Over all it has been great! We have had great experiences especially with the Ceridian support team.

Pros

What I like most about this software is that it has endless capabilities. I especially like the onboarding feature that we recently implemented as it has helped in our efforts to go paperless.

Cons

Sometimes a functionality need will come up and Dayforce wont have the capability yet.

The company I worked for moved from ADP to Dayforce for Payroll and it was an easy transition and the mobile app was great.

Cons

I didn't have any issues with this software while using it on my PC or mobile device.

Ease of tracking my pay and also my remaining vacation and incidental hours.

Pros

This software makes keeping track of vacation and incidental hours very easy. It's very helpful how it lays out weekly pay, and also breaks down holiday pay for more transparency in your paycheck.

Cons

The site can load slowly, sometimes taking a few minutes to get to the clock in screen. Not that big of a deal, but when someone is trying to clock in on time, this can push them back to being clocked in late.

Single database, tax processing and management, ease of updating employee information, even backdated changes

Pros

We love the SourceTax and single database approach, and reporting has been very flexible. We also enjoy the way that retroactive changes process in the system and the easy of viewing and calculating the upcoming payroll file for review.

Cons

We've had some issues because we didn't start our training until we were already in implementation, and we made a few mistakes that we're stuck with at this point. They frequently release updates, many based on customer suggestions, which is good, but sometimes the new releases (two per year are mandatory) cause unanticipated issues in previously functional areas.

Very happy so far.

Pros

I use Dayforce daily and I find it user friendly and easy to navigate through the system. I use it to check scheduling, payroll, work benefits, learning, and set work goals.

Cons

So far I have been using Dayforce for over 6 months and I have not come across a down side as yet that has been a setback and delayed my time or work.

Pros

I like that we have the ability to customize our different payroll policies. Time and Attendance was the main reason we chose to change our HRIS system. The Payroll Module is user friendly. Time and Attendance is precise. Real Time punches and to the minute payroll.

Cons

Depending on the browser you are using the software takes a while to load. Explorer is the recommended browser however it lags. I have found less wait time to load using FireFox.

Our company is still going through our implementation so I'm sharing all the real and live experiences of what we are going through. It's extremely painful working with Dayforce. Please do yourself a favor. DON'T consider Dayforce. You will regret!!

Pros

They have nice homepage/ contemporary looking website. They have a good sales team who force you into purchasing their product.

Cons

Horrible implementation team. Whole bunch of overseas IT who has no HR knowledge or understanding of labor laws. We can't understand most implementation team members' English. They promised us many things at the beginning and they only accomplished 10%. It's the slowest system/website I have ever used. Their customer support takes forever to resolve one issue. We have a simple issue that took them one month to resolve. Their website is extremely unstable. We get error messages and get booted out all the time. Their data integrity is horrible and their systems have so many limitations. They can't even build a simple formula that can properly accrue and calculate our PTO and CA sick leave policy. It has been incorrect for 5 straight payroll since we went live. Their report function is corrupted. We run the exact same report 3 times and each time we get different outcomes. Their system is corrupted. Our company regrets so much to choosing this company. But we already made our investments this far, there's really no way out at this point.

Pros

The interface itself is pretty easy to use within the Dayforce modules and I really like how they talk to each other and streamline processes. I have had some of my best experiences with customer service through Ceridian and they always help me modify the system quickly to make it work effectively for me.

Cons

The biggest difficulty we've experienced is Dayforce's ability to talk with external systems. We have a number of third party vendors and the feeds between those and Dayforce have been extremely challenging to get running smoothly.

Overall I enjoy it very well

Pros

I love that dayforce allows you to have continuous calculations running when making changes. On the fly allows us to make changes and sees them in real time. Dayforce is very fluid and solid when it comes with inputting and processing multiple playgroups at once. Coming from previous service where I had to wait for the calculations is real time saver.

Cons

Sometimes it boots you out as well as the silverlight error.

Pros

Dayforce offers a lot of flexibility as a true single platform for HCM professionals. The system is extremely easy to use and has a robust training platform. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Cons

The API integration to other applications does need a bit of fine tuning but it works well for Passport Health.

The system is relatively easy for users to navigate. Dayforce is consistently adding new features/options that are relevant and help HR professionals support the organization. With customizable options, organizations can build solutions specific to their unique needs.

Cons

When software is updated, some fixes create other issues (e.g., recently our ability to see applicant questionnaires ‘disappeared’ after a fix was implemented to avoid duplicate questionnaires).

We were able to go from having seven different systems for payroll, benefits to only one. We have automated many of our processes and reduced/eliminated most of the spreadsheets we are using to track information as we have an actual system wherein to track this data.

Pros

One single application, totally integrated for payroll, benefits, HR, recruiting, performance management, etc. We really like that the system is easy to configure. Dayforce itself has come a long way in the 18 months we have been a customer--they have upgraded the platform several times. They are good listeners and seek to improve all the time.

Cons

We have struggled with carrier feeds. Dayforce is growing at such a rapid pace that it seems like the customer support side has been slow to catch up. In the 18 months we have been with Dayforce, we have had 3 customer success reps. The turnover (on their side) is a little worrisome.

Horrific. They are just awful to work with. Wasted six months of my payroll team's time, getting nowhere.

Pros

Nothing. We did and RFP and reviewed several different options for managing HR and payroll. Unfortunately, we went with Ceridian Dayforce due to price. It was the worst mistake ever. This is horrible software, matched only by the ridiculously incompetent deployment team. I would never work with them again.

Cons

The deployment was horrific. Multiple people, who obviously didn't talk to each other, with ever worse data templates that they requested we complete. The templates are indecipherable. I haven't seen a payroll system yet that people love, but I would avoid using this at all costs. The software is not good, and the implementation was even worse. Worst mistake ever choosing them.

I would not recommend Ceridian Dayforce as a small company. Any pros are provided by all other similar systems still in dispute on credits to my account.

Cons

don't use this product. The sales staff tells you how great it will be, then when they fail to deliver in implementation they never get back to you. My implementation team pushed me into support as soon as the timeline for implementation was done, however we weren't finished. After 5 months I gave up on support. Dayforce just basically became a giant time keeping program. \* read fine print in contract, they added fees not in the quote. \* sales staff "bended" the truth all over the place \* promised trip to Vegas for their convention, never heard from my salesman again \* implementation never completed, took two calls and two emails over 5 months to a vice president before any concerns addressed. \* still two quarters later not fully operational \* website works extremely slow and cumbersome \*implementation consultant was unfamiliar with US rules and practices
