams we support. It's a nice tool, but it has some quirks that take some getting used to.

Pros

The refreshed design is attractive and easy to read. I like the helpful links section that allow the company to help users navigate to internal resources outside of Dayforce.

Cons

The navigation seems clunky. Even though I'm in the tool multiple days a week, I often can't figure out how to find my own direct reports or another item I need. It seems like it could be more intuitive and user friendly.

### "Very Poor User Experience and Frustrating Glitches"

Very, very poor user experience. Hire a skilled UX Engineer and resolve the issues.. you'll have an excellent product after that.

Pros

Simple interface. Clear prev/next/cancel actions. Overall interface is clean and well organized. That is where the PROS end.

Cons

Using the Dayforce HCM is highly unintuitive. It is, without a doubt, the worst HCM I have used, ever. 1) It does not import and ATS optimized resume correctly 2) It places work experience content in incorrect fields (company in role fields, etc.) 3) It adds spaces to Role Titles and arbitrarily adds/removes formatting from descriptions. 4) The worst User Experience aspect is the form error handling. I input a role that the resume import omitted. Data was accurate and entered correctly but the form would not submit. A single 'There's an error on your form' toast notification displayed. No other feedback. No field highlighted as the error. Nothing. Checked the data, all accurate, hit submit.. error. over and over. Having to remove a role from your experience just to get the form to submit is highly counterproductive. 5) On a laptop, scrolling to the bottom to read the disclosures or makes selections is a fun process because it will scroll you back to the top, for no known reason. 6) It also requires input of a country, which I understand, but for EVERY employer. Which is a poor Customer Experience - default to the applicants local or ask to populate the country across other roles, at the very least. There are basic, fundamental User Experience patterns that should be baked into any decent paid application.

Dayforce helps reduce systems by bringing everything together; this is helpful for our end users - a one-stop-shop.

Pros

we can cover all payroll, HR and online training in one location, which has helped us to reduce the number of platforms used in our business. As a user of DF, I find it helpful that I can see what is going on in multiple sites across the business at the click of a button.

Cons

requires a lot of set up and dedicated resource, as well as lots of training for users. Training was done internally, and it would have been helpful to have resources from Dayforce themselves to help with this rollout.

Overall was not bad. The most difficult thing was dealing with customer service. Not haveing a dedicated team to respond to the tickets open was frustrating.

Pros

My favorite thing of this system was the reporting module. Very friendly to build reports and share with others.

Cons

Not very user friendly for the end user, employees. Our employees never used the system because it was a little confusing.

What I like most about day force is that it's extremely user friendly and it's easy to use layout makes everything simple to find.

At this time I cannot think of many downsides to Day force. The app has been helpful with access to payroll to even my own employee details.

There is a lot of features that it may take some time for people to get to know how it all works. There's also a bit of trouble when people are clocking in due to the location having errors.

Once the app is set up on your phone, the overall experience is pretty straight forward. Things are easy to find on it.

Pros

The app on the phone is exceptional. Notifies me of updates on payroll. Shows me all my hours and deductions. Can go through older pay stubs.

Cons

I haven't run into any serious issues yet. I haven't used the desktop version all that much due to using the phone app exclusively.

Made clocking in and out a breeze. Positive overall experience with managing PTO and time off requests. Would recommend this app for small and moderately sized businesses (15 - 250 employees)

Pros

User interface was generally easy to navigate. Clocking in and out was easy as well. You have the ability to set up a range area making it capable to clock in in the parking lot, or anywhere near the building. Time saving for sure!

Cons

There were some app updates at the time I was using the app that would make it difficult to submit time off requests, but after a month or so the problem resolved.

Positive experience overall. We were previously using an HRIS that didn't display all of the information we needed and our employees were never able to view it, so using Dayforce has made our employee's experience with their information positive but also provided them with the autonomy they didn't previously have in our old system.

Pros

It's very user friendly for the end user. I like how everything is housed in one HRIS and I am able to view all of the employee's information in one easy place. The data is visually easy to read and it's conveniently in one place.

Cons

The reporting function. Creating reports from scratch isn't that simple for users who aren't familiar with how to create reports. I feel like this could be enhanced and simplified so that creating reports is easier. I also think the number of clicks it takes to do certain functions could be reduced by using shorthand or typing and having the system auto-populate information.

Easy to use, payment stubs are easy to view and print for records. Entering daily hours was easy and being able to enter multiple work locations was helpful.

Pros

Easy to use, everything is in one place, tracking hours/lieu time/vacation/sick time is easy. Keeps everything in once place for employees. I also liked how all the benefits were in the system so it was easy to see when I used them.

Cons

Employees are unable to see the monthly accumulation of their sick/vacation time and seeing past time can be tricky as you have to go through a list

It's a fairly reliable system, but it does go offline more often than other systems in my experience. It helps my organization get things done and is consistently upgraded. One challenge is that reporting features change and we have to keep re-learning.

Pros

It's one of the most sophisticated systems available and very configurable.

Cons

The customer service model is lacking. The account rep assigned doesn't help with issues; they are more of a salesperson. Getting help from their ticketing system/help desk is hit or miss.

I have used Dayforce for over five years and participated in many intensive integration projects. I learned from each project, and I find Dayforce HCM easy to navigate.

Pros

Dayforce HCM has all HR, benefits, WFM, report, and payroll in one place and is easy to navigate once you understand the system. The Dayforce support team is excellent, and they are always ready to assist you whenever you need help.

Cons

The Dayforce HCM has greatly improved its Reports and Analytics functions, but I would appreciate having more report specialists to support the reports.

I have been using Dayforce for almost 10 years. We still don't use all the modules (even though I would like to) but I hope we get there in the next few years. The features we currently use have positively impacted our efficiency and accountability. I greatly enjoyed attending the Insights conferences for several years and look forward to the new Discover Dayforce event this year. The FIT sessions, demonstrations, product updates, and opportunities to meet one-on-one with customer support reps are extremely valuable.

Pros

Everything is in one place and they are constantly innovating by adding or updating features to manage the changing needs of employers and the workforce. I feel comfortable with their efforts to ensure the highest levels of compliance.

Cons

Like every application there are little quirks and malfunctions from time to time. I have found Dayforce support to be helpful in these cases. Also, since it is such a robust system it can take a while to learn your way around, but the community and support portal provide needed resources.
